My headcanon is that it takes a good few days of travel out from Ragni to reach the entrance of the Nivla Woods

Same for me as well. I've always seen that Wynn is just a complete mess political thanks to the entire region being covered in corruption spikes and zombies. There's just zero way to create any cohesive government outside of minor city states who manage to be self sufficient

Well, the average human walks at around 5 kilometres per hour. Enzan is retired, so that's probably a bit slower - let's assume 3.5. That means in a day he could cover roughly 28 kilometres of distance on foot if he walked for 8 hours at that speed.

Enzan doesn't want to go and get the item himself and assumes that it will be useful for the player, which means it is probably outside of his general walking distance but within the range of a recruit presumably headed to Detlas as all the recruits seem to be going there.

Therefore it is outside of the 30 kilometre range but within a decent travelling range for someone on the road to Detlas.

It makes sense that the village Therck lives in would be a waystop between Ragni and the Nivla border, and it is 200 blocks in-game. If it is a waystop, it is probably at around a day or two of journeying on horseback, since anywhere closer would be too close to Ragni to make sense. A draft horse pulling at a steady trot is roughly 11 kilometres per hour - if that is extended to an 6 hour travel day it is 66 kilometres from Ragni.

I'll round up to 70 from there for the sake of consistency. There is about 50-100 blocks between that village and the border, and under the same estimations that would be roughly 30 more kilometres (if 200 blocks equals 70 kilometres). Therefore the Nivla border is roughly 100 kilometres from the centre of Ragni

My reasoning is a bit flawed, but that's what I'm starting with

I know this will probably be rewritten in future updates, but I genuinely do not know what Tasim is talking about when he says that he was so close to Aledar. Literally I can count the number of times they’ve interacted on one hand. 1. King’s recruit 2. Post-mushroom man 3. Arachnid’s ascent 4. Infested Pit (pretty generous including this one) and 5. Post Arachnid’s ascent.

For 5 there’s an optional interaction you can have with them post AraAsc in the detlas barracks

I honestly don't think it would have been filled with that many people even with the implications of the scenes and world of Wynncraft being downsized for gameplay (and over-doing the map) - Fruma's rebellions were already forced to be as minimally quiet as possible before present-day and were huddled in secret bases, rooms, sewers, whatnot ruins.

Also take into consideration scientists specifically aren't going to be as aplenty as say; a bunch of people that want to whack shit down (The Worker Class are more aplenty than scientists just by natural understandings of Classist societies having Education exist exclusively in the highest income areas
They probably really were just nine people, effectively - enough to start something but also it's not like people weren't also just visiting Corkus Island during it's early days - also take into account that Corkus still has a public history that we might not know about, maybe some did their own gallavanting to Wynn/Gavel at some point and came back with kids which then just turned into a population growth before Corkus was just solidified as a more closed-off state.

It's good - but it's also not good that they live in a world where they have to have the health care of a continent that never cared about them but cared enough about people complaining they were dying to open up support just so the people complaining would stop whining.

People in power don't put up health monuments because they care (People can care and Nurses/Doctors ABSOLUTELY care or should if they're entering the occupation) it's publicity, it's to calm down any protests about how they don't have health care.

You can call them racist - their culture incentivizes exiling anyone autistic, essentially - Celebrations in Smoke that girl who was just really awkward and panic-y with their words about being exiled because they were exiled for dumb reasons that make no sense to me as well - they burn a changeling every festival to make sure the culture continues going on where we kill and hunt anyone that acts even slightly unlike themselves or unlike the 'normal' people

The Changeling's are completely unaware of these concepts because they're on a 20ish hour regime a day that's just working, gym, military duties, changeling skills, sleeping then eventually they get thrown out to be spies where they'll fumble hard because they weren't taught 'well' enough about the actual social culture in Aldwell and then they die scared and alone, burning.
