You're not making sense dinkleberg

rigid mountain
#

because the governments were being manipulative and/or overreactive

honest vortex
#

But the world?

#

Sounds like

#

Simulation

#

Can I just say

#

I love memes chat

dense onyx
#

it was never that bad in the first place, but careful manipulation of the media gave the government more control, and they were power tripping over it

rigid mountain
#

the countries with less restrictive policies actually faired much better during Covid if I'm not mistaken

honest vortex
#

Yeah they did

dense onyx
#

if we look at deaths per capita compared to the Black Plague, the Plague had a much higher per capita death ratio compared to covid

#

iirc the per capita ratio of covid was less than 1%

rigid mountain
#

Covid is and was never much worse than the flu or cold, it just got hyped up massively and governments used that hype to take more control

dense onyx
#

or around that number

tawny robin
#

i think there would be funner ways for the gov to do that

dense onyx

it doesn't factor in advances in medicine however

honest vortex
#

Who would've thought something called the World Health Organization was only formed to drive world wide profit and back population control for corruption?

honest vortex
#

Look at the IRS

rigid mountain
# dense onyx it doesn't factor in advances in medicine however

I mean, there haven't really been advances in medicine in terms of preventing new plagues early on just because of their inherently novel nature, and anti-vaxers made sure the solutions we did have weren't nearly as effective as they should have been.

i honestly think America is one bad policy away from total collapse

Just destroy your relationship with your father. That's free, otherwise how else would all these young folks be doing it all the time

it doesn't have to be violent

however

if it's a tyrannical government I think that the population has every right to overthrow the government

that wasnt overthrowing

as i said before to take my view you would have to believe european monarchies werent actually all that bad

It does

ashen knoll
#

U see

fading zealot
#

you mean unknown as 3rd?

ashen knoll
#

Because it’s voltage

ashen knoll
#

Well not rly unknown

fading zealot
#

ig

ashen knoll
#

Its a middle one

#

Because of noise

#

So it wont be able to flicker due to noise

fading zealot
#

there's also the system of true, false, stay, change

ashen knoll
#

There is “undefined”

dark aspen
#

I wouldn't really call it a viable third state...

ashen knoll
#

It is a 3rd state

#

Undefined is a 3rd state

dark aspen
#

I guess...

ashen knoll
#

It just doesnt have a new value

#

But it does have a voltage range

#

Between 1 and 0

fading zealot
#

it's a technically though, no?

ashen knoll
#

Not rly

fading zealot
#

technicality*

ashen knoll
#

It always exists in hardware

dark aspen
#

But at least binary stays simple, unlike quantum programming.

fading zealot
#

do people actually make systems where they deliberately set this undefined value?

dark aspen
#

Qubits are goddamn hell to work with, I'll tell you that much.

ashen knoll
#

The point is that if the voltage is on the edge of 0, noise won’t push it to 1

#

Or the opposite

fading zealot
#

besides, you're describing a particular binary system that only applies in electronics right

#

as a number system, there is no third value

ashen knoll
#

I mean isn’t binary made due to electronics?

fading zealot
#

not necessarily

dark aspen
#

Pretty sure you can do binary with light signals too.

fading zealot
#

number systems exist regardless of whether there is a use for them

#

there's a base 285832 number system

#

no one uses it ever

#

but it's there and it works

dark aspen
#

But hexadecimal is quite used!

ashen knoll
#

Yeah

#

But binary is used due to electronics

fading zealot
#

not necessarily, it's widely used in cryptography for example

#

pretty sure it has some use in number theory too

ashen knoll
#

:O thats interesting

fading zealot
#

also if your computer has a chunk of bits set to undefined I'm pretty sure it's gonna treat it as corrupted data

#

though I'm not entirely sure about that so take it with a grain of salt

#

basically the undefined is a bug and not a feature, it exists only because you can't increase/decrease voltage instantly

ashen knoll
#

Its not a bug

#

And it exists due to noise

dark aspen
#

But would you intentionally have noise?

dense thicket
ashen knoll
#

You can minimize it

dark aspen
#

Yet you can reduce it to a satisfactory amount.

ashen knoll
#

It will still exist

#

Thats the issue

dark aspen
#

That's essentially what people have been trying to do with quantum computing: reduce noise.

ashen knoll
#

Yeah when noise will be completely removed

#

Binary will have 2 states

dense thicket
#

you are confusing terms here

#

binary is literally referring to a base 2 number system

#

there is no third state there

dark aspen
#

I don't think nullifying noise is necessary for a regular computer as it's current average noise level is fine.

dense thicket
#

when interpreting an analog voltage range as a binary value, then undefined / not clearly defined values can crop up

#

but binary doesn't have "three states"

ashen knoll
#

Because we have undefined

ashen knoll
#

Effectively, no

dense thicket
#

I don't get where the misunderstanding is

dark aspen
dense thicket
#

binary literally has 2 possible values
converting an analog voltage value to binary can lead to undefined (read: not clearly defined) values, depending on how you convert it
but the two issues are not the same, that doesn't mean a binary digit has "three states"

ashen knoll
ashen knoll
#

It literally does

dense thicket
#

sure

#

binary really has 3 states

#

I'll excuse myself now

flat pasture
#

Literally arguing over nothing

ashen knoll
#

True

dark aspen
#

I mean, I think the point is that technically speaking it has 2 states, but as noise is a concern, a third "undefined" value tends to pop off, which you will essentially have to consider when making a system, which logically means there are three separate states.

rigid mountain
# ashen knoll Wait until u realize binary has 3 states instead of 2

This is not true, no binary system has an undefined value, as that would violate its definition. Binary is literally the presence of charge or it’s absence, the exact value does not matter, and any system that interprets it as mattering is not a binary system, it would be ternary or above, not binary. Binary code does not have an undefined value, programming languages only allow undefined values because they define it as part of their variable system, it’s not actually part of the value, so just because a boolean in most languages can be 0, 1, or undefined, the actual data is still just 0 or 1, and it’s not being saved as a bit on the hardware when the language is saying it’s undefined.

Who told you that binary was in any way actually ternary?

rigid mountain
# ashen knoll But binary is used due to electronics

I do math by hand in binary because it’s easier than decimal, it has plenty of applications outside of computing, and within computing it’s only used because of the fact that electricity can easily hold a binary state within a capacitor by either holding a charge or not holding a charge, and that charge can easily be released and interpreted by binary logic gates, NONE of which have any case handling for undefined, as it violates the entire principle of how they work.

bad habbit happend to anyone for sure

#

but it definitly increase if you already in a bad living quality

naive thistle
#

Logically speaking if a person comes from a bad situation, getting into a better one should lessen their bad habits, because they have less restrictions on what they can and cannot do

random tiger
#

he did clean up his room nowaday btw

naive thistle
#

But on that side it then comes down to the person themselves and whether they can work on improving themselves or now

random tiger
#

if you;re trying to say he did not clean his room

#

after he streaming

#

or even more after his mom died

naive thistle
random tiger
naive thistle
#

I don't know exactly what happened after that effect but

random tiger
naive thistle
#

I don't personally watch him because I just don't enjoy his content, follow his ideals, and just generally don't like him. So I can't really speak about him exactly like others

#

I just occasionally get news about him in my YouTube feed

random tiger
#

good amount of people who watch him disagree with him alot

naive thistle
#

Why do people watch him if they disagree with him x)

random tiger
naive thistle
#

Yeah that's why I watch the video

#

I usually don't believe YouTube titles to be entirely true these days

#

Click bait is far too effective of a way to get people to click on videos for content creators to not use it

#

So watching them is really thr only way

random tiger
naive thistle
#

That doesn't sound enjoyable

#

I'd much rather watch someone who gets along well with their chat and is enjoyable to listen to

random tiger
#

nah chat get along with him

#

he just trying to pickout those tone deaf people and parasocial

#

on the internet

#

like when playing a game

#

he trying to saying dumb shit and then baiting reaction to get those people pop out from the chat, and then he pause the game proceed to farm content from them

naive thistle
#

That also doesn't sound enjoyable

random tiger
#

for the person yea for sure

naive thistle
#

He creates situations where people disagree with him just so he can stop what he's doing to then talk about them

random tiger
#

that right, now you know why asmongold videos are always 5 hours long

naive thistle
#

I'd much rather watch someone who doesn't intentionally create situations and then stops the entire reason I came to watch to take advantage of those situations

random tiger
#

and alot of people enjoy that

#

not you but alot

naive thistle
#

A lot of people I think are dumb...

There's the wet stream of memes I've been looking for

#

Thank you entity

haughty herald
#

especially when its very easy to argue that all of that came from him growing up poor

#

or at least most of it

naive thistle
#

Growing up poor doesn't equal your status later on in life

#

It can effect hoe you think, but it's also up to you to change that

haughty herald
#

thats not what was said

#

the habits he built op while being poor

#

up*

#

made him what he is today

rigid mountain
#

How does being poor result in having bad habits 🤨

naive thistle
#

The habits I built up while being poor was don't spend money frivalously

rigid mountain
#

Someone’s doing a classism right now

naive thistle
#

And it's only benefited me later on in life

haughty herald
#

led to him being depressed iirdc

#

you can see where it goes from there

#

thats the reason hes still in that house

#

despite being able to move

#

because its where most of his memories are

rigid mountain
#

That’s a depression thing

haughty herald
#

due to him being poor

#

that was my whole point

#

im talking about a singular case here woe

naive thistle
#

To be fair I think most people in the states can't afford the proper Healthcare even if they aren't poor

haughty herald
#

so i dont need you to tell what general things are applicable in other situations

naive thistle
#

But that's besides the point and more so is a reflection of how shit the states is

haughty herald
#

it doesnt add anything

naive thistle
#

But yes like spaghetti said that also isn't technically a thing related to being poor

#

In this case it was semi caused by it

#

But it's more so a mental issue, like depression

#

And unless he already is he should really talk to people about it

haughty herald
#

set on by him being poor

naive thistle
#

In this case it was because they didn't have money, but it's not a direct cause of being poor, because it can happen to anyone

haughty herald
#

this is like what those politicians say just to not have to give a crap about poor people

naive thistle
#

Politicians don't care because they are richer then the normal citizens considered rich

#

You got like poor people, normal people, semi rich people, and then politicians

haughty herald
#

please figure out english before ever talking to me again

#

thanks

naive thistle
#

Your saying it's a direct cause of being poor, but being poor isn't the direct cause

#

That's the point I'm trying to make

haughty herald
#

please see my 2 messages above

naive thistle
#

Either way, disregarding anything like this

#

Some people could just not like him because of his personal views

#

Like for example, you could have the nicest Canadian who builds hospitals and gifts puppies to kids, but if he supports and likes Justin Trudeau

#

Then I'm gonna dislike him

fading zealot
#

politicians don't care because their source of money is rich people

#

and votes are easy to get

#

in my country there have been several issues (namely modernizations to the healthcare system and repealing the capital gains tax) which pretty much all relevant parties have been promising for nearly 20 YEARS

#

and it's still not done

#

because they can get your vote without doing it, so they don't really have an incentive

#

the only way to actually fall from relevancy as a major political party is to consistently deliver the opposite of what you promise, afaik such was the case with the Tories in the UK

#

basically votes aren't a problem for politicians

#

the "we'll just elect better people" is a myth

#

so they care about those who are a source of their wealth

#

which mainly amounts to corpos giving them lobbying money, and that goes for your corpo-hater politicians too - check if your country has a public registry of transactions in politics, the general trend you'll find is that almost every politician takes money from corpos

#

the reason corpo-hater type politicians are fine with you hating corpos whom they get their money from is because their answer to corpos being garbage is to give the politicians more power, it's a win-win

#
