ahhhh yeah. I especially found it fascinating to learn about the reasoning for using a complex hilbert space as the basis for QM. Many operations kinda just made sense after that, as to before the construction seemed arbitrary

That's why I was really happy that they added a small math course in hilbert spaces and Banach spaces along with quantum.
In my opinion it's really important to also teach the proper mathematical background
