It was always annoying but it got way worse in 2.0, basically every mob that hits me can send me to China, and also the knockback interrupts movement spells, which is not very good for when you need to get out of a sticky situation and a mov breathes on you and now you’re dead because your Escape spell got cancelled.
I understand why KB is in the game, but its just not fun to deal with, especially in certain parts of the game like TCC where the mobs yeet me to Mars and back so that I can’t stand on the platforms.

Its literally only a Wynn thing to have knockback on basically every mob. In literally every other game the knockback mobs are telegraphed and shown to be a threat, in Wynn, the random cow that said “OH YOU’RE APPROACHING ME” can send me from Detlas to Cinfras in a punch

It especially sucks on ranged mobs because you can’t do much about their knockback as a melee class if you keep getting yeeted away from them

the most funy is when you spam meteors on some mob just for that mob to get flung over your head and dodge the other meteors and in process hit you and thus knock you back into the next state

One time I executed a perfect Aura dodge, but my movement spell got cancelled by some random thief mob that stubbed his toe on me

So I got one-shot and died, leading to everyone losing the war

stun locking is just cringe in general tbh, I honestly think agi should be reverted then capped at 70% chance at 150 agi, full agi builds would probably be actually on par with defense again because in all honesty the only difference between def and agi now is with defense you don't the "Dodged" text pop up

Or, here’s a better thought, take knockback off of 90% of mobs in-game, they don’t need it

knockback i found just causes more problems.
Getting stunlocked just sucks or it causes that other problem where pre 2.0 i would dodge a second hit, but due to kb i'd get punched in to another mob taking some more damage which i couldn't avoid due to the first hit.

Knockback is in most games, just not to this extent, in most games, mobs with knockback are big and telegraphed to have the ability to throw you across the entirety of Canada, in Wynn a random Cow could have KB

It feels more rare for mobs to not have knockback than to have it

samsam was just talking about how wynntils on the first playthrough ruins immersion, which i personally disagree with but the point is still decent

Yeah kb should honestly be restricted to scripted spells that are very telegraphed. Also please remove the goddamn meteor knock back flinging mobs upward. Arcanist feels a lot harder to chain meteors with when the mob is 10 feet in the air after a single one. It doesn’t make any logical sense either

yup, that's just a horrible mechanic that nerfs arcanist even more, as if it needed nerfs
