There's no refund policy because it's an intended feature to the wynncraft experience, like all of the other intended features.
I agree as well too as well too
simply dont lose !
I'm pretty sure they used to do refunds, but after a while so many people started asking for refunds on lost items they had to make a no refund policy
Salted be like: “Too many people asking for items? Shut it down! Def isn’t a deeper issue”
Yes
There aren't any good ways to prove that you have lost something and aren't lying.
There's /lockitem and most bugs are solved.
Also proof can be edited and faked.
Doesn’t matter if your item is locked or not, bugs have not been solved and its worse than before, lost 4 dhydros this month alone
“OH NO NOT THE DHYDRO” you may answer sarcastically like many others, but the issue is that I’m losing items, I’m lucky its easily replaceable but the fact I have lost 4 items in the past month is bad
What bugs? I once had a white horse bugged out after I shift-clicked it in the bank, but that's fixed I believe.
The bug of an item literally disappearing into thin air randomly, specifically when switching worlds, I lost 3/4 of the dhydros when switching worlds for warring purposes (No I didn’t even hover over the slot it was in)
Strange, Im sure they will/are look(ing) into it if you reported it
Still I rather have a small chance of losing stuff than have people fake proof to get a free mythic f.e.
Generally most reports of this bug are from world switching of some kind, although I’ve heard of a few other un-related item losses
Thats the issue with a refund policy I do agree, people can abuse it, but there is likely a way to do it well, like for example, the guy that lost a perfect trift with VIDEO EVIDENCE
Maybe if they can check logs of your past inventory and trades (as well as drops)
I think they can, idk for sure tho
that is such an incredibly lame reason for a no refund policy
its not hard to fake a video like that
i think they cant
The refund policy is difficult and may bring about otherwise unobtainable items due to believable fraudulent evidence.
theres a bug with /lockitem that can make you lose stuff
it doesnt happen if you dont use /lockitem
Fellas why do you think I posted this meme, once you shake the cows hoove there’s no going back.
Video proof is quite easily fakable, there's no current methods of spawning items on live servers, trusting mods with something like that is a step too far (mod abuse could go absurdly out of hand) and I don't believe a system that constantly tracks inventories and dropped items accurately is feasible.
there's no need to track every item, if there was a way to for example "tag" an especially valuable item, you could verify if the item has been deleted. I don't think it's such a big deal if you loose more common items, but there needs to be a fail-safe for mythics and items like the perfect trift (rip)
Time to fix it. Still low chance to happen I think?
I mean they also fixed dungeon hoppers (which ate 2 of my white horses...)
Doesnt even seem that hard, just drop the item if it cant go to inventory
drops in the first world from where you came and despawns immediately
I think part of the reason is also there being no system to return the exact item when it comes to its ID's so theyd have to give you an unrolled one where it could be better or worse then what you had originally, and if you lose a perfect Time Rift like that other guy did, they have no way to ensure you get a perfect back.
Which the response to that is make the item generating system better for this situation but at this rate that is probably unlikely
its been in the game for years
probably not gonna get fixed
It's feasible.
Is it?
Yeah.
Iono if it's just a hypixel thing but theyre not very transparent with what theyre tracking for security reasons, p sure a year or two ago i saw something that indicated they were tracking dropped items
ARE YOU READY ?
ARE YOU READYYYY ??
Salted: TRANSFORMATION CENTER
Cant they just limit restores to items over a stack or two in value if too many requests are the issue
People will just fake it
value is subjective
