The Wynntils map is also completely preloaded. If something changes on Wynncraft, Wynntils won't reflect that change until they manually update it, which, in some cases, they still haven't...

For example, as far as I'm aware, the Wynntils map STILL doesn't show Alekin Village. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Wynntils as a whole is not a great mod. Some features are essential, especially towards the endgame (item rolls are particularly useful), but I would strongly recommend relying on it as little as you physically can. Just my opinion.

• Incompatibility (Wynntils is incompatible with a lot of mods, never once have they taken responsibility - and yes, despite what they say, it's their problem to fix)

It's a poorly maintained mod that's full of bloatware, and they avoid compatibility by blaming other mods in any way they can, even when the issue is entirely their fault. Their lack of support is disappointing, and they don't separate themselves from Wynncraft enough so most players will come here to report bugs rather than the Wynntils Discord server. Many features don't even work as intended as recent updates have been ignored (most rebalancing etc hasn't been accounted for, this has too much depth to explain in a single message). I could go on.

Maintaining compatibility with every other mod is basically impossible, and usually an issue like that isn't a high priority item; there are always more important bugs to fix, making a mod for a server with no mod inherent mod compatibility is finicky business. I know how you feel, too; I was waiting for support for a specific mod for months, but I'm not entitled to making the volunteers drop everything else to fix this one small issue, especially since it also requires them to learn the other mod's codebase and what the issue there is (not easy)! If I wanted it that bad, I could always do it myself. It wouldn't be fair for me to harass them for not doing it if I'm not even willing to do it. Only so many people are actively working on it, and they have their own ideas of what are important additions. Would your solution to this just be "work harder"?

my point still stands in that this isnt a big priority item. its a minor graphics tweaks mods and unlike other issues they dont actively break the server/mod. it was skipped over by the main contributors until they had the time to go back to it (since nobody else seemed to care enough to fix it)
