It is really not worth it making your own guild. War system does not support it, guild raids can not be started without full guild team, and the old guild already have rewards unlocked, including seasonal ones. It is not something you can catch-up to.

I still recommend making your own guild tho, you can get cool guild tag and not be bothered by captain asking you for pictures of your socks or whatever they ask for before you get promoted or receive guild rewards like tomes and such. As they are distributed manually they favor veteran members or captain's friends. Instead of some sensible and fair system.

Weight the upsides and downs, make your decision.
