Mooblooms
is this real?
nah that old map
in that case how is the player even beating all these godlike beings then
boltslinger is just that powerful
I sure love Texeditl and Xelnt my favorite towns
new areas soon™
This is such a stupid name
It's like someone calling a realm of darkness the Dark Dimension
Wynn: technological
Gavel: magical
corkus: technological
SE: magical
Fruma: technological
next major update: magical
wonder how far butterfly effect will go
Wynn is technological?
a little
If anything it's even further behind in the past compared to Gavel's stuff
i love when people come up with patterns behind updates
fine wynn doesn't count since it was wynncraft 1.0
Seems to be this
According to this random website
the queen flies into a terrible rage every craftsmas
when she finds a stocking above the fireplace in her room with a single lump of coal
The Queen hates Santa because he's the only living being in the world that can just easily get through all of the citadel's defences
Santa doesn't do anything malicious but it infuriates the Queen anyway when she sees presents in the palace lobby for all its inhabitants because it means that Santa just casually breached into the place and left
It's a sibling rivalry, santa is the beast of the realm of Craftsmas embodying Peace, he was born during the time when light and dark were chill
Santa is gonna get a new quest in the Wastelands cuz thats where he mines his coal from to give to bad players
if they ever added santa lore I bet he'd be an old mage
pacifist, presumably
or theres
well okay you're going too far with the realms shit
Does that mean we have to retcon the current one
I kinda find the Santa coalition thing funny
cause there's the afterlife which is a separate realm but not a Realm
the colour scheme for War is red & black, Christmas is red & white. white and black are opposites
and if the festival of the blizzard is linked to craftsmas then its prob the same with craftsmas
coindidence? i think not
@sleek carbon O Great YY where is Link Rat in this map
Twins
Opposite yet the same
Does that mean that War and Christmas are going to recreate what happened with Light and Dark and create a new Realm out of their conflict
if Santa was not a pacifist
red white and black :bartek: Frederick is coming
Yes
The realm of
Politician
Realm of Politics which will be blue
Falling under the parkour civilization, you discover the purgatory
thats the enemy of politics obviously
then again dark and light don't make dawn
I'm starting to think that Bloomi wasn't actually as prevalent as I thought it was
I can literally only find like two big suggestion posts about it and only one drawn map
Did the rest get deleted over time or something or is Bloomi just tiny in relevance
The wynn team wiped most of it because it was leaked content
Santa: super old mage
christmas council: other mages who subscribe to Craftsmasian philosophy and devote their power to spreading cheer and joy
ok and then where is hpk, in Hell?
Bloomi is happening
Bloomi should be added eventually
True
I hope we get a dark comedy dern
He retired from running the realm of peace to work on his workshop
I'm gonna crash out
More people should write up fanmade Bloomi content for fun
I want to see it
hear me out, he's like bak'al and was corrupted but instead joined the light instead of dern. cuz yk red and white
imagine bloomi is the sole democratic province ever
What about morgor 😔
(Btw if you guys find any fanmade Bloomi content forum posts online direct them to me pls)
eh
he doesn't seem to be corruption themed
other than the red on his outfit
what do you think Azael's political leanings are
orphion got him dressed up
cause Fruma might be democratic now
thats why
I mean I only write up absolutely insane theories
soooo
Azazel?
probably aligned with Lucifer
i miss writing theories
AZAEL
Zhiraok is the new King of Fruma !
Azazel really needs to hide himself better, like seriously? just deleting one letter?
Santa's powers aren't corruption though
In his quest (singular) I think he can teleport
and conjure snow
which isn't very corruptiony
teleporting, you mean like
especially since snow and ice stop corruption
||majin, her majesty ||and im pretty sure bakal also teleports
well yeah he's with orphion now who gave santa the snow and ice
close enough
?
Is light power associated with ice?
it can be if you try hard enough
also the lightweaver archetype has freezing sigil & does water damage
hmm
In that case why does corruption in general slow when met with ice
Is there something equivalent to ice that dark has?
desert
corruption has an infernal theme
fire is stopped by cold (light) and no oxygen (dark/void) obviously i figured it out
oh my god is there an actual seed here
no
light isnt really stopped by dark and dark isnt really stopped by light
What if ice is something else
Wait what if ice slows the corruption because it makes the molecules in the corruption underground roots move slower
I figured it out
Huzzah
parasite
tho
what about the desert part
why is corruption slowed by sand
I guess the parasite is the ice of dark, but it seems to only be able to drain light
idk if its bc of sand but corruption struggles getting to the desert area & ice area im pretty sure
Ig we Will have to see
they did just add a big spike formation in the desert
what if ice energy is peace energy... and that's why santa is the beast of Craftsmas/peace
I'm going to cast you into corrupted lava
i swear there was some lore reason about the corruption unable to spread to the desert
maybe im tripping
how far into the desert is the spikes?
I think it was just isolated
all the more evidence for secret 4th realm of peace
here's the three big points
ah
Rymek has a lot of incursion points
so 2/3 are on the sides which makes snese
i dont remember there being that middle one tho
has some nether wart so def corrupted
it's really obvious when you think about it
i thought it was just cause almuj was gated for centuries
Why is light cold
Shouldn't light be really warm
And burning
That's a world event
i was joking
yeah but it's always present
See
do we ever learn why corruption has issues crossing the sea
Ice would be representative of something opposite of infernal corruption
water is melted ice.
think about this:
Western Wynn is mostly under autocratic rule from various kings and has quite a bit of corruption
Gavel is democratic and has no corruption
and Fruma is super monarchical and is ruled by corruption
Almuj is a flawed democracy, yes, but the power of any democracy still slows corruption even if only by a little
yeah but it's room temperature
or a bit below
it's not freezing cold
corruption is a weird thing that hasnt been explained that well
yea
and the sea is under the democratic rule of selchar
yet again, democracy protects
given You Know What, I wouldn't be surprised if they go back to explain it better some time soon
at least its physical aspect
Doesn't need to be freezing to stop corruption i guess?
the sea has the pyrates' republick and corkus too
and in fact I suggest that Bloomi be added as the Realm of Democracy
which will be invaluable in our campaign to crush the Realm of War
i hope they take time to revisit old lore then keep pushing forward on the story with dern and such
we need an ocean revamp
where would you put bloomi and its entrance on the map, actually
wherever is the most democratic
oh yeah the rest if the game HAS to play a bit if catch-up
so probably somewhere in the ocean
Call it Dalste
I would put it on the mountains in between fruma entrance and gavel
hey guys, did you know that
salted backwards is-
s sal s salte s-
Near corkus
yeah but then that's such an awkward placement
and also I think there's dungeons and other stuff offmap there
next you're gonna tell me ragni is like anagram of some youtubers name
Almuj is the most institutionally corrupt place in all of wynn
you ever checked?
it's a uh
very
flawed democracy
the Bloomi portal sure won't be over there!
you can literally hear the undergrowth ruins music on the mountains of fruma 😭
also coordinates exist
make bloomi communist and make the capital of bloomi Nilats
Corkus isn't democratic enough either, since the Avos have little to no say
but then we'd spend too much time in bread lines
Aren't they treated more like a foreign nation
the player doesn't need to eat smh
still. racism is undemocratic
I think it should be on Mage Island
I think Bloomi should be in the void
the void is extremely undemocratic
just look at the life forms inhabiting it
do you think any of them are capable of democracy?
The void villagers seem pretty democracy-able
isn't the void village some sort of commune or democracy
since they don't have a king or anything
they aren't the dominant lifeforms
Well what do you know about the void stalkers' need for democracy maybe they don't want to talk to you
yeag
well first of all you have Regular Island
immediate violent response to a non-threatening unfamiliar species? sounds like racism
very undemocratic
Are we non threatening for barging into their homes and looting their shit
yeah there's only two or three places on the eastern ocean edge that look worthy of checking out and iirc one is an empty camp
These mountain kinda only have regular island and the mushroom camp
Also gavel coast had like nothing on it except for jofash light peninsula and llevigar
I always went over their caves on the tops of the void mountains
And maro peaks terrain ig?
what could this be?
House on the beach looks avo to me
little far from corkus here
Okay LARI
Make bloomi 100% coastline
traversing through the caves would be awful expansionist behaviour! entering the sovereign territory of another nation in such a violent manner?
Put it on the gavel coasts
Bloomi is the coastlines we made along the way
I think that each coast has one self-sufficient goblin nation
a retired buccaneer's home
I visited that place
They can then annex fruma and unite humankind
before Fruma released, I was in favor of a combined wynn-corkian amphibious assault on the Fruman beaches
because the gate looked shittily defended
Well they can airdrop into eltom
it is tiny in relevance
why do they have so many unmanned cannons on top of the gate pointing down at their own soldiers.
||then again we did just wipe it out singlehandedly and legally we're a ragni soldier||
What does the ragni king think of us liberating fruma smh
rage
Go on, I've said everything I have to say- King of Ragni
In case someone like us show up so they can keep unmaning them while we're in their line of sight and busy killing everyone
Epilogue patch is gonna make him go "you WHAT"
Sadge
I decided to go read up about Bloomi to learn more about it and was kinda disappointed at how little history there is
he sees the first live test of a gatling gun against an innocent pigman and then reconsiders
I was hoping when it first released that we would like be able to use the cannons against the bridge and door at the start and blow our way into Fruma
I swear to god there was more than 1 fanmade map of Bloomi
Does anyone remember more lol
Because I vaguely remember like a second one
purple you have to understand
bloomi's origins are a one-off offhand mention by grian during a corkus reveal livestream as an example of what not to do, suggesting random joke provinces just because corkus got added
Morgor?!
Yeah I know how Bloomi was conceived
that too
bloomi's all in your head purple you're going crazy
in a perfect democracy
and there's a big red spot in the middle of it that has a Portal inside
that's jupiter idiot

jupiter
Why do you think it's called craftsmas in lore
day before crafting
crafting of what
What was the queen's plan for the decay if we didn't show up ?
nuclear bombs
we see some over corkus
what if Fruma is nuclear armed?
damn that actually has the potential to be really bad
right into the fertile gylia plains and into the gert homelands
a starving Cinfras, and the Gerts breaking free in search for food
i wonder why king o' ragni is a villager...
Adopted he told us himself
oh well
wait how do you know what stuff to name folders to change the model of that
it's because there's a secret global villager conspiracy
Wynnexcavation site E is in ragni
ughhh I just need to do a little more scouting in Rymek and then I can be finished with the (non-SE) wynn part of my political map
hints: rymek
lumber jacks
jimmy
tribes
uncivilized wasteland
jimmy II
these are all the political entities
unsure where the western staircase down into the canyons connects to and I found a decently sized encampment of tribal exiles
I don’t
o
I just found the original texture and then replaced it
how find
I just
Find it, I guess?
I go into the resource pack until I see the texture that is the anathema moab
Like what answer were you expecting lol
Oh
Uh there’s probably some resource pack extraction mod out there
ah
Just grab one and you’ll be set
W_6767
alr ty
U aint finding it among those
Blud looks through all the thousand textures 😭 🙏
.
How much time did it take u
I know how the moab looks like lol it wasn’t that difficult to find
But there are thousands of file aint there
Idk but I just scrolled through the folder until I see a color I recognize
Yeah but they’re not all the same color
There are surely a lot of red colors
Like, if it’s the Queen or something I’m going to recognize an image whose colors vaguely match the Queen
The moab has the Corruption symbol so that one was pretty ok
Not my first time I’ve went through the pack to find a specific texture
So if I understand correctly || orphion asked the elves to cut down the forest guardian so he could get a foot back in the physical plane ? ||
From the || their connections are weak anathema dialogue ||
prtty sure yeah
That... Makes aldorei's secret 2 a bit better
The idea that || corruption is his fault instead of random elves on the other side of the sea || is pretty cool
Still feel like we need more orphion red flags
||yeah but the problem is that you have to go through like 50+ levels until you realize Orphion might not be a dumbass||
I think that a good recontextualization
and it give more red flag to the light
but at the same time I still have a problem to like
why is this guardian tree stablize the two plane?
like is it the bind?
Thats what im also wondering
and I feel like there should be better way to show it
because the thing is that
throughout this entire time
it feel like Orphion is a fucking dumbass LOL
Probably? We don't know how the olm opened their portal
Wdym
Isn't the 2nd dern opening cuz light also opened
Or u mean the 1st?
I mean like maybe there's a darkness analogue to || cutting down the tree ||
At the same time?
Probably not but saphanis had to get a foot in somehow
I dunno I haven't thought about this very much
Well its been said that it was through the help of greg
From the silent expanse? Idk prolly around 1400 BP
There's no way orphion can ask the elves to cut down the forest guardian to open the portal, How is it even possible to happen without the portal open?
well maybe the connection is weak mean Orphion only whisper to the elder
and by cutting the tree, it allow stronger connection to the world
In the quest it was that the elder had visions, probably from Orphion
also in the quest ||the guardian of the forest has some sort of connection to the light which the elves already knew about, so they knew about it||
Shaterred minds tells us the elves have ways to commune without portals
orphion is a fraud bro was born one of the most powerful things in the universe and gets fraud checked every day
Orphion’s machinations are merely beyond our mortal ken
i'm pretty sure yes
Fuck wrong chat
hey guys
do you think what was shown on the trailer was an alternative timeline or we got scammed
Red herring
So annie is a humanoid figure?
I like to think it’s what would happen if we were chosen instead
||yes||
Fruma 2
U can see aledar alr got the blessing here
My theory is, we getting more quests fixing up the province after
this could be from unfinished truth route
It may also have nothing to do with it, afaik they already mentioned that alternative route on beta shouldn’t have been hyped too much
no CT comfirm that the unfinish truth is just dialogue change lOL
it not gonna be stroy changing route
Ngl they didn't say that, did they? They said it was meant to be a dialogue change
pretty sure it just dialogue change
I dont think they will go as far as making entirely different routes with different story and gameplay
consider the route we have is the intended play
I mean, they did take more time on it, they didn't release it cause they could'nt make it in release
we dont know if they taking more time to do the epilogue that still missing in the game
That i agree
or the alt route
consider it seems like they planned to be just dialogue change
I dont think they will scope creep to make its own story
I mean, i'd still like to || save Rex's arm ngl ||
the current route we have rn
is the intended route
The alt route suppose to be an easter egg
was supposed *
yes it was suppose to
It was suppose to that why they put so much check
behidn the route
but they probably did not expect the players to go ahead and tell the truth to Tasim right a head LOL
so more people see it the alt route instead of the
super secrect route that it was suppose to be
Who doesn't spam any possible option until dialogue repeats tho
We all do
Ig they've never given us loopable dialogue either
so I would not expect much from the alt route
the team already ahve too much work with the main story
||consider how there still stuff missing in the final release||
Clock mistery is still unsolved
Epilogue
it was supposed to be symbolic of tasims choices
the way he sort of is on both sides
the choice between helping the player and opposing fruma, or joining the crown
is it just me or highlands is weirdly a bad mix of different cultural references, mexican, indian and japanese?
yeah
like, the tacos model seems based on the nonmexican tacos, the ones you would find at tacobell or american tacos
I always thought of Tasim as kind of similar to the player's Character
It's pretty neat to know that given the right circumstances, the roles between us could be reversed
Tasim’s better, we are trash
idk seems like the mix is not implemented as good as i would think, at least from the mexican inspiration
mexico is not even close
I dont see where you get the mexico part from
yeah mexico is in oceania
is it just taco?/
what gives
I'm an asian and I'd say that Fruma feel very asia
fish tacos, and cuisine, also some things ingame
yeah, overall fruma feels very asia, but like that gastronomy inspo seems out of place
in that case
IDK where the taco from but like it just one small part of the gmae so I dont really mind it
It's like the woc and cow thing
yeah i know, but i got to overture of despair and asked tacos bc it seems weird
It was a whole ass fish in the beta
a fish named taco
i feel like is gringos jokes? idk feels like when gringos says "pizza margarita" to an italian and think is funny (happened to a friend)
If there are mexican influences then I would have liked them to be a lot more prevalent tbh
yeah, like it feels out of place
Like I can sorta see it in the architecture but not really
dernel jungle fits better in terms of mesoamerica, but like thats just a part of mexico (and central america)
Some places like Selva lacandona (lacandona jungle) are just like dernel in terms of ecology
aridoamerica doesn't fit anywere
Azael kinda looks like every single old navajo guy I've ever met so there is that
Kinda off topic tho
i think they just wanted to do tacos
asia is not intended to have mexican influence as far as i know
yeah, like also that seems weird considering that almuj exist and it has also asian references
and didn't really think about the implications
some parts of asia have a lot, for example philipines
thats spanish influence
also mexican influence
we exchanged so many stuff, dishes included
I mean, Almuj is based on a pretty different part of Asia than Fruma is
Rymek is cowboy central and I kinda want that expounded on more
almuj could be easily aridoamerica, especially considering that rymek is close in terms of references
I'm still disappointed in fruma because there was no place, japan
This is like "they're putting stuff in the water to make the frogs big" all over again
As someone who doesnt like fish the thought of eating this makes my want to kill myself
First they’d have to make rymek worth visiting instead of galloping to neesak and gavel like the majority of players nowadays seem to do
I'll take Mongolian influences over that everday
almuj feels out of place honestly, dernel could be somehow justified but like almuj is too far
selchar feels like the caribean
Theres cherry blossoms in highlands
Wynn was not really designed with realistic cultural spread in mind
yeah, also some references
yes, i can see, but like, some references are so dispersed that feels weird
Actually yeah why are we talking about this not everything has to be about the irl
Japan doesn't exist in wynncraft
in most games that has lore related to something like a culture is usually tied with much more uniformity
Guys loose regional influences don’t mean they have to match the geographical area exactly as earth
we know that Fruma is asian inspired by just looking at Zhiraok story alone
my point was that something mexican felt out of place where the province is supposed to have mostly asian references
Orphions crew is pulling up
Samsam already point otu that the fish taco suppose to be a meme reference
Almuj and Rymek are like that because its essentially a pastiche of all the traditional desert tropes
it not meant to be geniune nod to Mexico
i feel like old wynn era was a disaster in terms of map distribution
the best example is river system
is like, horrible
is not a big deal, but it feels so weird to look at the map
I more meant people calling almuj weird
The rymekian people are gonna be thirsting for blood after seeing fruman fish tacos
it feels out of place in terms of culture, because it lacks connection to the whole province
it feels like another province
I disagree tbh but I’ll explain it later
it was
I think Almuj suppose to be saracen
consider how Wynn suppose to be medival theme
Almuj is vaguely Medieval Arab but also vaguely Egyptian
that is an interesting term to use
i dont think its racist but its certainly archaic
The word "Saracen" ( SARR-ə-sən) was commonly used in medieval Europe to refer to a person who lived in or near what the ancient Romans knew as Arabia Petraea and Arabia Deserta. Its original meaning in Greek and Latin is not known with certainty. By the early medieval period, it had come to be associated with the Arabian tribes. Following the...
oh
I did not aware it was racist term
i dont think it is
I though it just how they were called in medival europe
And then Rymek/the canyon is an aridomerica cowboys v Indians setup
it is what arabs were referred to in medieval europe
yeah, is kinda weird
but its not a term thats been used for at least 200 years
like the desert and mesa deservse some tweaks
Damn they have those fits on tho
It’s like when I was called a slur that hasn’t seen use since 1800s from one of my customers and I was just more confused than offended
as an aside, the distribution of guns in Wynn is interesting
Fruma circa 100 ap typa shit
TBH I think
the gun distribution in Wynn look godd
cause back then they thouhg
Medival = no guns
which is not the case
guns existed in medieval era tho
No, like where has them and where doesn't have them
that done 0 research and just want to make a game
so most of the thing you see in Wynn are mostly the product of those time
yeah, wynn province should have some tweaks in geografical formations, i love what they did to MT wynn
where wynncraft is not take that seriously
People use bows and arrows bc they're more magically alterable then guns and bullets
world buildiong like Fruma scale is not even close to what they think when they first work on Wynncraft
nesaak could be the place where water comes and gets to all wynn, considering that is full of magic
story during those time is just a context to give reason to the gameplay
generate bullets through magic or smth
could be elemental too
and river system could be tweaked according to that
I like to think that guns just more easier to use compare to magic
becuase rmeember you need education to use magic
and probably trainning and stuff
compare to guns that probably take less time
or/and talent
also not everyone is good with guns, they have their specifications
It will never be as good as "I'll simply just put as many Arrows on my bow as possible and still hit every target perfectly" rex
some cultures have more experience with them too
and more history with certain types of guns
Guns at a roughly early twentieth century level are prevalent in Fruma, the Creden Tibus have Wild West style guns, and Corkus has pretty much modern guns. Cannons are relatively common everywhere, though.
that girl is just a beast with a bow
she could be blindfolded and hit a moving target
it WAYYY easier to deal with undead with a gun that undead that use magic
like I will be real
I just really have to leave this here.
The writing in Fruma is genuinely incredible and leaves me wanting more. It’s such a huge step up from a game that has Realm Of Light.
I feel so invested in each and every character, good or bad or even the side quests.
Like omg
also require materials that cannot be obtained everywhere
at least for undead with a gun, it probably dont know how to reload or very clumsy with its reload
magic is just more universal than guns
magic is around the whole wynn province
Thoughts on gikyo?
you can use magic in a lot of different ways in combat
like is easier to interact and get close to magic
It probably expensive but yeah
I actually am surprised Wynn doesn’t have too many guns but perhaps Fruma nor Gavel want them to have a lot
and guns just shoot stuff
byut it far more easier to replenish gunners than magic users
maybe with elementally infused bullets at most
because we also need to remember WYnn probince is a palce where battle often occur
so logistic must take into the factor
there's probably a supply chain argument against gun proliferation
but it's easier to get rid of gunners than mages too
fruma has guns but mostly because magic is a taboo for most ppl
and gavel has a lot of magic, the villagers are the ones using guns because they usually lack magical affinity
I love them, they were really fun to be around and (spoilers ahead) ||Deserved to die a slow and grueling death as their body froze from the inside||. Learning about each and every piece of them was so nice :D
It's not that they lack it, it's that they don't care to learn it
maybe only the Mesa and Corkus and Fruma have sulfur deposits or something
when do villagers use gun guns in gavel again?
they lack affinity, even if OoTG is fanservice, is explained
would explain why some bandits in rymek use guns
CRabs lore
is explained in some quests too
what were the affinity tiers?
dwarves were at the bottom right?
Idk why but this make me imagine us using a gun to save Orphion
like you just go in there and started blasting god
i genuinely do not remember villagers using non-cannon guns
Orcs Et Al., Dwarves, Humans, Villagers, Doguns, and Elves.
maybe its just been ages since i did Gavel
but like humans from fruma are different than others
I don't even think they have the kind of gun that isn't a cannot
i just wanted to say how wierd it was
cause humans seemed more magical than villagers
but if we base it on fruma that is
humans like the ones on eltom probably
also olms could probably be located between doguns and elves or higher than elves
It's bullcrap lore but explained in the magic university that the villager is just really lazy and never study their magic apart from individual like Captain Ragon
i seee
I think you can count on your fingers the number of villagers that we can see use magic in game
also villagers are kinda racist towards other species, especially magical ones
so it make sense that in their culture they don't like magic as much
They actually just hate anyone that look different from them
ex. the witch from Maltic or the girl who hate us because we are human
gavel is just the definition of the racist segregation
yea, like tfym humans are banned from making settlements
How do we beat the dark parasite possessing the god of Light?
Easy!
glock
what about the villagers making settlements in wynn, double standards much?
cannons are much easier than guns
ain't no bug survive these glocks
Send their asses back to the trading hall
nah bro, they are investing in emerald economy
yeah I find that weird too, they are pretty ass with their whole identity as a species revolve around hating other species 😭
a useful cannon requires a lot less skill to make than a ruthless gun
except my goat Seaskipper Captain though, he's great
you're forgetting the greed
yeah they are pretty greedy too, as seen in like a lot of quests involving war between them and other species
they didn't have the chance to genocide the orc but if they do, it would look like the doguns and dwarfs
i love him so much, also the villager that married a human
yeah they are carrying their entire species's reputation on their back
like most villagers we know are kinda...
insane
opinions on king of ragni?
he's chill
goated
he recognized us as a hero of wynn, and let us go to the fruma gate without any opposing
Villagers kinda suffer from being heavily involved in the side quests early game and heavily mid game, both of which don't have... the most nuanced writing ever lmao
So they're relegated to being the bumbling douches you see in jokey quests across many an MMO
It's funny to me that a lot of the villagers we met in the early games are good people, it's probably because they spend their time in wynn a lot or have been born here
the Gavel Villagers on the other hand
fuck the guy who we had to escort in the canyon of the lost
Yeah he's an ass 😭
he even lied about us not helping him at the end of the quest
just a douchebag to the very end 😭
Whenever there's a gavel rereborn update I hope they add the much needed nuance to the villagers
yeah
rn most of them are pretty one dimensional apart from a few great people
Ragni King is a fascinating character that sadly gets so little. Hopefully in a revamped wynnex he can be explored
An adopted villager who became king of Ragni, which seems the most steady political force in wynn
He's a good king that care about his people, I love that he give us the title Hero of Wynn as one of the very last quest in wynn you do, it's really good
If we ever get Wynnex rework
I want Aledar to be here so it can make us feel more attached to him and make it feel like we're actual close friends
SE and Fruma moments lack a bit of impact because we just don't see Aledar and Tasim again throughout midgame and near lategame
I hate SE
Quests sucked
It feel rushed when I play through it
Only point of no return was bad imo and that was because the puzzles were bullshit
|| All our friends die. We lose connection with our soul then have to leave heaven. We commit terrorism on wynn ||
Glad that we are still with player's Character's soul and the terrorism was just visions
I don't like murdering Tasim and Aledar for the sake of a quest
Same. His ending was so sad. The dungeon was insanely difficult like 1B health wat
Wish I could lowk just kill them
moment like this just make me question why the player's Character have the murderous tendencies to kill threats but never the evil ones
What exactly are the “evil ones”
Whatchu mean
I feel like we’ve killed 9/10 of the super villains
the guy who control hundred of bandits soul on top of a mount in the Canyon of the Lost
Dunno who that is
Freedom of speech
I mean wasn’t the situation that he dropped the soul of the guy we were saving
And we prioritized grabbing that
yeah the quest detail is weird, i couldn't get back up here and save everyone by killing him?
he seem like a genuine threat if left unattended
Probably because we can’t attack them
why not?
I assumed that after we stopped him he got arrested
Because it’s an npc and not an enemy?
fanon ending
???
I'm talking as in Lore, why are you discussing in meta?
He doesn’t come back so he got taken care of in some way
Idk
Gavel Quest just randomly appear and never give a satisfying answer
Isn’t that like most of the quests?
There's a theme in Wynn and Fruma where sidequest connect up or at least give background lore or conclude better
Gavel's sidequest is just not doing that
Sometimes I kinda like that
I mean most of the gavel quests my bad
Like the player can’t be everywhere and he eventually moves on
Well, Gavel has a bigger problem with that than most quest, because at times is they feel like they could be more important than they actually are (the Air Temple quest is a big one) or have the ability for a follow up quest that never gets met, which makes it unsatisfying
there's a decent bit of random powerful bullshit in Gavel
that never gets followed up on
which is?
Which one
we played through the game right?
why are we even asking which one now xd
Which one you referring to?
most of them?
i mean i can think of an example like the soul quest from above
The one with death that makes respawning canon, I have talked about this a few days ago, but it feels like it should be important, I mean your character dies for goodness sakes, which should be saved for a more important moment in the story if they are going to that, you dying should be a big moment
Fair enough
beyond the grave, aforementioned soul guy, lowkey qira
It feels kinda lackluster
No one in this community even accept it as canon as well xd
For me my interpretation is that player's Character ( or at least my Character ) have foresight and everytime we die, that's the vision of a future we lost
fair
the cowfusion cows, until recently General's orders
We have plot armor
Qira having no lore relevancy yet being bullcrap powerful
hang on am i just listing COTL quests
I’ve heard they’re gonna revisit that quest anyways
or a familiar Spark within us
Why does qira need a follow up?
good, it kinda needs revisting
We are way to strong to TRULY die
Qira need a little bit more relevancy is what he meant I think
She just exist and is a slave owner
I feel like that would kinda ruin the mystery they seem to have intended for her
Not everything needs a follow up
Like I said, it should be big moment in the story if we die, and how we get revived should make more sense rather than a cop-out, make what ever is in us revive us, or have Lari revive us with her magic she used on the Grootworm
As if lari is still with us
Speaking of
Where did she actually go
She’ll come back in Dern don’t worry gang
Realm of Dark
Which we don't know how that look like yet
How could she possibly be alive in there
We survived SE
I doubt she would die in here, the rule of writting is that you never kill an important character off screen
Dern, she followed Bak'al into a portal to Dern, and from what I interpret about any dialogue after that moment, she is likely still alive, as killing a seemingly important character of screen (AKA Fridging) would just feel bad
I imagine we’ll probably meet her and Bob there
How is she not dying to the creatures there if she refuses to kill them
also you never know, the Dern beast could find some use for her alive, such as a way to experiment on the light
Realm of Dark raid with bob, Lari and us is just cinema
Genuinely
We need a fourth for the canon raid number
how did she survive before? pacifying them and avoiding danger
Did you play ROL?
You play the game sleeping??
after RoL 4 she learnt that sometime killing is necessary
She literally said that she found bak'al deserve to die and intending on killing him
No I didn’t
oh
???
Brother 😭
bruh
Why are you even talking in here, ROL is quite literally one of the very important questline in the game
Did you even do the NoL raid? xd
You missed her first actual fight where she’s putting hands on bakal
I don’t play raids
Like, you NEED to do RoL to get into Fruma, it important for like every other story questline in the game
Oh I thought you meant the raid my bad lol
oh, few
Even though it was an “even” fight for most of it, it’s kinda funny that Bakal got defeated by someone who has literally never seriously fought until him
Sorry gng
your good
She literally have zero combat skills and still wooping Bak'al ass
fraudkal continues to be proven
I mean she is powerful, but I have heard a theory that he threw the fight just to capture her
I think just extract wynncraft content as much as you can, discussing lore in here assume you already know all of the baseline important lore context in the game so
I doubt it, he’s the type where if he could kill her he would’ve
Capturing her won’t give an inherent advantage
He said it himself
I mean he even escape fighting a human on even ground, I genuinely don't believe this guy can have any more motive than going back to mommy Saphanis and cry
xd
Also to be fair, Bak'al's first appearance was in the RoL questline if I remember correctly
Yeah it’s fair to say he genuinely got beat or at the least recognized he wasn’t built for just murdering her outright
Then he fled and cried for dern
Well, Bob is a half-human, half-Olm, but still less powerful that a Scion
We haven't seen him win against any fights that are on even ground yet
most of his wins are against random citizens around detlas
true
I doubt he even able to beat cluckus on rooster island
bro is a coward, or he could be a mastermind who plots way ahead of everyone else, but VERY unlikely
Even though he can probably beat Theorick it’s still funny in AHC that he had to make a subordinate do it
maybe, but yeah it is funny that he refuses to put himself in any actual danger, and he is supposed to be this massive big bad capable of destroying civilizations
I think he's the type that is just rely on being bigger than the weaker person and bully them
but when someone who is equal to him he just ran
Bakal needs to do a thragg-esque turnaround
me when i'm in a settler colonialism competition and my opponent is the villagers:
When you think about it technically the villagers still “own” almuj
It would be cool to see him as a villain who turns out to just seek power at any cost, rather than follow beings who are more powerful without question, because unlike the Realm Beast who are evil out of nature, Bak'al is just evil for the love of the game
xd
He IS an opportunist who seek for more power at any cost, that is true
Anathema wants him death and ask us to kill him if we do meet
Bakal is going to gain 10000+ aura if he actually backstabs the Dern beast
huh?
I imagine that if he does, we will walk into the Dern Beasts boss room, and we just see it's already dead with Bak'al standing in front of its corpse
Seems a bit far fetched
I think it's more us defeating Saphanis but Bak'al land the killing blow
Wynnex
yeah it is far fetched, just something that looks cool in my head
that's more likely
They removed the last mayor and installed their own
Yeah I imagine it’s post our fight with Dern beast if he ever DID
huh?
I think we're getting into the fanfiction area now if we keep discussing something that won't come in the next 5 years xd
It feels a bit funny that this is like the only canon moment in the entire quest, Ragni could also be canon though
A hunters calling, did you play it?
That's normal for me when I like something that isn't complete story wise, I just imagine future events because I like making stories (even thinking about an AU for wynncraft)
There’s a part where they show us how the Wynnex company expanded and one way was just outright taking over almuj
I did make one, I think you have read it?
I know
ah, haven't done ahc since like 2022
I'm pretty experience with making fan AU because I was an undertale fan
xd
Yeah well basically Wynnex kinda just took it over and we never saw what ended up happening
well, supposedly facts on the ground didn't really change that much according to the wiki
i thought everything in AHC was hypothetical, not real?
also, I don't think Wynnex is representative of the Gavellian states
Guys a dumb question but the only thing after the raid is the ||tasim|| dialog? I felt like theres something missing?
huh? oh yeah I forgot that detail came from AHC
so then it IS hypothetical, because it's just a vision the dern drug dealer give us
there isn't something your missing right now, anything else hasn't been added yet unfortunately
Oh so nothing about the aftermath
Probably just wait for CT to cook up post raid dialog
Thanks!
They likely aren’t but I originally mentioned it when people asked which places villagers have influence in
It’s a hypothetical in the results but technically it’s like a flashback as to how they got influence in the first place
we should be able to help the orcs conquer Llevigar
Don't do that, thinking of that is canon make every other details from AHC basically become canon which they are not
Don't make selective acceptance of what is canon in a confirmed hypothetical
xd
It’s not confirmed that part is hypothetical
It's confirmed that every part in the visions are hypothetical
I can't be more clear with you
Do you have a screenshot of that
No??
Ok so how do you know
It also makes little sense if it was hypothetical cuz it just kinda makes sense? Like we see how they influenced Wynn outside of AHC
They’re legit a shadow organization
I'm talking as in you are selectively accepting a part of the vision as true
which is WEIRD as hell, because what stopping me from just taking in all the smallest detail that have big consequences like the almuj vision
they asked and the mayor let it
Where is that stated
It's not like the mayor know anything about the crystals
ARE CORKUS PEOPLE FRUMANS????
They needed him gone so they can get permission
Yes
yes they are
I KNEW IT
They revealed it eons ago
I thought to myself soosu would LOVE corkus
That wasn’t meant to be mean
She probably would
like when i first saw soosu i was like OMGG
It’s just like, they told you about it in corkus
yeah i think so?
Soosu would love it
She would dismantle the factory though
are there any traces of fruma lore in corkus?
Relos library
some, mostly in the Corkus library
I’m still convinced that was entirely done because of the memes about the island
what, the secret discovery?
The Fruma ARG event
okay, yeah I remember now
what is South of Roughworks/Mistwoods
the wastelands
oh fun
Hey so ive been running WTP a few times now to see all of big red angry moths dialogue. It seems when you ask her about the connections she reveals that they "manipulated" them open the second time. This made me instantly think back to taproot where we see that the Elves cut down the original Guardian of the Forest because of a "miscommunication" from Orphion. I so believe now it was all manipulation to get the connections reestablished.
But i could be stupid and missing something lol
which dialogue branch is this
I might hjave to reread them again LOL
post raid dialogue is so expansive
2 LEs per dialog branch 😔
that's very cheap
billionaire and a working class looking at the same car
Nah this is a pretty common theory nowadays for exactly the reasons you've given
Does someone have that one timeline doc
we have more info about Alumia
Llevigar jsut vague rn
but it depend
Alumia likely very censored by Fruma
but llevigar also
it depend on what you want to study for tbh
but I think Alumia likely have more budget
I would think that Alumia would be better for the arts and sciences, while Llevigar would be better for magic and history
if you succeed in the run you almost always get that back
Ah ill have to replay it again. I think you ask her "what were you doing?", i've noticed theres a couple options that lead to the same outcome and i know theres a second option that leads to the connections option.
Orphion works in mysterious ways
Was Orphion ever proud of what Her's majesty accomplished
No bro is kinda evil
Hey guys found this in the basement of the wartorn palace entrance. Got out of my second completion and one of the usually locked side doors was open. Ran down some stairs and found this door, if interacted with all 5 runes it says the lock weakens for a second and then returns in full. Any ideas?
What exactly are the Gallehaut enemies that appear in the Royal Alchemists world event & the raid?
Are they Gendarme variants or some sort of giant golem?
hubert (beloved)
Not if you can solo world events
The real struggle is actually winning the raid
They look like automatons I wouldn't be surprised if it was some sort of soosu project
that's wynn outside of the SE
Is their any new content or dialogue in the festival
So the queen gave parts of her potential away to empower the sovereigns
enough to give us a chance
I suppose she's "lesser" but hey that means the gods too are limited
If they can bleed, then we can get rid of them, surely?
There is going to be orphion betrayal
Can't wait for orphion's nexus of light 2 raid
pardon my confusion but isnt ragni APART of the wynn united command alliance?
and isnt troms allied to them?
So canonically did the player do the raid with Tasim Sui and Zeph?
Is that how I’m supposed to interpret it
Then who did player do the other raids with in canon I wonder
Isn’t there dialogue about bringing friends when you unlock them
Or am I misremembering from old content
for NoL
Surely Aledar talks about bringing other soldiers with you in the eldritch outlook
Yeah I think he does
EO was designed to feel like a proto raid before raids iirc
No one mentions TNA do they?
I don’t think it has a quest that ties to it
You just finish A Journey Further and you can do it without anyone talking about it
I think we solo grootslang aswell
there*
Lari just walks away
not really besides aster having a dialogue portrait now
I like the idea of them lowkey implying that you did the raids with NPCs since they’re designed to be impossible alone
I wouldn’t hate it if they go back and do that with the other ones
I wonder if this means we'll get an Aledar portrait relatively soon
troms is allied but given how you are not welcome through their tunnel, they are a separate state
I would imagine portraits would go to early game content first so that new players get the best experience
That’s how they usually do it no?
Yes... But I don't think zeph would survive with all those saws and atomic bombs during that boss fight
If they rewrite and rework everything to be of Fruma quality it’ll be so gas
Especially the important quest lines like NoL
It was jarring but in a really good way to come back for Fruma and have the writing be suddenly way less cringe
idk he was frying in some of the last few quests
If Rex can hold it down against Tasim alone with no magic then Zeph might be a monster
Oh yeah I didn't consider that
Crazy how he and especially Sui grow in strength even faster than John Wynncraft
I do not believe that Ragni is, given that the rest of wynn considers you a ragni recruit as opposed to a detlas soldier.
Can you tell Tasim yet?
there seemed to be one part where you were gonna be able to but there was no option. I heard it was unimplemented for now. Is that true or do you get the chance to tell him later?
Not yet, will be added later
As in you'll be able to tell him early on? That kind of changes the story no?
You should be able to tell him in the first quest, near its end, but I don't know if and how it will change the story, at least that much
What name do i state at the wooden door during "The strong survive?"
Well him being angry at you for not telling him is kind of ||what pushes him over the edge later on|| so I'd be curious how they can implement that
True, ||I do think he will stay with the queen, but the final Apotheosis interaction will certainly change||
Even if you know the answer you have to find all the papers anyway
oh crap its ||niren||???
i got the papers in my first playthrough but didnt know i had to say his name
whats behind the door
In terms of powerscaling is the player post-Fruma just completely busted now
In terms of things we’ve canonically beaten solo we’ve dealt with literally everything in the province minus the Queen
||The only Sovereign we beat solo was Majin , and maybe Gikyo, and we beat the Queen the first time Solo, and each one we beat was killed by someone else or escaped so only kinda busted||
||i mean tbf majin is kinda canonically the most powerful sovereign||
||if we can beat majin solo we can beat any of them solo||
||Yeah fair, but he also just exploded in the end of the fight by gaining to much cosmic power, we didn't really "defeat" him||
who named the characters in the strong survive
who is the absolute gigachad on CT who named a background NPC Verdi
Arnol, why
is this a reference to THE Giuseppe Verdi
Wasn’t the Queen a forced loss
Or like, forced loss cutscene
Yeah, but it is canon, and we didn't completely loose, ||we broke her mortal shell, but that was with the help of Rex||
more like ||rex took the final shot||
||yeah most of rex's contribution was saving us rather than harming the queen||
Still not Queen level though
Tbh I was kinda mad that there was a forced loss I hate those things
Deltarune did it better where you can technically physically overcome it given enough retries
I wonder who named the characters Halbe and Katze
it felt like a very ai generated quest im ngl
idk what these are referencing
;sob
😭
