it exists to prevent data overflow, which chunk bans you

you also shouldnt be hoarding nbt heavy items at all

the type limit is a non-issue when you actually think about how cell capacity is handled

you can use a bunch of 1k and 4k cells for items you have less than a stack of and those cells are so cheap they are free

a little automation and you can just hit a button in your terminal and make thousands of them in literal seconds

a 1k cell can hold 8128 items of a single type
