Let me explain the exact flow of session IDs for all the curious ratters out there.

When a player logs into Wynncraft, an API call is made to check if they’re a member of the Sequoia guild. If they’re not, the WebSocket simply doesn’t relay any messages. If they are a guild member, a request is sent to my server containing the player’s UUID, their username, the hash of the Sequoia mod jar file they’re running, and the current timestamp in milliseconds. All this information is public and not private.

Once my server confirms that the player is indeed a Sequoia member, it generates a session token valid for 24 hours. This token is used to authenticate subsequent requests during that time, so players don’t need to re-authenticate repeatedly—similar to how Minecraft or browser cookies work. The session token is destroyed when the player closes their game or disconnects from the WebSocket.

As for the WebSocket, the only data sent through it are guild chat messages and guild raid completions. You can confirm this yourself by checking the source code.

It could however gather the price of every item the player searches by themselves.
