I dont think Tasim wondering about Fruma 24/7
so we probably will see him in Gavel else where doing his thing
wahtever his thing is
Deep down he is
His whole travel to Gavel is to suppress these thoughts
I mean yeah that mean his whole thing going there would be about suppress his thoughts LOL
that like saying someone who got trauma from surviving car accident is to watching complication of car crashing
beside why would Cinfras has things about Fruma like
the reason llevigar even has info about fruma is due to Ragni King donated the infromation betwene fruma and wynn treaties
because as the liberian describe
"Fruma is very skillful at keeping its secrets."
I mistook the two libraries
not really
it literally is why you would want to go place to suppress though if you only going to feed into said thought unless he doing exposure therapy'
Curiosity is the devil, some actions are beyond you. With Fruma he can learn, if he got in a car accident, what's there to learn
But now that I know which library is which I agree
then IDK why would he expect to find info about Fruma in Gavel actively
I feel like there some disconnection in the line of logic I am missing here
also I doubt he'd expect Fruma info anyway because it's the "villager" province
literally like
Ah yes a province with literally 0 relation or near distance to the province I am looking to educate myself on
when there literally a province that not only near Fruma
but ALSO have interaction with them
yeah corkus is right there
and have entire population ancestry that can be trace all the way back to Fruma
Corkus is not obvious guess if you are a person in universe
tho if you learn bit more about human history, you would be easily enough to connect the dots
so the obvious place would be in WYnn
like literally if I am like a person
in the universe of wynncraft
like a living breathing person
wynn probably the most obvious choice like heck ther eliteral fruman recruit running around
like yeah they kinda
got memory wipe but it's something
if I was in wynn I'd keep bugging people for info
tell me your LIFE story random person I met
I know there are hidden details
waiting for picard to make a new orb and start using it on people
he'd not be expecting it nor following it closesly... that's the entire point. It's something that would've caught his attention. and I already agreed
How did Wynn Excavation learn about the crystals in Wynn if they were hidden? Do we have any information on that or is it just something not elaborated on?
the crystals have huge temples built around them so they were known at least at some point, and weren't really hidden, more just lost and well protected.
i think someone idk who said the crystals will be tied in more to the lore with revamps so you'll know how they fit in more
Only the Yellow and Green Crystals technically
Wynnexcavation is getting revamped eventually
Blue is behind a giant door I recall, but yeah Red only has small ruins around it with no clear larger structure, though it's possible the excavators already demolished most of it to get to the crystal
Purple*
But yeah asides from that one door it just seems to be in a cave
The only other man-made stuff is the WynnEx scaffolding
The legendary kidney stone
Not sure why WynnEx would demolish the rest of the stuff leaving no architcture behind though
That doesn't make sense
Was there an explanation as to why the flerisi trees are different on upper heights vs lower heights
red flame vs blueflame
Hotter down below
I’m assuming the flerisi tree’s in the lower heights are blue
Because that would make way more sense
oh gosh is that what those were
I had no idea I thought those were random blue stuff to look cool
How did silverbull company manage to set up a lootrun camp in lutho if the expedition in a journey beyond is the first to go in the silent expanse in centuries
the player sets it up
Go to the headquarters and ask them about SE, there’s a dialogue option
if you're too lazy
they say that they don't have one here
implying it's a monster silverbull cosplayer
What do you guys think of quests that knock you out at some point?
I feel like most of them take me out of the story, even if they're mostly comedic
With Hollow Serenity it at least makes some sense
It's just weird when player once stops an army or a cataclysm and then gets knocked out by a random guy from the bar
Unless it’s by people who are as strong as you currently are I agree
There are others who are on your level of strength, so if it’s them I don’t have a problem with it
yeah that's why I don't have that much problem with Garvan, he emanates ominous energy and when he got killed we see that a powerful spirit lies within him
There’s only a few scenarios in which us being knocked out or overpowered makes no sense, considering the expected power level we’re at.
That’s the GG quest, the 4 Ogres, and a lot of the bandit related interactions.
Everything else is pretty explainable as a power imbalance
4 ogres?
I don't remember that one
also misadventure on the sea
that quest is after we kill the king of the underworld, destroy a time powered sanctum, and destroy a massive spiders nest (though underworld & infested pit are cannonicaly with help, to be fair to the quest)
When did we get knocked out in Timelost Sanctum
huh
I don't think you understood
I mean that we're powerful at this point
These are some pretty bad pirates as well
the only quest where you interact with ogres is the maiden tower and sherk never KO's you
Orc’s, mb lol
We’re, supposedly, drunk with them, at the time, since we just had a lil drink at the bar
Makes it a lot easier to justify it
I’d imagine we’d kick their asses, but we don’t cause they’re basically a non-threat
Why waste time punching twigs when it’s better saved on real threats, like a giant ass rat
Fair ig, though the player must have some weak head if 1 bottle gets him tied up
It's also proven by us scaring the sea monster off which they can't do anything about
Could’ve been more, since we don’t exactly know how much time has passed with them, but I’d imagine the alcohol content of Nemract whisky would be enough to sedate a horse. Look how insane the nausea is on one pot
pretty sure we drink one at the bar and then nothing
hornip says he can't sail and when you notice the other ship he knocks you out
might be misremembering though
Seems like a pretty expected scenario to succeed in knocking us out. We’re probably off guard, relaxed, tipsy, whatever
Not to mention it’s not about how hard you hit somebody, but how you hit them. There are very specific nerve endings that, when held, or knocked just right, will just up and stop blood flow entirely.
bob trips and gets killed by a random farmer
Yknow, considering how Bob fought for more than a century, I’m surprised he was never really caught off guard in his sleep, or he didn’t just let himself die, after being consistently on guard and never taking a moment to rest
it's also always a point that we are heavy armoured (also for gender ambiguity)
That's what the training was for
I imagine he was like a cat after all of it
Never fully asleep
Always ready
To kill
Cats have the excuse of dying after a decade, though. Bob was alive for a really long time
120 years old at the time of his death I think?
Can someone gimme the whole lore spiel about Skien
spiel not short summary
wiki has good info on him
general skien page
paranoid but well-respected troms military general who believed magic was evil. when villagers, who used magic prominently, came to live in wynn and started moving to troms, he pulled every tromsian military person with him, or else killed them, and sailed off to an island to build a stronghold. his mental faculties and paranoia continued to deteriorate and intensify, resulting in an unsuccessful escape attempt and rebellion that ended up with Skien as the only survivor. the corrupt ghost of a traitor that used to be in his army but broke ranks and compleyely broke his trust in others tailed him to the island and started raising the dead, and he died there terrified and out of his mind. when he was raised, he had just enough stubborn fortitude to dedicate himself to purging all the undead on the island even though he too is corrupted and that willpower is maintained to this day
it's kinda old lore so some stuff might contradict or be strange with current corruption effects
Strange that Skien is characterized as hating magic, when Wynn was basically catered around it to survive. Biggest examples being the Twain’s
Or, idk, Bob lol
Is it ever explained as to why he hates magic specifically?
nope, though i do personally have an idea as to why it's v much post-hoc
I hope he gets a quest in the future
or at least something not obscure
But yeah Skien sure is
a character
(As in, personality)
i love the voice acting for revenant of skien in voices of wynn
really shows the insanity
I do really like the fact we’re shown the potential of sacrificial, “dark” magic in Wynn, with a potentially interesting boss altar catered around the tortured soul of Skien
(Too bad Skien’s fight is really bad lol)
it's not that bad
That’s a personal hope for a rework for me
You’re right, 3 heavy charges into heavy explosion isn’t bad at all
troms so far has the best bosses in the game
Is you crazy
no
VERY debatable
Slykaar is fine
great bridge to jungle where troms is
However, there are 3 mid ass jungle boss altars that are screaming their name rn
I’d consider it its own separate thing, though. It’s the great bridge’s boss
matryosha isn't an altar
Ik
Grand Magus, Tribal Zombie, Skien
All boring af bosses, and never do anything interesting
ohh yeah
oh so he's not racist asf he just hates magic
forgot about magus
it's both
My point exactly, because I’ve done the altar like 10 times and still don’t remember it at all
ehhh little of column a little of column b
Idk what it even does, lol, it dies so fast
one can turn into another
Don’t worry, he hates them just as much as magic
I'd argue skien is the most unique old system boss, at least
Ig it is, since it’s got stages, and a progressively ramping mechanic
But, like, it’s got some of the worst spells in the game
charge is the most promiment but he does have a lot of fakeouts and gets progressively more aggressive
Like, actually genuinely horrible spells to fight against
Explosion always sucks, fr
at least he doesn't hate them for greed he's original
his spells consist of charge, multihit, arrow storm, their heavy variants, and vanish
does not contain explosion
i overall like nesaak/troms area a lot
theorick is also a pretty nice boss, reincarnation is the most hype quest in the game
Ig I misremembered multi hit into charge as an explosion, but multi hit is horrible too
he fakes out the multi hit too
Honestly there is a humor of skien, the racist character exist in the jungle
(Actually, a majority of the old spells are not good at all, with hindsight lol)
weird lol.. from what I gathered he felt kinda like a racist who wanted to kill off the villagers and prevent them from coming to Wynn lol
We love the new system
Which
skien in his rework will use boltslinger, fallen and riftwalker
Skiens better just be a suped up Tasim fight in elemental exercise, with more and more fallen potential throughout
I also remember that, because I was using morph hive and sucked
nop . 11 more phases for you .
Then I used tstack fshot and wiped him lol
fallen does fit skien a lot
It was the flaming ground constant damage and Aledars constant attacks that fked me over.. I tried killing him first but I couldn’t lol
revenant of skien is a corrupted ghost version of him, which is literally just fallen
What if you… wanted a long, progressively ramped fight, but Wynn said:
11 phase charge into multihit
I do agree that Skien's fight is kinda just not great rn, but if I were to redo him I'd want to maintain most of his plausibly physical attacks rather than giving him any kind of spell maneuvers
as thats why those spells were chosen
give him attacks with heavy tells like the rickeo fly up one where he deals 90% of your hp
Oh, totally, Skien’s should remain that at all times. It’s part of why the fight has a unique premise at all
there's a decent few spells that could be played up as physical attacks or weapons
meteor -> Throw An Explosive (At Your Face)
Tbh I don’t dislike the fight I just think the lore is too ignored and not important enough
144p
It’s why I specifically mentioned EE Tasim instead of AHC Tasim, since that fight is very specifically orientated around the first 4 warrior abilities, which are all very melee centric skills (besides war scream)
specifically cause a rapid volley of arrows, a lunge and crash, and a flurry of blows are attacks that one could plausibly do physically rather than magic- the only reason he gets vanish in his later phases is cause the Revenant is literally a ghost
Are the jungle natives actually olm descendants?!
ok.. u got me worried for a sec I was like.. how did I miss that
I like the jungle tribesmen, they’re nice people, and are very kind to the Wynn humans
it's refreshing when everyone just hates us off the bat
It would be cool if one of the tribes was olmic or smtn
Wynn Exc basically does that, though
but I think if I were to redo him I wouldnt do the 11 phases gimmick. Matryoshka Idol already does that well enough and it makes each phase too quick to get through
???
Huge ass ancient civilization under the temple with all the Olm in it?
That’s basically a tribe
Wynnex did not really do it since they just have some insane olm lock in ancient city or something
eh fair
when we getting Skien's Island quest and dungeon
I
we not
I don’t thjnk that a tribe
let's let side content be side content
Alright, it isn’t a tribe, but if you squint and tilt your head, you can see what I’m getting at
No
I am once again suggesting move skien's island to level 75 and add a quest and dungeon where the selchar marines want freedom of navigation in the Skien's Island area
oh
It literally just bunch of insane olm thst is remnant of the ancient city
I don’t thjnk they even function as society
there's 3 sane olm
Presumably
but they're in hiding and you can kill them anyways
Btw does anyone remember a version of the tutorial that had a lost dog and a house right off of the gate
TLS is debatable how sane he is lol
I mean
surely altar of sanctification could be made a little less secretive
I just wanna know if I’m going insane or not
Nah, I think it fits as one of the more secretive altars
Think Bovine Barn
?
Of course I do
I prefer if skien would be fought in his corrupted form instead of whatever the mumbo jumbo he is now like
We fighting a ghost of him than his husk??!
Or whatever??
Well, technically, we do fight him in his corrupted state
if you look top down there's a path going the other way from the gate behind the current cart
which leads to a house
that house
He’s just a total baby gaga in that form, and dies in 4 hits
You telling me a fucking Goliath is more threatening than husk of Skien
bovine barn is hidden away on an unassuming island and that's chill as a neat early game challenge
but AoS needs you to go to the middle of the ocean, dig around for some secret code, wander around a maze and fight a separate miniboss to go to an altar in the deep jungle
i dont think I'll make altars in the future with such secretive requirements as altar of sanctification in the future given the reception but i dont regret making it like that
Yeah, dude, it’s dope
and there's not much of any indication on how to go through all of those steps given that the entry item is Yellow Glass Pane
he's lv 70 boss strength its just player power creep is a Big Thing
Not ideal for multiple runs, but that initial discovery is, imo, an integral part of the fight
texture issue it's supposed to be a necklace
There are a lot of boss mobs that aren’t scaled yet, if I’m remembering correctly
I went up to lv 85
Smtn different
ok but reincarnation requires you to find 3 such items and a miniboss before you can get to the boss (no it's not a boss altar but it's kinda a boss altar with extra steps and a permanent unlock)
before I burnt tf out
I see, I knew CIB felt really bad
Not a problem, since it’s gonna all be reworked after fruma anyways
man. any opportunity to dig at that huh
I'd have to check
think the guy tells you at least a little bit about where to find the 3 animals
if reincarnation is fine surely AoS is alright
Ok when did it get removed… 1.19? Bc I started right after it released and the tutorial still had profs but I swear there was a lost dog entity that I first tried returning to its owner or something
not last i knew
Tbf, it’s very noticeable
well. .
what do you do in ct out of curiosity
Mooington being locked in a huge cage was a highlight of that quest, lol
Has that old Wynn charm where nothing was taken seriously
Bob sure is a shithead for sending mooington to skien island
Across The Ocean is. vague. but giving a general location and the names of the items is still somewhat valuable.
and so do boss altars they have the item shown
lots of various things
they captured it
wow
I still miss the lava cow, to this day
Wtf you mean captured
mob work, dialogue, story bits here and there, balance stuff
lore JUGGERNAUT
content janitor is what i call myself
i'm pretty sure the old ahh signs say they have a 'new' prisoner
basically lore juggernaut but humble
mob rebalance neo ultra deluxe ++ ultimate edition
Maybe don’t put your friend in an island full of insane people
Custodian of Content
I see
Bob animal companion lore kinda fucked ip like
Fucking scattering them in different island in the world just to wait for random ass stranger to come and kill them
is there a mod that I can use to make wynncraft lookin stuff in singleplayer
now that confirmation that no skien dungeon I have to make one myself for my peace of mind
What is wrong with Bob at that moment man
“I entrust you guys will take care of my animals for me”
“Yeah, we all fucked up and locked them in a cave or dungeon”
Might be little fucked up in the head
Chuckle got sent under care of someone
Guys I thjnk Bob might has favorite
Bob, though not entirely responsible for what the people did to his animals, surely must’ve had better company
in fairness baab does have a whole cult taking care of it
bob entrusted his animals to good people. the problem is nohno went insane, baab and mooingon's keepers... some shit happened
and now they're all locked up
If Nilrem, he totally must’ve known that a random cult of sheep loving goons wasn’t the ideal scenario
Actually, I’d love to know how Baab got there
maybe mooington's keeper went on a little voyage and entered russian airspace
its probably very much in a lap of luxury in spite of the cavey surroundings
cult leaders arent exactly treated poorly by their followers
That being even more of question of wtf did mooington do
Im unsure of what they’re actually doing with it down there, though
What kind of worship lol
Do they sacrifice themselves to it?
and baab uhhhh who knows maybe his keeper also went insane
Holy sheep
who knows really
Baab had the most insane turnout
Even then I just think animal companion feel really forced
Mooington got fucked over hard, sure, but Baab turned into a literal cult leader
Unless they can expand on it, I rather not have them as part of Bob rewrite
i like them but i'd rather for them be animals like a wolf, bison etc. not random farm animals, but it's a part of bobs joke
Still would not spread my animal companions around t he world for complete stranger to kill them
Personally would not do that
it's the old case of feeding the jewels to the dog
i like to think it's a very "THE MAGIC CONCH HAS SPOKEN" type of thing where all the followers collectively have one braincell and just imagine whatever when baab "speaks"
Idk how I feel about them going, tbh. They’re charming lil inclusions, despite how confusing being “infused with Bob’s power” is
oh so that's why my (orange) cat has an obsession with sheep
“Okay, magic Baab, what do we do now?”
“Nothing”
Literally just feel like only there for gameplay
but yeah this is a 2013 thing
I just like the idea that a cow (or actually maybe its one of those Totaro’s or Toronto’s or whatever) is just this horrifyingly capable, feared monster, and that they had to lock it in a huge ass prison cell to keep it away from them.
dear fuck
I just realized early 2013 kids can use discord
id like to keep em and just put in some more effort to make em special
Cluckles got a rewrite and became one of those Condors, so I’d like to see how the other animals could be changed
bovine barn survivors with ptsd lol
Lmao Mooington being a potential WOC to be
like just off the top of my head bob is stated as exploring the ocean so what if baab came from maro peaks to begin with so it's a maro ram
It’d make sense, but it’d have to have a lil more as to why Baab specifically is worshipped
Ig they’re blue
well like i said this was right off the top of my head
toronto cows only usually die from age
i mean
not important but the ones in cinfra have over 1m hp
Idk the name anymore lol
touroto
if you think toronto cows are scary...
I think Toronto is funnier
it is
thatd put you off the track team for good
-10% melee skills
Shoulda worked yo shins wit the kettle bell
Flex yo ankles wit a kettle bell on them, and you’ll feel instant relief
ryuji no
Unless you have a compound artery
in that case is it dover
Man I gotta work on my archetype later
Actually yes
It almost finish except for fruman one
Had a buddy of mine with a “composite arterial graft” and basically couldn’t walk after a year
His shin was so blown up
woah just hit 1 frame per minute
Hi everyone
isn't a purple emerald really a form of bixbite not emerald
Isn’t bixbite just a red variant of beryl
ye but doesn't it also include the purples
so is emerald
it's beryl with chromium iirc
I don’t think I have lobster claws, no
tf
hidden side when
Going swell
Here is one of the endgame enemies
Is this SU or that OKKO show
SU
yoo you're still working on it?
The character is named after a mineral I feel like that should’ve been obvious
Yeah
Here’s the newest enemy I added
It has a really similar design to OKKO. Don’t remember much of the new characters, now, for SU
I've been looking forward to it for a long long time
what is okko
Basically if the character is a mineral (or gem, basically) chances are it’s a Steven Universe character
I think since like 2021?
80% of SU characters are literally the Gems
Fair enough, lol
It isn’t an acronym
Google it
Bixbite does sound like a funky name, though, compared to something like pearl
bixbite sounds like a robot name to me
It’s funny because there’s a prominent character in SU named Lars
And another one named Lapis
Which
You know
I mean this guy
Oh, lol, I didn’t know that was a person
Stars*
And probs not
Yeah
Do you want to see more HS content
HS content? In 2026?
Yars plars
This may be the first of the year, as far as I know
yo @dim plover an irl friend just send me this huge ass city map like 9000 by 6000 blocks of total CITY (and it looks like it's unique too)
so obvioisly it has to be used for tnt cannon testing but also like I don't want to destroy it because it looks insane but also if I copy it my computer's space is going to be 📉 what do I do
Don’t be fooled by the gif, the boss has been extensively tested and I can confirm that the fight is completely no-hittable
Yes
HS before Fruma
(Hold on I’m finding more funny gifs to pass off as HS content)
Rare footage of the ending of Hidden Side (the player gets chased out of the Silent Expanse)
how many eyefolk did you piss off holy shit
also are you still using cnpc or did you swap
I feel like you’re not sensing the joke of me not actually having anything related to HS to post
(We can still talk about HS content I’ve already posted though)
I remember a lot of the PZ talk, like the connection between PZ and that golden variant I forgot the name of. Really liked it, and could use a refresher or two on just names and such
Flicker
I sort of gave the PZ Relik its own lore in Hidden Side
Unlike PZ though, the Flicker boss does use her actual name
As in, Flicker’s her actual name
PZ and the third sibling are also implied to follow the same naming convention
But in summary, they’re a trio of siblings from some celestial kingdom not present in the Physical Plane. Through some cruel twist of fate all three of them fell into the void via some disconnected accident, or voluntary, or otherwise
The Reliks they wield are ceremonial handheld artifacts imbued with incredibly powerful magic, which may be the reason for them persisting after death
At least with PZ’s owner the forum thread I wrote does imply some soul retainer-like rituals they did pre-fall, but otherwise the other two are not public
PZ’s owner is eldritch/void/dark-themed, Flicker is plant-themed, and the third sibling is space-themed
Basically Void, Land and Sky
In the canon of Hidden Side, Flicker’s influence while in the void is what is responsible for generating all the plantlife you see in Void Valley and Void’s Edge
Obviously newer Wynncraft canon like TNA kinda contradicts this but I’ll figure something out
But yeah otherwise all three of their bodies are destroyed post-falls but their souls inhabit the Relik
That’s the Void Siblings lore as vague as I can give atm
Technically I already have their full player skins and Relik boss appearances but I want to save them for if I actually do introduce them in some content I make
Oh right I guess I can talk about this one
As referenced in the PZ Resource Pack forums thread, PZ’s owner fell via excessive dabbling into dark rituals and experimentations
From Flicker’s dialogue, she fell to prevent her Relik’s power from being stolen while the kingdom was under siege (This is part of Hidden Side lore and is relevant to the gameplay)
The third sibling is the least elaborated on so far, but they fell willingly
I remember there being this really nice post fight dialogue about Flicker talking about people scheming against them, but I might be misremembering it. I do know the arena/design of flicker is really nice, and I like the relik weapon itself
Flicker could talk to you/have special dialogue in specific areas, right?
The idea was that she is a third Talking Mushroom, yeah
Thanks
Although I designed the boss fight under the assumption that EO parkour was like, relatively easy for people
Which I have now learned it isn’t
I’m inclined to keep it the way it is though since Flicker being one of the last few bosses of the entire map kinda justifies its difficulty
What are y’all talking about?
is there a lore reason why there are two types of flerisi trees
and how are flerisi (creatures) and flerisi (plant life) related - are they like resting grounds?
Probably
There’s two types because the lower molten heights is hotter than the upper
how do we know this
Because this is explicitly stated in game, and just proven in general by just making sense
Lower heights are hotter, so they better kindle a hotter flerisi tree, whilst the upper heights are cooler, making them red
was it stated in the region discovery or somewhere else?
that does make sense
It’s stated by the Doguns, where they mention the upper heights being more difficult to sustain themselves up there
Lvls are canon
looking back at what I did with the ocean for wartorn project hoenstly I really want the ocean to be mix and mash of other region combine to make it feel like this wild place that just open relatively recent compare to toher region in the game in universe
I like the idea of pirates and cirminals running rampant because there is not really order establish in the ocean which closet to is Selchar
I really like the idea that Selchar coudl be rework into this settlement attempting to be the capital of the ocean and establish order
maybe villagers try to reach more control over the ocean for more trade routes and resources
but even after 100 years, they still struggle to establish order in the ocean due to the amount of pirates and other criminals activities
I really want it to move on from undead pirates and go to exploring pirates from different background like corkian, gavelian, or wynnic and more
cause rn we kinda have just pirate
like ltierally generic pirate that could be in anywhere or undead
There just a lot more potential with the ocean
Like Ice Islands I really like the idea of them remaking ice islander into being more active role out there
maybe you can see ice islander in Nemract or other place with each nations have different relationship with other civilization in the ocean
maybe nodguj nation is more open to trade with other and establish more friendly relationship with other while dujgon become raider and one of the threat in the ocean beside pirates
There like a lot of potential with the ocean that I wish got expand when it get update
Dead island definitely need remake, I just imagine it an island devoid of mobs like just overgrown tree
Tbh don’t have any idea for other island on top my head
Are they?
but then it's free dark wood
Idk
Then why did you just say that
no
Only evidence for it is that you need to be lvl 21 to drink nemeract whisky ig
thats actually hilarious
is moontower only used for mages
Idk about canonically, but as an item, it’s used by every class
MT is just a really good WA slap boot. There are better options for dps and such, but if you need that extra SP, and want to be able to maybe offhand some items or go heavily into ET after the initial investment, it’s there
I use it with DAtS just because I like running a high dex number, and you can potentially use it with any class because of that. It’s just used on warp a lot because of the req’s warp has
wa?
Water Air
ah
not that moontower dats is a wrong choice, particularly from a thematic standpoint
just that it's basically the number one Ephemeris Bait item and it's weird to see it on anything but
I guess you could also just use martingale,
I just MT DAtS purely because I can literally use any item—that isn’t boots—I want with it after
Plenty of spare SP for dex or def, too
the humble 105 intelligence 140 agility
Free Aquarius usage for the 70 mr you need for an effective DAtS trickrobat cycle lol
the -40 defense seems hard to break
It is, which is why I generally don’t break it
TWA is easiest
If I had more -1st cost availability, alongside -3rd, I could use less mr and get more dps from it
But there’s just not enough -1st’s
I forget what necklaces I'd usually use
but sometimes I get to remember Found Footage not only exists, but gives intelligence
something I'd ordinarily forget since I'd usually entertain it for TFA experimenting
Xebec is ideal, imo, but I just use dhydro for the dps, especially when I’m stacking onstinance’s for the added spell and wa%
Better to run more mr and get dps for it, rather than getting ideal costs and potentially losing stuff like HP or dps for it
DATS isn’t made for mainhand usage anyways, I just fucking love it with how it works for trickrobat. Being able to echo lacerates to both fly and deal damage feels so good
If it did a consistent 250k, I’d literally use nothing else, but it’s hard to even do 200k
You can burst pretty well with it, but so can everything else, so why bother
It plays basically exactly like how the mercenary in RoR2 would play with an infinite dash and R
It’s honestly the closest I can compare to old Acrobat lol
Just replace the old aerial ace with the buff you get from killing clones
Also no shurikens
Ig it’s not like old Acrobat that much lol
Idk
Even if they are, still have no significant to plot. Other than power scaling
oh my god bruh
Lvl 100 ahmsord citizen vs lvl 10 zombie who winning
How Ahmsord population be soloing the entire wynn province
zombie
Dance amongus the stars would be so tuff with funambulist
amongus
Sussy Baka
they got a lot of hp
should i make a level 20 warrior build
I think zombie has a chance if the citizen doesn’t heal
no im changing this to 35 i have 0 ability points bruh
Already use it
It is indeed hella
TBH I feel like Troms jungle could. use rework to be more like actual war between left over corrpted forces and troms itself
with dernal jungle being this place full of evidence of olms terraform the forest during their stay
like I been depict the entire jungle to be terraform by olms to be their defense against dern due to how paranoid they are
and I feel like that could make jungle really stand out
Why are the Lusuco golems different from all the other ones? They’re player sized and don’t use the standard golem model
Never explained
why are you blue
I pretty sure it's same thing as Hashr where CT back then just do it because they thought it would be cool
even tho it like
does not really make sense lore wise
they're not golems like iron golems
pretty sure their species is "golem"
I rather not think of yet another irrelevant spieces in already bloated spieces roster that is wynncraft
like how there are pupsicles
Maybe Lusuco made their own golem type, idk
a human frozen like a pupsicle becomes a golem
this is surely why they are blue like lusuco golems
I pretty sure pupsicle is just baby ice fang
but named pupsicle because of a pun
I think personal intereptation is fine
but I think the way you word it feel like you telling a fact
which is not
just as the CT said they is no given reason
there literally ice fang
I pretty sure pupsicle is just baby ice fang
ye this is just speculation
it just different spieces of wolf
yeah but the way you word it feel like a fact
taht why I say personal intereptation is fine
but dont speak it like it's a fact
that how you get people confuse
yeah my thought is the lusuco golems are an ice species of human
idk
ok
I feel like if some random small population in province that known for not having magic capable of making golems feel very weird
but yeah
I mean this (explicit speculation warning) seems consistent to me, there's a place cold enough to create a new variant of wolf then maybe it's cold to create a new variant of human
also don't the lusuco golems look exactly the same as the lusuco citizens
with more armor
I think they're just Lusucan (?) soldiers (speculation!)
I wanted to explain it in a Lusuco quest but I never got the opportunity before Frost Bite ate up all the available space
it very much started as someone going "man lusuco is boring...hey yknow what would spice it up?"
I felt like itd be neat to tie into things since there was no explanation given but Situations kept happening where I just couldn't get to do the quest to explain it that I wanted, and then Frost Bite happened beneath my notice and ate up all the available quest space in the region
and we got "whup"
I think funniest part about Frostbite existence is EPpo somehow got fanart
that like only thing notable that I remember about it
one of the things that annoys me about it irrationally is the overuse of one CT's name for npcs
and not even the full name but a shortening of it
instead we get Eppo and his horse Oppe
we had a whole other three letters to work with
Peak naming
tbh I still have 0 fucking idea what to do with Lusco for my wartorn
I really want it to be this place that people settle to be away from Theorick
the problem is Theorick mansion is right there
so I am not sure
what about ope
anotehr thing I could think of is maybe they trying to escape the freezing??
different guy?
also makes me wonder did the tower arrive before or after the ice
the problm I ahve with the freezing is that
yeah i dislike that name too
literally I feel like everyone fucking die in that freezing
liek IDK how is there a survivors
like literally every bunker that ever exist
are all got frozen over
realistically there should not be any survivors after the freezing to make Nesaak LOL
ope oppe opppe and oppppe
so IDK what to do with Lusco
another idea is that it a town that try to be free from Theorick but also could not give less of a shit that they build near his mansion
because he mostly spend his time in Nesaak anyway
and it deeper into the region so no corrupted get in
so Theorick also could not careless
and just turn his eyes when he go to his mansion
but yeah so far kinda clueless on what to make of Lusco as a town
I think it so irrelevant that it just might as well be gone LOL
it's a weird tiny region where many things converge yeah
Another idea I just think of is maybe lusco could be a town full of people who try to build even close to Theorick for safety???
Like just maybe
Maybe that why they got library dedicate to Twain
But idk I feel like that idea alone would kinda invalid Theorick being bit of an ass
I havent spoken because of a theory I have but mmmm
idk
maybe theorick was more trustworthy with some people and was why he was tolerated for a bit?
I mean I guess?
I mean
I have no clue really that town is weird in general
Yeah it is weird
you have a dang meteor tower casually standing next to it
if ice can clear corruption
tbh i generally dislike frost bite. i find it very arbitrary mechanically, everything about the mansion makes no sense, and the whole thing ends off theorick's story making him out to be a way way bigger issue in the region than he shouldve been, i feel like
yeaaaah
I think I heard this before
what if lusuco residents were corrupted, then got cleared of corruption and frozen, eventually thawed and built a city
And yeah I must agree lol
I didnt like that about the quest
Also Theorick having mansion so far away from nesaak just so weird
I feel like if mansion was remove, I think the idea of lusco become independent town thst try to stay away from Theorick could work
That not how it work
But okay
yeah dont think ice has that effect
I’ve only halt and slow down progression of corruption
Not clense
That not how it work
also true then we can finally have space for separate lore abou-
đź’Ą
What was corrupted will stay corrupted
I am thinking rn what could frostbite be about if mansion was moved
Cause here the thing
hmmm tower of ascension?
Ehhh I will talk about that later
Cause here the thing
Frost bite bejng aboht Theorick is good
But the problem is it after fate of the fallen
Theorick swerve to have build up toward him
So at best I can imagine frostbite being epilogue or extra bit about Theorick as character
I like fate of the fallen
maybe about why theorick is how he is or something
I feel like Lusco should be closer to the Twain mansion instead of Theoricks, with the whole Twain library and Theorick going to Nessack to be awaking from the other Twains
So lusco would instead be the town established around the Twains for protection, and Nessak is this town that’s further away
well either way what about Lusuco being built After Theorick iced everything
it has a library so I highly doubt it
If Theorick had a mansion he absolutely would what people near him LOL
I mean it’s in an isolated corner of a frozen wasteland then with no discernible food sources and barely any shelter, seems like a poor spot to choose
yeah who tf would willingly build a settlement in an ice canyon
Tbh I could imagine it as being send off for Theorick?
Like mage they set up funeral for him or something
And then you get to learn more about what he been studying
Like oo wait
Maybe it could tell us more about his magic and the Twain
hopefully it does something more than what house of twain does
people who lived there and either want to profit off of the mines or are scared of the tunnel between it and nesaak
it is full of an army of mobs
Yeah, but personally I think it fits better if his mansion is then nearby Nessak instead, it’s larger and closer to an area where there’s more people
in that case what about relocating lusuco to where the mansion is
and make it like
lusuco was theorick's hometown
I meant Theorick would not want people near him lol
and he built his mansion there
Yeah that’s what I suggest was earlier, have Lusuco be by the Twains mansion and Nessak by Theoricks
So maybe just swap Theoricks mansion and the Twains
can't do that, twain mansion has to be next to Silent Expanse
isn't that where all the fucked up creatures in the graveyard are from
No?
no lol
What the fuck are you even talk about
Plus aren't those dark spikes above the graveyard
the area existed before SE
then what sort of spikes are they
I mean I joked about the Twains being next to the SE but I don’t think there’s any lore implications there
not corruption
It just random shit ct put up befause grave mistake isa quest where they test out the script
It’s meaningless
They have 0 plan when making that quest
Don’t take old stuff for granted
Yeah that too
Yeah but like
It’s whatever
Twain area is so outfated
I would take it with massive grain of salt
I mean there is an eyeball blob in the basement and it's super close to the eyeball land
weren't they planning for SE to be there anyways
well that's... worse
there's another source for eyeball blobs
besides eyeball land
One was already enough
even if grave mistake didnt exist I doubt eye forest would be the only source
Sometime you gotta accept that some wynncraft stuff is just old as shit and should be take into equation lol
Like warden of wisdom
It literally fleshy stuff with eye
yeah but that's still Dark
Yet it has no connection to SE
thanks to parasite
We literally has no evidence of it directly connect to Dern
It might be just humoncolus thst Dullahan made himself
Jsut because Dullahan is decayed does not mean everything he does is Dern related
it looks awful similar to the myocardials
I dont think Dullahan would even like or care about Dern stuff
Sometime shit just happen to look similar
Especially when you are on graphic like wynncraft
actually wait that's bs ct reuses everything of course it looks like the myocardials
How many mobs are there that look like Gestalt Consciousness again
at Least a half dozen I think
Anyway honestly if mansion was remove or move
speaking on RoL and models I found out this goober exists
goober
It would be nice if the frostbite quest is us finding the key from the butler
Hmm wait
I kinda want lusco to do something with frostbite
I still thjnk Theorick mansion definitely has potential for lore drop
But maybe jt could be move or change to be something suited Theorick character more
Maybe not even mansion
how large do you think Theorick's mansion is compared to Lusuco
I think getting into the mansion probably should be the end point of the quest rather than the middle part
So I probably will thjnk of it later
Cause the thing here is
The quest happen after fate of the fallen
So thst should be the peak of the story where we get to meet Theorick and put him to rest
ok hear me out here
So frostbite should carry this tone of us finding what Theorick left behind
what about removing lusuco and instead making it so like. Theorick's mansion has new residents
a lot of them
I don’t think you understand what make the mansion ooc for Theorick
Like the issue of the mansion is
Everything about it does not make sense for Theorick character
Like the problem is not the mansion location
Or whatever
It just everything about it
Theorick character is thst he only want payment from people who he saving as a job
Like as payment
For survival
The mansion go against tjis by making it feel like he taking more than he should and live in luxury
Thst tbe problem with the mansion
true
It make Theorick feel like massive asshole rather than cold heart guy
isn't he both
that and the mansion somehow having ghostly servants and poltergeist-flinging around anyone who insults him in it also just makes him look endlessly cruel and conceited alongside displaying powers he was never established as having
Mael was the spirits guy, not Theorick
Why is there ghost servants??
I mean if I had a mansion I would totally trap it for visitors I don't like
Yeah but that require money
Or time
That Theorick would not have or dare to put because he doing his job
He does not seems like petty asshole, he just anti social
Bro just want to treat his hero shit as a job
The thing is thst Theorick meant well like
He is thst kind of guy thst meant well but the way he show through his action and word really make you hate him
So I don’t think he would be thst petty to rig up his mansion with trap
what about rewriting him to be more petty then
I think it's a disservice to the character and story we want to write to have him just be a raging asshole
what about a non-raging asshole
what about a person who can discuss stuff in a serious manner
If a character meant to be non raging asshole
Then the writing should be correct to him being non raging asshole
You don’t rewrite shit just because
I wish Theorick has more time
I feel like nesaak area should be dedicate to him
It sad how most of like what make his character good is lock behind secrect discoveries
I hope thst when ct to get to nesaak
They would able to make storyline out of Theorick
also mabye make reincarnation have actual information in it?
like instead of nilrem's secret letters requiring all that
have the important bob lore in the quest that right now just requires finding two or three of bob's pets?
theorick is so cool fr
Someone hasn't gotten all the secret discoveries. /j
secret discoveries say otherwise
shoutout to the like 5 npcs named after imaxe
Maxie, Axelus, ok actually i cant think of any more
To discuss this further, I’m of the opinion that Theorick’s past and sacrifice are better suited for SD’s, with Fate of the Fallen being better suited as the first quest you experience in Nesaak, rather than ToA or underice. However, to fill the void for developing Nesaak, I’d much rather it be better centered around helping people take back what was lost, after Theorick’s freezing. Frostbite needs work, but it’s a good base for what I think a lot of the quests around the area should be like (minus the unfunny whining from the main quest character).
To top it all off, I’d love if specific quest characters could be informed of what we have potentially learned from the SD’s. Treat it like how the festivals have set queues for getting unique dialogue; just have it be SD related, further giving these characters development, and attaching us deeper to both the plight of the people, and the story of Theorick. And, of course, give more to return to, like how they have done with TCC’s quest, and Olon.
I knew they’d listen to that one CF post, if we just complained enough
has anyone ever made this joke before
maex
Since the conception of Bob’s lore, yes
Thoughts we will hear smtn similar…
Welcome home.
hey there thanks for taking a look at this video
this song took way to long to make. everything sounded off to me (still does to some extent) so i kept revisiting it :(
also this was NOT made in Note Block Studio. i found t...
I can see that
But I feel like fate of the fallen should not be first quest I feel there has to be build up to the region first
Consider how Aledar was trying to research way to defeat the corruption
I thjnk it make perfect segway for Aledar to be there with introduction to Nesaak
Maybe replacing under ice
And briefly mention Theorick
And fully introduce him in fate of the fallen
Tbh my criticism also stem from wynncraft lacking actually good character and have one of them thst come close to it only lock behind SD is something
I’m a huge fan of that, actually. Us being tasked with Aledar to potentially assist the citizens of Nesaak, unintentionally getting involved with studying the nature of Theorick’s Ice, and how to counter the corruption
That’s a great first quest concept, and would segway into Fate of the Fallen really well, even if that quest remained more optional—story wise.
I don't like how they made dungeon/raid quests non required now
could've just made so that it's global per player
though I'm no coder so that's probably hard or something idk
I kinda wanted dungeons to be like a plot continuation to their respective quest tbh
So yeah, possible unpopular opinion but I want all dungeons to be questlocked
(Also good way for the quest to be an introductory to the dungeon or the dungeon boss’ story idk)
Wynncraft has a weird purpose for the dungeon
they aim dungoen to be middle point of the region for the player
allow them to exp farm in to advance their elvel while doing that region
I dont personally agree with that
since dungeon is so linear it get boring real fast to farm
and it rob so many story potential by just having dungeon quest being so early in the quest
but it is what it is
I didn’t realize how much I missed quest locked dungeons until it was taken away.
Or maybe the quests we have are mid idk
I thought removing the quests would let you enter them whenever, but you’re still kinda forced to enter them semi close to the intended level, so you don’t really lose anything locking them behind a quest
it liek weirdest part about wynncraft
they really want dungeon to be repeatable content
but it just not at all it just soooo linear
it worse when you get to like corrupted dungeon when some reward require 6 fucking playthrough
when add open dungeon where you can choose whatever path to reach boss
At least you get tokens from forgery chest
I like that they're putting characters mentioned or shown in earlier quests in these dungeons
It ties up nicely
The quests are pretty old otherwise though, but they are laying some foundations for remakes
I'm the most interested in Slykaar's quest
The Sewer and Spider Nest dungeons are still good because they’ve been framed narratively in the early storyline quests, and the Spider Neat has companions in Aledar and Tasim. Maybe once the other quests and dungeons are redone they’ll feel better
So there’s a narrative reason behind doing those dungeons and it feels good to do them because of it
the sewer literally is not framed in the early storyline at all
it literally left at it sfrom the star
actually early story line seemingly made to be inconsiderate of it
as quest like infested plant happen 1 level before sewer of Ragni
actively pushing player out of Ragni and thus pretty much usher player away from the sewer as the ycontine uthe main storyline
so sewer framed by early questline at all but mostly either ignore or simply not consider its existence
Well it's just legends
They're not actually dangerous to Ragni citizens
The most dangerous thing about it was Sewer cloggage lol
I think its just supposed to be a side dungeon
???
None of this related to what I said?
beside the last part
I just say that the early storyline did not take Sewer into consideration
and that literalyl it
where is that 80% of that message came from
It is
It's not relevant to the story because of these things
Do you guys think we’ll eventually get more recurring army leaders? For instance Graken and the Almuj Commander are only featured in one quest each, and I think at least Graken could be in multiple.
Almuj Commander definitely but I don't really see Graken in anything else. What's your idea for him?
The Almuj guy seems corrupt, even Aledar says he's dislikeable
okay?
we got Aegis
Maybe just more related quests around Nemract? Similar to Aegis role in Deltas
Nemract area likely getting remake similar to Ragni and Detlas
but that purely speculation
Ic
Nemract probably more suited for storyline like the early
but consider Tasim dialogue
it likely we going there alone
it woudl be nice if it's its own storyline that end with Charon as main villain
ye like 2-3 quests
It’s funny how there’s basically only two quests in Nemract that Segway into anything Charon related, whilst the remaining Nemract quests are all separate from the town.
Should tempo town be an earlier quest?
Funnily enough
So there’s more range to teleport between Nemract and TT, with potentially higher level quests?
Time valley stuff is after Nemract
mostly
TBH I think the teleport exist SOLELY for TTT
which is really funny
Nah, the items are all around 35
Literally could not even remember using it once
What’s the point of a Nemract fast travel if there’s nothing to return to.
ttt?
Ig for misadventure
The quest is lv 25
Nemract and tempo town are in a really weird range
They're kinda just mashed together
yeah they are
UC and TS
I think TTT would be better suited as a replacement spot for rooster island, potentially, or even pit of the dead
Whats ttt
Then, you can actually use the fast travel
oh
Pit of the dead could be remake into more charon related
but yeah
Fucking love how ocean introduction is just nothing LOL
like ah yes
pit of the dead is one of the most forgettavle quests
entire vast of ocean
has no flare introducing it at all
it just
rooster island
yeah
old wynncraft really do not really give a shit huh
I’d like if they moved the quest a lil after a new TTT spot, potentially having TTT be a level 20 quest, much like grave digger, and give the option of exploring these two similarly scaled areas
the presentation that old wynncraft give to its content is the same vibe of high school students present a topic that they force to pick
Then, the obelisk has a noticeable use, and offers consistent back and forth for the areas you’ll be exploring
speaking of TS has the best dungeon in wynncraft but garoth is too slow and he barely does stuff
big fraud
Tbf, Wynn was kinda a fun personal project, when a lot of the outdated stuff now was implemented
They just added whatever
I mean, think about something like the old star thief quest. The quest is, quite literally, you giving a shiny rock to someone, and then they just sit there and scream and laugh forever
Hardly see it fun consider the lack of enthusiasm in its presentation LOL
but yeah
it is
wynncraft is so weird because it like
it 100% passion project
yet area like Gavel just feel so force like
shattered minds
A real MCMMO was never achieved before, and the team behind crafted movie’s just liked implementing nonsense ideas to their smash inspired combo system fighting MMO
it feel like what if a high school students were task to make a fantasy world as their assignment
so they just put together like
random ass classic fantasy element
and call it a day
what's the funniest wynncraft quest
none
either intentionally or unintentionally
actually no Jungle Fever is funny
bec ause they accidentally make blackface character
Which is why I’m happy Wynn went the personal route and decided to just add whatever, in a medieval setting
the entire jungle area is funny
becuase of how looking back to it
it literally do not age well
AT ALL
Though, it doesn’t hold too well now lol
I like Out of my Mind
like it so unintentionally racist
Ariodo is funny
yeah the foundation is literally just "make a game"
That's the only thing holding wynn together
which is decision that still leave its mark in wynncraft to do this day
I think the only debatably harmful representation in the jungle was Worid. Everything else seems more like a pretty standard, simplistic depiction of a tribe. Old customs, leaf garments, different language, wise, etc
no?
the fruma migrantion lore kinda make them more weirder
and just give off the idea of them onyl existing as a check list rather than the CT at that time geniunely want to add them and explore them
Yeah. “It’s a jungle, so there’s gotta be a jungle tribe. Let’s just make em nice and that’s it.”
it give off the idea that these tribal epopel are only worht much as tree for jungle region
More of a decoration than a representation of a real life culture
Not much more than that, and when it deviates, it gets sorta muddy and confusing
which is like
can be worse at certain angle
the way wynncraft build its region back then is so
weird
it like they have a check list on what make sterotype of a region
and then they just add those things like "let's get this over with" kind of attitude
I do like the potential of the tribe. There’s alot of subtle pieces of lore behind them that make you question what they might’ve originally been like
like yeah we got jungle region
we got dense trees
we got the native
we got cannibals
there defintiely potential
