You know now that y'all bring it up, I can see how peeople get blindsided by the XP. Although the floor entrances suggest a level range, the quest doesn't actually indicate you will miss out on XP if you finish it "early". It's also not like this concept of "finishing early" occurs in many other quests, since if I'm not mistaken, most other quests have a minimum level equal to the recommended level. You do run into the opposite problem (getting less XP from having power leveled) but not this scenario so much.
