It's not hard to save up ingredients actually. And I wouldn't listen to people telling you to not save the ingredients - there are very few people who don't want to at least max out proffing on one class to be able to make end game crafteds.

Sure there are common ingredients where once you have a full stack, you can probably just sell any additional ones to the blacksmith, but ingredients are a huge boost to crafting XP and you'll be cursing yourself to the end of your days if you don't start organizing and keeping them now.
