ah same. i'll give you the two cents i had on hand then

at this stage in the game you're going to be levelling up fairly frequently. if you're playing daily, chances are you're going to outlevel everything you have within the week. personally, i wouldn't care much about what you're building towards until level 40 and only start preparing for a long-term build at around level 80

i spent a lot of time fine-tuning my specs and damage throughout the game despite being told this myself. at a point, i was so optimized that only the quests in the game that were meant to be extensively difficult gave me a hard time. typically it was because i was focusing more on dealing damage than taking it

i would recommend focusing on your hp (and some defence) as long as it's not too much of a slog to kill things. until much later in the game, being able to survive anything is pretty much enough to defeat it

Rover's explanation was kinda bad imo so as a mage main let me tell you it more clearly..

By default, only your main attack adds winded to enemies. But a certain node (Gust) makes ice snake also add +1 winded. This lets you stack winded faster.

All attacks you deal, including teleport and heals (if you have the node for it) will deal more damage to enemies with Winded.

However, espescially Meteor/Ophanim does more damage per winded, if your AP Tree has the node "Breathless", Teleport will deal more damage with the node called "Transonic Warp"

Theres also Devitalize that makes enemies deal -0.5% damage per winded they have.
