I'm super not a fan of Lari sdkjskdjksjds, I'm saying she's being a bad person by like a lot.
Not because of the whole 'She caused the Light Forest region to be mostly swamp' thing but because she's the sort of person that will not let you have you own opinions and will fight against it because 'Killing is bad!', killing isn't bad, if a tyranical ruler is killing thousands of innocent people why should I go and think a conversation is an easier way to solve someone who will keep killing.
And what about the people that work in the upper-ranks of that tyranical ruler, they're going to want to fill the spot to keep more innocent people dying - should they stay alive?

You can teach a Nazi to not be a Nazi but there were so many Nazi's and so many willing to hurt as many people as possible.
Lari would want to teach the Nazi to not be one and would keep trying it over and over because she thinks they will at some point emphasize with her about how killing Jews is absolutely horrible actually and I straight up think that's terrifying - it's how rulers keep ruling, they aren't dealt with and you can't convince a high-ranking captain of a tyrannical rulers structure to suddenly be good, the power is too tasty, the fact they are at the highest up point is too good and those are the people you want to convince - you could only convince people that just join the evil ruler.

I've met Lari's before, they hurt my friends deeply because they had the gull to have a different opinion than them and outright cancelled friends just because they cared about things that you should care about! You shouldn't not care about the structures in society that cause people to die young, with sexism, with all the shit in the world just because I want to hold a peace sign at them thinking the homophobic people care about me giving them peace, they don't want me to exist in the first place, peace just means they get to shovel me down into a box where I don't fight for my rights anymore, and Lari I genuinely believe would be someone who would want to fight with love unless she met someone who oppossed her opinions just a little too much, she treated Protagonist terribly until she kept meeting the same road block over and over with the same people telling her over and over how terrible her route of beliefs are and eventually backed down just to half-change herself.

People need to change for the better, I want Lari to be an incredibly person because she's smart enough to understand things like Pacifism is an important part of the world but she cannot be allowed to get to choose who she wants to kill just because they were giving too many red flags.
Gay men were being killed and are used as a victim to the world about how Gay Men are the problem in society and I have it in me to fight that fact with my whole soul, I owe it to everyone before me and everyone who will grow up and find out their identity or sexuality and Lari needs to care about that, because it's not going to be roses and peace signs, fighting for resistance, for change needs choices that are regrettable only in the fact we're told murder is bad but I don't want the terrible people ruling the world to be allowed to ever rule again.

Lari is someone I want to like because I believe someone like her is capable of learning, I had to learn about the world around me and the gifts I get to have compared to others and I should strive to not let people stay in their isolated worlds where they're demonized and scrutinized and treated like worthless piles of nothing just because what, they're not white?
