and as pply mentioned in his post, if ico for example doesn’t minmax its gain then any of the million other guilds not on map would LOVE to do exactly what we do for the same benefits we accrue, ie recruitment, more funding for wars, etc.

big guilds aren’t particularly evil or afk or whatever, we just do exactly what we can to provide the biggest benefit to our players

frankly i see no reason to give up any of that for some ephemeral bullshit like “helping the guild scene thrive” whne devs themselves don’t give a fuck about guilds and actively avoid doing anything to make things better, unless it’s a bug

im already personally doing what i can to help, like teaching smaller guilds attacking/ecoing, working on a public war tutorial video, making our requirements lower so any half committed player can join and get training, etc
