They'd have to pretty heavily retool the tutorial area if they wanted to do that too. It just doesn't work in both directions and the spatial features of Wynncraft's world are already wonky enough. At least with the gate being there you can say you took a long sail over there in order to arrive, rather than travelling across a small tutorial zone and boom, Fruma is right there.

An unknown entity has been spotted near the Gates of Corruption, until they are confronted by the Player. They do not attack, using smoke bombs to try and escape. When they do, they leave behind a report regarding the Wynn Province.

What does the first report mean for our info on Fruma?

• Fruma has a large spy network within Wynn, monitoring the recruitment program initialized in 900 AP.
• Between 995 AP and 1000 AP, Fruma had sent 1,759 recruits to Wynn, of which, 60% “followed programming”. Does this mean 60% continue to serve in the Wynn military? 60% still follow the brainwashing?
• Fruma is actively monitoring both the undead and Corruption, using some unknown metric to calculate corruption spread and undead numbers. They conclude the situation in the Wynn province is relatively stable, though the “?” could indicate this may not be the entire truth.

Three other Royal Reports have been discovered, of which, only Reports Two and Three have actually been found, the Second only theoretical.

What does the third report mean for our info on Fruma?

• Fruma is aware not only of the Light Portal’s opening at the end of RoL Part 4, but of the halting of the Decay, events which happened very recently in the timeline.
• The report notes the “Scion” has vanished. Could this be their name for the Parasite? Could this be Lari?
• “Scion” is a synonym for “heir” or “successor”
• Another report documents findings which could be related to the halting of the Decay, though nothing of this report is known
• The Fruman spy reporting here seems to not entirely know what the near future of Gavel will be, due to all of these major events caused by an unknown variable.

What does the fourth report mean for our info on Fruma?

• Despite the efforts of the Corkian government to hide ongoing conflicts on their island, Fruman spies have been able to accurately report on the Factory incident and on Corkian-Avo relations, even reporting on activities of the Corkian Patriots, calling them “Separatists”
• The spies, however, do not know why the Separatists have had a lack of activity, guessing they may have gone into hiding
• A Sovereign “S” is noted as being interested in the Electromagical advancements made by Corkus over the last ~150 years, noting a previous report that may have gone into further detail on Electromagic
• Sovereign “S” could be Selium, who was mentioned by the Llevigar Library Archivist. From what we know, Selium was sent by the Queen of Fruma in 900 AP to formally begin the Recruitment program with the King of Ragni.
• If “S” is Selium, then it confirms they are over 100 years old, an unnaturally long life span for a human
• The nature of the Sovereign’s interest in Electromagic remains unknown at this time

Regarding this big report:

• Fruma is taking closer note of the Corruption than even Wynn is. While the general atmosphere in Wynn is that the Corruption is not as bad as it was before the arrival of Bob, Fruma notes the Corruption is slowly getting worse, and the recruitment program, while still holding on, might not be able to in the near future.
• The second point of the report is censored, but from what little context we get, it could be an explanation as to why Corruption is getting stronger. Maybe it has to do with Bob’s disappearance, or Bak’al’s return at the end of RoL Part 5?
• The third point of the report is that Fruma believes the emergence of Annihilation was inevitable due to “the incident fifteen years ago” (985 AP). In 985 AP, Annihilation emerged for the second recorded time, and it took much of Wynn’s militias to force it back into the Corruption Portal. How this previous appearance made Annihilation’s presence an “inevitability” remains unknown. Regardless, they consider Annihilation a “complication” in their report.
• The fourth point of the report is Gavel’s halting of the Decay. The Fruman spies did not expect anything like this to happen, nor do they know exactly how the Decay was halted. This confirms that Fruma does not know of the existence of the Parasite, and that “Scion” refers to Lari. This is the first time the Player is mentioned as being seen with the “Scion”, and it is probable this is the first time the Player landed on the radar of the Fruman spy network.

• the player sort of soloes Raids. it's this sort of superposition; the concrete mechanics of Raids are halfway between lore and game, and there's nobody else around, so they're simultaneously doing Raids alone and in a party. i think Orphion only acknowledges you and not your party in NoL, you aren't observed by any people in NotG and TNA, and in TCC there's Astal but they don't talk at all

so like practically speaking, nobody's observing you during Raids

which is significantly more believable than 1000 years btw (the corruption took like 3 years to get past a couple hundred meters? even by trench warfare standards that's pretty bad, but 20 days is better)

why can't we just make this real it's better than the alternative we just need people to have miserable lifespans
