I think you are forgetting you can no longer war with personal emeralds so u cannot war across the map in 2 minutes like before.

You can only war out of guild bank, which from molten heights to jungle will take eons - not to mention once the map is thrown out of order and ports start getting taken you don't get 1% ally tax anymore
