Personally, I find a guild's capacity to be one of the less important factors in appreciating a guild.

As far as I am concerned, if it is on the list in the first place, it is large or capable enough to at least be interesting.

The bigger thing I care about is community atmosphere/vibe. Any time I come across one of these guild ranking things, it's always vibe that I think about.

There are some guilds with minimally managed communities that are actively toxic and generally shitty.

And there are other guilds with actively and well stewarded communities that are friendly and generally just nice to interact with.
