#Psychokinesis is... weird?

That's the best way I could describe it.

On the screenshot, for example, I aimed at the wooden slab, yet the meteor crashed into the ground below. This issue is a lot more apparent in CUC's boat part when I try to launch meteors to where the melee mobs are, and they just crash down into the water, completely missing them.

Why is it this convoluted? Why can't it launch the meteor in the actual direction I'm facing, why are these auto-adjustments to it's trajectory needed?

Edit: and I completely forgot to mention the varying speed of meteor that increases the further you launch it. It's comical, especially with Entropy; just try to drop a meteor into the TNA entrance.

I agree. As an arcanist myself it’s pretty annoying when my meteor goes like 10 blocks lower than where I aimed it. I get that they don’t want the range to be infinite but an easy fix is making it fly straight and having the spell expire when it reaches the range limit

As it is rn, psychokinesis is a burden, not a feature

The varying speed is because the travel duration is always the same

#

If you aim a meteor at your feet or at a block 40 blocks away it'll take the same amount of time for them to land and explode

The major pro of psychokinesis is that you can hit moving targets. Normal meteor requires both the X and Y axis to be correct for this meteor coming down from the Z axis to hit, which can be pretty hard if you're fighting a mobile boss (ahem ahem, Orphion, The Nameless)

#

Psychokinesis requires only X or Y to be right as the meteor travelling will hit the target even if they're moving

I get what you’re saying. For me it feels like I have to aim drastically upward to compensate for the decline, which in my opinion makes it harder

Psychokinesis conceptually is not bad, in my opinion. It's range also makes it convenient to use against enemies whom... I'd rather keep my distance from (Greg)... or to simply snipe down ranged enemies.

#

But, as arrow bomb can fired wherever I like, I'd rather have meteor do the same too. It's a lot more intuitive, convenient, and all in all it's just how I would imagine a "slow projectile fired from my position" to work, even before I unlock it for the first time.

Psycho i feel like is one of these things where its fine to use. Until you hit situations where long range is preferred

Imo it feels a lot better at long range and is horrible at short range. And if you have it with the 5 meteors in a row ability it feels bad at every range
