Now here's a bold statement I'm going to say. ||I think some of the things Anathema says about the Beasts should be taken with a little grain of salt. Specifically stuff about their plans and motivations.

She has the most reason out of literally anyone to paint them in as bad a light as possible, and I'd like to think that the story is developing nuance.

I know a lot of people are going "Wow they both are evil! Prepare your pitchforks!", but I think there's something we don't know about their motivations.

A lot of stuff I'm fine taking at face value because she's the only source for now, like the Beasts probably have hated each other forever and want to spread their influence, she's stopped them from doing stuff, etc. but I don't think that's their entire motivation.

She very specifically only came into existence after they started fighting, and I don't think she's ever actually talked to them?(At least not very much) and I'm sure there's some secondary goal they have, that'll make them more complex then "rahh expand and destroy everything"||

• Portal opened by elves, causing corruption and darkness to open as well
• Shortly after, parasite is sent to Gavel and Olm are destroyed by Dern
• Wynn shit goes on etc etc Bak’al is somehow blessed by Anathema
• Bak’al Bob arc occurs, at the end of which Bak’al finds their way to Dern
• Anathema finds their way into the physical plane and becomes the monarch of Fruma||
