Ritualist's rain dance hints towards a possible totem spam gameplay loop. However, such a strategy has the issue of requiring lengthy spell combos, especially if you were to frequently switch masks.

My suggestion: reinforce this totem spam gameplay loop by (possibly?) disabling haul and aura while masks are active, and instead making lunatic, fanatic and coward auto-cast aura, uproot and haul respectively. Haul and aura would still be castable when no mask is active. (of course, the auto-cast would still cost mana, and the current mask effects may need to be rebalanced)

This should help add more uniqueness to ritualist's gameplay loop as it would reduce the detriment of active mask switching and make spell cycling as ritualist more interesting

That is true, also I wouldn't want to constantly re-cast my totem or constantly haul while having a mask equipped

the idea is that you switch masks and then cast totem to cast whichever spell you want between aura haul and uproot

and if u wanred normal sppells you'd sinply deactivate mask

yeah it is, and this would make it worse

also ill like to add that the main point of the masks was to switch play styles on the go, Lunatic being more DPS based, Finatic more Crowd control based and being a tank, and coward being more athletic and mobile

The reason they give -cost is so it influences players to use those spells to influence the play style

auto casting spells allows the same type of play style switching, but reduces the time spent casting

Fanatic had situations it was probably better than lunatic due to survivability
