hey yall how is spell damage actually figured out? I just got to lvl 100 so just equipping whatever gives the highest stats isnt really the move anymore. I thought I was cooking with a sharpshooter build with axiom where I just equip all of the -atk speed tier equipment, since the atk spd is already as low as it can go to start with there wouldnt be any negatives on the gear. But now it seems like my spell damage is way lower than my main atk damage?

Spell damage usually starts calculating from the average DPS shown in the weapon tooltip box, not the melee damage DPS (right click bow shots are considered melee)

To increase spell damage, what you really need is spell/elemental spell damage both in raw number and % but also to sustain it with either mana steal/regen

long runs arent worth the time investment unless you are aqua stacking rainbows to cover every challenge. Rainbows DOUBLE the effects of every beacon, so purples give 2 pulls, blues give boons with 200% potency, etc. The real fun is when you start vibrant aqua stacking boons, which gives a 6x boost compared to regular boon. Vibrant aqua stacked vibrant dark grays give +18!!! pulls and +18 curses.

with rainbows like that, you're basically cramming the effects of 200-300 challenges into a nice 100 challenge package. Those 100 challenge runs take a lot longer than you think as well, taking 2 hours if you have a nice dedicated LR set, and many more without. The crazy mission synergies still can do some cool stuff with regular non-rainbow runs, but rainbows just let those runs get absurd, giving you thousands of effective pulls, which is basically a guaranteed mythic every other run
