#loot grind spots?

I think there's two right now: a cave close to ragni's north exit, and downstairs a structure between nivla woods and time valley. Like xp grind spots, lots of mobs spawn there, but instead they give 0xp and have lots of loot drops.

More of a question than a suggestion but would it be healthy for the game to have more of those in higher levels? They can be an alternative to lootrunning and forgery for mythic hunting, and loot parties can develop from these (like xp parties, but for loot). Idk how those would look like (probably a mess) but it's interesting to think about.

There's currently seven.

Lv 4-5 cave on the Decrepit Sewers exit from Ragni
Lv 8-10 cave in the open field near the Ragni edge of the Pigman's Ravines
Lv 12 under a ruin on the edge of Nivla Woods and Time Valley
Lv 14-16 in a small cave directly outside the Ravine Village
Lv 20-22 in a cave on the ocean end of Mt. Wynn past a small ruin with Mud Spiders
Lv 26-28 in a cave on the chore near Bremminglar, in front of a small pirate ship
Lv 32-34 in a branching path within the Green Gloop slime cave(requires Green Gloop to be finished to access)

I plan to add more, but I also plan to add more going up. As in, the next one that will be added will be the 38-40 one.

i think a lot of it is that there arent new ones or any outside of earlygame unfortunately

I'm specifically trying to keep them in caves for a reason. Gives me way more control over the design of the area

I think those slimes in olux cave from chaos dragon vid also can be a loot cave.

I've always been a supporter of in-game playing, so I'd rather you not need an external website to see parts of a game. I get that's not a popular mentality though :/

yeah true :/ I just never used the map in my entire first playthrough and figuring stuff out and exploring was mad fun

Honestly yeah I could see playing without the map and just the quests markers to play the game

are they visibly important, or do they just look like normal caves until you enter them?

if a player can tell its something special by walking past it, then i have no complaint

it’s definitely not something we as longer term players think about much, being used to knowing exactly where and when to do things playing a class with knowledge or have gear prepared in advance for smooth sailing. but new players don’t have the game experience for that, and providing early game areas for them to get at least decent gear is pretty good.
