A round of nerfs just came live targeting a lot of rainbow items and, regardless if they were necessary or not because the other items were weak, you(balance team) just broke a ton, and i mean, a ton of builds, a lot of player builds are literally unusable now, my friend suddenly got no armor while raiding with me for example because the patch went live without warning and his gear got unequipped, thats literally not how things should work
Not only that, it is a huge nuisance for everyone thats in the end game because they need to find new builds now and fix their old ones and a huge regression for newer(mid game) players, my friend for example, who was aiming to make a new build for themselves that had some of the nerfed items in them and now not only are they aimsless, without a goal anymore, they will probably have to search for a new build, they had already spent a lot of their emeralds on the build so they are basically back at square one, what would anyone feel like after working hard to get a build they wanted a lot, only for that build to not exist anymore because balance team thought it was too strong and literally made it unachieavable?
In my opinion, It only makes clear how out of touch some of them are to not veto a decision like that, i heard people saying that only linnyflower still plays the game from the item balance team(just a rumor), at the time i wasnt sure about that and really thought it was just a rumor but after those changes... yeah maybe its not everyone from the team that plays the game and those changes just came to confirm that
Im not here to curse people for the changes and i dont wish any harm on them, but i really wanted to make it clear how out of touch it was, and if not out of touch, i would say a lack of professionalism as a server/game to do it that way (specifically speaking of the way the nerfs came live)

There’s a solid guide around that says you should have about 34/100 blues, but honestly I’ve found that you can get just fine if you manage your early game well enough and get lucky with the rainbows

what I do is get blues until I get my first rainbow, which almost always happens within the first 15 challenges. Then I get vibrant aqua + vibrant white for those easy +30 challenges and just start to aqua stack purples.
I’m usually super unlucky with my missions so I’ve only seen cleansing ritual twice and equilibrium straight up has never showed for me, but ideally you want either of those to get to the 100 challenges. If you are done with your 4 missions and you don’t get either cleansing ritual or equilibrium you might be better off forfeiting the run and starting over. I still keep going anyway and so far it has been seriously challenging and overall super unrewarding which is why I recommend professions over lootrunning if you want cash secure and fast. In the long run you are supposed to be better off lootrunning though, it’s also more enjoyable than the current doomerish left/right clicking simulator that is profs

i dont even understand why theyre trying to make it "hard". like the content that should be ridiculously hard is guild raids or something, not a world boss that only spawns every 3 days and is more often than not at some ungodly time
99% of the dificulty is in the fact that the boss just doesn't even work because they made it fully time gated instead of just making it spawn more often but you can only loot the chest every 3 days or something
