it's a new feature, each mount has an enclosure nearby, where the mount 'stays'. You'll get a whistle that summons the horse instead, and the new way you level the horse is by feeding it different kinds of materials, and collecting powerups on the ground (while you have energy, which also gets replenished by feeding)

And every one of those servers has a current queue of about 20-30 people deep. They’re all at about maximum capacity from this update being rolled out, and again that doesn’t account for the increased mount speeds, including new flying ones now
