i attempted a full rewrite of A Journey Beyond. I loved the original quest, but wanted to add some things on my own, primarily including:

• knowledge of The Eye at the beginning of the quest, building it up to be the big bad of the storyline quest
• backing from an established institution (Grookwarts) as opposed to an independent group going into SE
• not a total party kill at the entrance - while it goes a great job at showcasing the danger of the SE, it makes the members of the group look like amateurs, when they should put up at least a bit of a fight

I'm curious what other people's favourite quests were I've only done one full playthrough where I paid attention to the quests and I've retreaded the early quests a few times but I'm struggling to come up woth a best quest/questline

I think the dogun questline was probably one of the best imo

some of the corkus quests got a bit boring on my second profile but I liked any quest there that didn't have the growth accelerator

temple of legends is a fun cumulative quest where you revisit a bunch of places I could def see it getting annoying on like a 5th playthrough

gameplay-wise I think a hunters calling was great despite it not really having much lore implications beyond more bak'al backstory + seeing the dern beast use the corruption as a weapon but its still in the realm of a what-if scenario

siegfried is also a stand out quest that brings up mysteries and has a cool easter egg if you keep siegfried alive
