Like, it's supposed to be the cool area right before endgame stuff which is SE originally, but it's not got any story relevance

The ping ponging from Nesaak and Troms to Gavel, and then the ocean slapped in between said ping ponging is just really exhausting

Nesaak at least has a nice lil fast travel to Llevigar, but Troms is really far away from everything

It has always felt so much easier to play, once I got out of that tundra and jungle to gavel range, and I could finally stick to an area and feel better about exploring

I think one of the things that suffers the most is SD’s, especially the gavel ones. Dark forest especially gets screwed, since the level range to get them doesn’t coincide to the time you get there, and would want to explore. They’re scaled more to the quests you’re supposed to do, but the range of quests by then are kinda all concentrated into the ocean and jungle, meaning you don’t actually get the opportunity to explore the dark forest’s secrets until you’re done with those quests/areas
