it’s just jank and a bit uncomfortable to play, and i don’t think it’s very controversial to say that a class should be easily accessible to people of any skill level, not just set the solution as just getting better
also the amount of building restrictions simply because of a badly designed tree is a bit unfortunate, abilities themselves aside

this is so true. i’m not saying assassin is perfect but theres a sentiment that somehow it’s still as terrible as it was on release of 2.0
assassin absolutely needs to get some of its abilities tuned a little to be less jank or finnicky (like stab hitbox) and also just needs a less restrictive tree
if you’re wondering about the build its just a standard shade build. cycling spin-multi gets you roughly 100k assuming you’ve got smoke up on the target and high enough cps

yeah the lack of versatility in build types for assassins archetype is definitely an issue
a gimmicky hmelee acro using shurikens sounds really unique (im aware the conversions are spell atm, and honestly i think thats a good thing - just an example of the kind of possibility for gimmicky playstyle id love to see)

why do you think the shuriken conversion being spell is good? to me its counterproductive since in optimal spellspam gameplay you wont be casting any melees and good luck hitting the tiny shuriken hitbox when lunging around with lace

i guess i was thinking since the attack itself only comes from a spell, it'd be fitting as one .. but in retrospect, seeing as it replaces the melee attack it may as well be one
or at least significantly change the ability to make it usable in spell builds, because honestly as a concept i love them, its just the execution makes them hardly usable
