Hey y’all, new player here, I got an odd question

How does the enjoyment level in the early game compare to that of mid-late game? I just started playing, and I want to play blind for as long as possible, meaning no major spoilers. I’m in the early game, about six quests in, and so far it seems to just be running around and “reporting [information] to [some guy]”. Of course, the dungeons and exploration are very fun, but my mentality is currently “why am I doing this, how does this benefit province” and there’s a lot of dialogue for little story progression.

Does this change throughout the game? As I unlock new abilities and features like crafting, does the enjoyment increase? Or is the entire story just me being a messenger and a quest-monkey: “go in this cave and retrieve this item for me!”

More discouraging is hearing people reference the lack of utility for ghosts, when I frequently use them to help players experiencing areas for the first time. That, and the world just breathes a bit more when you see everyone running around.

Funny thing is, though, I haven't been having any trouble connecting to the server anymore. I used to have to try to connect 5 different times before I got in, but since ghosts dropped it's been smooth... I'd rather struggle to get in.

It was the second easiest, behind Tribal Sanctuary. However, why is it considered harder than Tribal Sanctuary during 1.20?

Revenant of Skien:

• Has equally shitty attack patterns
• • Actually most of the phases you can either literally control its range with basic knockback or its too busy speeding around than actually attacking you, id argue it's worse than Tribal Sanctuary
• Has bad damage
• • Assuming you have a slight bit of hp sustain and a tanky build you can do the boss basically not moving at all at level. This is much less possible at recommended lvl for Tribal Sanctuary.
• • Just like Tribal Sanctuary, outside of multihit it basically does negligible damage.

WIth 2.0 Rework, Revenant of Skien became even easier due to far more diverse abilities(at lvl 70 a player generally can complete an archetype), many of which make controlling or killing Revenant ten times easier than pre 2.0. In comparison, Tribal Sanctuary, while also kind of suffering from 2.0, suffers far less as the player has much less ability points at level 57. However, video was made in 1.20 so this point should be disregarded.

So, why was Altar of Sanctification ranked above Tribal Sanctuary?
