Sure, you are not guaranteed to get mythic every single run, but when some of them cost 50stx you need to hit it once to make it big. And after you average the gains per hour spend raid is even worse than farming mob drops or even profs. Raids are there for you to get tomes and aspects. Lootrun is the get rich quick scheme.

I get multiple mythics lootrunning every single day i spend doing them. And you can pick lootpool with highest average value. In lootpool there are also 20pure le and other items to improve the average value. But what we use to have hundreds of stx is not "take ok value stuff" but "sacrifice and hit it big next time" patience is rewarding there.

So yes you can do 1 run in your whole life, not get mythic then say "lootruns bad" but that is just not how it is realistically farmed.

Lootruns outperform raids day to day AND you get the** 50stx items as bonus on top once in a while.** When you average it out and compare to raids, raids are not even worth considering for le in comparison. Like i said it is there for them tomes and aspects, tiny bit of le you gain there is just ity bity cherry on top. After you have tomes and aspects maxed just avoid them completely and focus on the lootruns.

Do what you want with your time, but we are not discussing personal enjoyment here, but meta le gain methods.
I even preffer raids myself when it comes to fun, but i do lootruns because I need them stx to fuel my Enmity gambling addiction. And I'm getting them several times faster in LR. 💰

So tl;dr no it does not mean little to get shiny on top of your normal mythic gains 😹 😹 😹 Just like it does not mean little to earn 500$/week at your job and then win 10000$ lottery every month on top of that. Especially when comparing to the 15$/hour job you are doing in raids.
