Wynncraft has to be really careful not to have anything in the main map be a direct and constant consequence of an existing source from a raid or dungeon

Or a quest, even

Basically anything that’s big enough

Stuff like a door being permanently opened after you complete a quest is like fine and dandy

But if there’s a raid boss who is like, maybe controlling the minds of everyone in the region so they attack the player and then you beat the raid, the game kinda has to either pass the lack of change in the world as either the game turns back time post-raid or the mobs are still hostile to the player even when not controlled

Or if a region is infected with a legally-distinct-corruption that is canonically supposed to go away immediately after killing the quest boss, it’s not like the game can change the entire landscape of the region client-side

At least for the Decay Orphion does say it’ll take some time for the parasites to die out so there’s precedent to everything looking the same the second you leave the Realm of Light

But whenever Wynncraft adds in content they need to be careful to either:

1. Not add in something that affects something in the main map wide-scale,
2. Have said something only affect the main map temporarily, so the player can simply be booted to a variant of it off-map
3. Or in the case of Anathema the only change are entities in the sky, which can be client-sided
