ehhhh wynncraft never realy do anything with its magic system or religion
so maybe probably unlikely
Fruma probably wayyy too late to explain shamanism consider it like
lierally second to last expansion we getting so I rather keep magic system stuff to like earlier quest
I look into it
not really?
we dont really know about the cukture of the monk
and what we see in bmonk does not really pont toward it
so ehh
i thought it was stated that bob didnt learn shamanism because it was viewed as evil magic
the way shamanism is viewed by alot of the characters, iw ould say its a likely assumption
I feel like shamanism really need renaming or like
actually entire grookwart kinda need a big remake to explain magic sytem
like god
theories on leytech? seems to be the blue "stone" that powers most if not every golem in gaval, the leytech gargoyel's only difference between gargoyels being the blue veins is pretty much confirmation that the blue "stone" is ley and the leytech is part of golem technology that is either magic science or just science
Are Maxie and Honip childhood friend?
no idea LMAO it probably meta reference from what I remember
well from what we know
in wynncraft world it kinda imply science and magic to be pretty much the same consider the magic of this world is part of nature itself
and electromagic being literal real life electricity
So these leytech
is
yea leytech being pseudo science is a much higher possibility
consider we see leytech is armory in that LR challenge
Speaking of paladins, why don't the paladin class get a heal ability?
I have 0 fucking idea they probably some ancient technolkogy
probably build by people who made colossus or something
I highly doubt it being dwarves so like
that kinda cut down
Or better yet, could we ever see about getting a cleric-like class?
yea i just did armory lol
Something like a mix between mage and warrior
electromage š¤©
As of rn we haver 0 idea wtf those leytech gargoyle is but EHHHHH probably someday when we know about the race that make colossus and other things
I was more referring to a tank healer
IDK that just something people who do ATR need to answer lOL
Arhcetype character strike in weid line where like
they dont want to use canon lore
but also fallen and light bender exist
so lol
Fallen isn't a healer
If anything far from it
And light bender I suppose is the closest we can get though I feel that's more for a build topic
im thinking its ancient doguns bc the collosus is their protector but they live for so long and we don't see any leytech in molten, its confusing
then it just werid
because dogun made the legends that colossus was the one that give their stoney form
rejuvenating skin heals you back for some of the damage you tanked
oh so it existed before doguns or way earlier in the dogun's origin?
as for why it cant heal thats probably a balancing thing
also we literally have elder that literally comfirm to be the one who first exist
and he never mention that making colossus
only Garaheth made them
I can understand the difficulty of adding another class in Wynn. We already got a fast melee, tank melee, ranged offense, support range, and summon range
and the dogun higher ups have blue stones in their bodies that could be leytech but they're always dark blue, and leytech is a lighter blue
didnt they say theres gonna be a new class with fruma?
though that was ages ago so who knows
so maybe the race that made the first few doguns used leytech and then those doguns had the asexual ability to create more doguns without leytech?
I mean they dont lol
we literally have 3 elders exist rn
one of them literally said to be one of the first created by Garaheth's fire
well some of them lol
yea idk lol
its possible they got altered or modified in some way
i am leaning towards my theory of the first few doguns being golems themselves just bc geraheth is boring AS FUCCKKKKKK xD
well so far we dont relaly have proof that there doguns before garaheth so we not sure
so that more of a headcanon for now
honestly i think geraheth doesnt really make sense with the current lore
yea that too
same
well there mention about meddlers
and imply that meddlers are the same one that shift dogun culture
to view garaheth as terrible demon
its possible hes related to the realm of war in some way but who knows
garaheth is werid
demons as a whole is weird
demons get very little lore in wynncraft
we dont even know what they are
yeah true
i mean the corruption isnt in gavel so they cant be corrupted
from what we know
maybe theyre the inhabitants of the realm of war?
demons is not somethin to be meddle with
nope those are devils
garaheth seems like he exist before corruption portal open
devils and demons are not hte same
yea he could be a creature from realm of war that got to the void somehow and got morphed by the void (which would explain why he existed in his own pocket dimension) but i'd rather he be retconned
could be a hierarchy of some kind
hm
devils are entities created from corruption infleunce
demons are
they exist
this is only demon lore drop we have
i mean is it even explained what the angels are? (namely the ones around sky)
we also have no explaination what angels are
but consider their roles
they are filler mobs
so they best left ignore
funny out my leytech mentions started a geraheth convo lol
honestly gavel has a lot of cool stuff that just doesnt make sense with the current lore
It not that they dont make sense
just poorly explore
Demons could exist just fine in current lore
it just we know jack shit aobut them
but as of rn
ehhhhh sure
what we know that they likely primodial entities???
nah it straight up doesnt make sense, its a result from the story basically being made up as they go
how they not make sense LOL
like how their existence conflicting with current lore
I dont see what make them make no sense becside the fact that they just never been explore beside "demon is evil guys"
around the time of the silent expanse update they started planning a bit but they still didnt have a concrete idea of what to do
only stuff i can think of is geratheth and caritat not being infested by a darn parasite (or at least never mentioned)
Garaheth being infested by parasite is impossible LOL
decay is blocked off by Lari's barrier and canyon
yes but why do they exist? who controls them?
are they related to the dern beast?
realm of war?
are they related to something we dont know about?
we dont know but the information we have do not conflicting with anything in current lore
so they just exist
Really fucking wish we have more info but oh well
NO I MEANT GERAHETH JUST AS HIMSELF AND THEEEEN CARITAT'S LITTLE BUG PROBLEM š
english is stupid
oh yea and speaking of the parssites
it would be cool if the dark cultists in the dark forests are worshipping the parasites
or the decay
the thing is that paraiste is not that widely known for some reason?
there defintiely like
talor mages going on
and whatever the group that Gravan is working with is
there some fishy stuff going on but that unknown for now
other than the elves no one believes in orphion or the light and dark
so as far as theyre concerned the parasites are just yucky bugs
well the dark cultiests are secretive so i can see them knowing about the parssite, its only one more group knowing about the bugs+ they'll still gatekeep the info so the bugs will still be not widely known
hmmm honsetly rather not going with dark cultists cause we alreayd have those in wynn
for
some reason
I think it better off if this use to expand the group that Gravan working with
because they see parasite as a key to immortality
IDK if they still exist but I Think they are neat
hold on why am i theorizing this its basically half confirmed since they gave the rich kid fron kandor a dern parasite to infest her
yeah
i be forgetting stuff :P
Dark Forest ust old stuff rn but what is new there is pretty good
I take it as decay area is just blind spot to the government
so all kind of illegal and dark magic pratice being conduct there
dark as in forbidden
so we got flesh crafting with urelix
honestly
Lexdale prison should get overhaul
I fucking hate it
well not hate
more like just dislike it?
really poor attempt of bringing Dulalhan back to relevancy even tho it just give us nothing
like wow DUllahan getting prisoner soul
somehow with mailing?
how do you transport souls with mailing?
Is Jeff Benzo exist in wynncraft universe?
like when the fuck was this ever establish
I thought Arwes' dialogue got updated from that
wait that got changed this year?
Do we know Fool Eater lore
Did the boss come from Dern or was it a mutated SE creature
You ask ask in Wynnfics
Or throughs dms I guess but then others wonāt be able to read it
I thought it got changed LAST year
guess there was some confusion regarding finalization
I donāt think deus has ever explicitly stated what it was beyond it being just a creature of Dern in SE. True origins I still havenāt heard from them
Iād imagine itād be a wolf from the neighboring Nesaak tundra that got warped by dernic influence, or a void wolf that got transported and warped from a void hole
It was mutated creature
Bu dernic influence
I did have ideas regarding wolf theory but Nesaak wolf seems kinda a stretch
Itās native life on se
That been mutated by dernic influence
Madeline said this from what I remember
That why the design is not out there like Kantry
I get that Kantry come from Dern but to be fair one can very reasonably interpret Kantry as mutated horses or smth
or dogs, even
I always saw them more as huge bug like creatures
It doesnāt really look that āseparateā from all the other wacky stuff in SE
Probs the non-pupil eyes and mosquito-looking thing at the front
Yeah
I did always like the idea of the kantry being things that actually like developed alongside the SE though regardless of whether they were mutated by dern or not. Like the concept of the SE giving something that is explicitly friendly just like a regular ecosystem is cool to me
Live laugh love the kantry
Kantry my beloved
How do we even tell whatās from Dern and what isnāt
Like, I would assume the Realms are just pure magic but Kantry have biological functions that are compatible with the Physical Plane
Which implies that the Realms are less of magical realms and more of just another place with a different ecosystem from Earth
Perhaps the systems of the light realm are more magical but dernic systems are more biological
Also kinda weird light realm doesn't have a name like dern
Why is "The Long Winded and Painful Death of Sweeny S. Greeneville" mentioned so often (four times)
what
Dern is just the Irish term for dark, as far as Iām aware. So, itās still realm of dark, but itās got a different language thrown in there
If you want, you could call the realm of light Lux or Rol. Basically the same thing
Who exactly is bak'al? I finished the quest "Hunter's calling" couple days ago, and it left me a bit confused
Also now I finally get it with the warrior ability bak'als grasp
I was like "I have seen that name before"
Bak'al is/was capable of commanding the corrupteds, he disappeared after being defeated by bob at the siege of Ragni. Some time beforethis he had also chosen to serve the Dern beast and by extension the forces Darkness, which is why you see him fighting Lari in Realm of Light V.
Are you sure the order of that is right? Heās seen placing the eye in the Eldritch Outlook, which happened a while ago
Meaning he was aligned with Dern way before his encounter with Bob
that may not be in correct order, yeah
i just kind of listed events in the order they came to mind lol
i'll fix that
Fair enough
he already serve dern beast during corruption war LOL
I was indeed told this by Shmeg, which is why I rewrote that statement to be more accurate
yeah probably
What we currenty know rn is that Bak'al was a "corrupted" individual capable of commanding the undead
not really controling corrupted army as a whole
he is the reaosn to why Corruption War become worse than it would be due to his ability to lead the undead
he is also first person to step into the portal according to the information we have
he would do some shit for like
700+ years????
And then get beaten by Bob and disappear
that pretty much it
and ther whole ROL shit going on
oh arhcetype just weird like that
it mean nothing loil
it just reference
again just reference
Archetype made with no canon lore in mind
it just nod reference
Yeah I thought so as well
it half and half, they base it off cnaon lore but also dont want to try to meddle with the canon lore
it just
quesitonable decision but whatever
Yeah it's interesting
kinda felt like the warrior is going down some Deathknight path lmao
it weird because I talk to CT
and they deadass tell me that they dont want archetype stuff to meddle and touch canon lore
which is like fucking weird cause Fallen and Light Bender exist
so that like
a lot of canon lore being shove in
electromagic got left out but whatever
Yeah it's interesting
also canon wise
Fallen would never work cause you just die
but that fine since it's archetype
undead warrior defintiely a fantasy that could make a gameplay around
I mean I literally just picture a Death knight
The whole fallen kit, is kind of like blood magic
Literally
it's that yueah
but cnaon wise corruption pretty much just kill you
there is different protrayal of corruption
Yeah we have seen that quite well in the game so far
the one that Fallen archetype protray is not really line up with canon one
I mean there definitely plausible someone out there use corruption to enchance their power or whatever
Some weird back alley guy researched corruption with like 40 years of experience lmao
Orikal?
I mean it's all just theory but it might as well be what this channel is made for in the first place lmao, now you mentioned that archetypes are not related to the lore and that's alright, but giving fallen, and light bender out there is as you said a questionable choice, best thing I can think of is mentors for those archetypes, lightbender is slightly easier to explain cuz of the aldorei people and so on, but fallen for example?
Where would you even start that lol
HOnestly I have like OC for each archetype
and sometime think of a way to make quest where player can do to unlock something to finalize the archetype they were mainning
so what was my idea for fallen character
is that you basically gone ot hunt ancient undead and challenge it in combat
like very rough summary
I think for fallen you have to get creative with your "mentor"
because corruption canon wise, pretty much just made shit mindless
you just dead, there is no coming back
once you get to reanimated stage, you are done
I will say when I think on this whole fallen archetype stuff I keep thinking on the born in chaos forge mod
This guy, the fallen chaos knight
absolute juggernaut in the mod itself
but when I think on the fallen archetype I think of stuff like that
Not gonna lie, I'm not sure what non-Fruma stuff (as in stuff that doesn't revolve around Fruma, like Tasim/Aledar and whatnot) has been kind of undiscovered lorewise, especially because as far as I know - the portal opening was because of the Aldorei elders as seen in the second half of Aldorei's Secret. In terms of Wynn however - do we actually kill Theorick in the Ice Barrows dungeon, or is it a doppleganger or a corrupted form of himself that would need to be killed to well, revive him?
There's plenty of secrets and stuff that might have been left on a cliffhanger, but until Fruma comes - I'm sticking with stuff that isn't Fruma specific, although anything that might be connected is fine
the lesson here is that the Irish are the harbinger of all evil
You do, in fact, kill him in IB. He is revived in the hypothetical/alternative corrupted variation of the dungeon, but thatās not canon so

Iād actually be more inclined to compare it to Rickeoās fate as the Great Bane, being revived by corruption indefinitelyāin the corrupted dungeon.
Oh okay
So like how do you permanently destroy a corrupted. Can they restore a corrupted if you, say, hit them with a Bunker Buster at ground 0
Cuz if they can restore a corrupted from like small shreds then like why not just use a crap ton of small organisms and lump them up until you can create a whole new super-powerful corrupted Blob of death
A corrupted can be revived from the ashes as we see with Rickeo
but it relaly depend if corruption really want the corrupted back
Youād have to, MAYBE, spread the ashes and consistently dilute them/freeze them away from any source of corruption
Iām pretty sure that, if thereās even a slight bit of a corpse or vessel remaining, it will morph with the corruption and reform/revive
Iād imagine most are not conscious, after something like that, since corruption seems to only be portrayed as a force of war and destructionānot even chaos. Baākal is the only noticeable outlier, and a bit of Theorick, who has slowed its influence with ice magic
Theorick is fucking weird
he is suppose to be influence by corrupted but not really like
fully corrupted
but whatever
the guy been isolate himseelf for centuries IDK how does he still function
What if you go as destructive as possible and somehow shred a corpse to the point that it was pretty much just disjointed atoms spread over such a large area that none of the pieces were distinguishable from the surroundings as the molecules surviving are at maximum only able to be distinguished as coming from an organism but still too small to determine whether that molecule was from a bacterium, or an earthworm, or a rabbit, or a corrupted
Like no chromosomes or large enough proteins definitiely
maybe some small proteins that are ubiquitous?
Like surely if the Corruption can revive that, then it can just use pieces from other dead organisms and reform them into a clone of that corrupted
and it clearly hasn't or else you'd never pass Ice Barrows or The Great Bridge because suddenly 50 Rickeos or Theoricks would just erupt from the ground
Rickeo been mention to come back time ot time
I think the wrong thing we did here is assuming corruption work along with science
which it not
I think it mostly related to souls
as long as corruption get a hold of someone soul, they can be reform and brought back
And I see a serious business opporunity here, with the electromagic of Corkus and the magical powers of assembly from Mage Island... I propose we sell WMDs to the Province of Wynn
what
Whoās to say thatās not what makes up a lot of the lava slimes and other amorphous, strange creatures
yo can any loremaster confirm if the woc's are aliens?
woc's are the end result of cows you stole from katoa ranch
i just did cowfusion and it was hinted that they came from space and that they are exiles
thats why i am asking
Yea
this is probably old ass lore consider age of tunnel trouble
also wtf is this wiki page
ye
corkian and Urelix???
cerid
Wtf those two have to do with turning
Dude wtf is this lore lmaooo
This feel like some tjose fanfic shit just mash stuffs together
So I believe that I have already posted something here about this but...
What the hell is this about
Is it just an old cave from pre lootrun update? I'm mostly just curious about the hopper. Coordinates are -2277, -3569 on the Ocean's west border.
oh probably just cut or discontiune content
Itās supposed to blow up the wall and give you a couple chests, but idk if the enemies donāt work properly, or the TNT doesnāt drop
waiiiiiit woah
:supershock:
Thereās that journal accessible after the quest that tells you everything about Draleās motives specifically, but not really anything about their home planet, or what else is out there
its a cave that stopped working in 2.1 and isnt important enough to bother fixing
normally there are mobs that spawn outside and drop an item to put into the hopper
but they dont spawn
has literally zero lore relevance so no need to worry
I've seen some mobs spawn there while boating between it and Corkus, try /class spam
or maybe yknow they wandered from the mountains actually nevermind
Can someone please explain to me how this is possible?
- how does almuj have that much water
- how do corrupted valley lake and nesaak lake have enough water to be the source reservoirs for the central part of the nemract river, the twain lake, the lusuco river, the tempo town lake, the troms lake, and the entirety of the jungle
- If the waterfall near invaded barraks has enough water to make the rymek river that thick, how hasn't the mesa filled up with water by now?
- Where does the toxic wastes 'water' come from? Is it a polluted destination for the rymek water? That could make sense, but why isn't SE flooded in goop? Does the toxic waste evaporate or something
- How tf is the rymek river getting so polluted as to turn into green sludge by the time it reaches SE?
The toxic wastes are one massive living organism.
I guess that implies that they are unrelated to the rymek water?
That answers all the SE questions, but begs the question of where tf all the rymek water is going
The amount of water getting dumped into the mesa would have flooded it by now were it not dissipated somehow
It isn't visibly dumped into any caves
does it like evaporate or something from the mesa's heat?
the only explanation I can think of would be this
Come to think of it... I don't think there is anything in-lore that would prevent this solution from being viable
A big lake there would make most of wynn's hydrology work, although we would still need to justify a massive water source near corrupted village
like a massive spring or something
How tf is this lake supplying such a tremendous amount of water
Alternate solution would be this lake supplying an insane amount of water
A third possible solution would be the Elkurn forest receiving an insane amount of precipitation
Like all good world design problems: Half stupid devs and half minecraft not following regular rules of nature
inb4 metal gear rising Rules of Nature reference
AND THEY RUN WHEN THE SUN COMES UP
there's a waterfall on the cliffs leading up to the twain lake so I'd assume that's the explanation on how that river still exists.
Does anyone know the specific details of Bovemism? The wiki article is a stub, but it seems so prominent in the world to have such little definitive lore. The wiki mentions it's most likely a reference to Salted, but surely there's more lore than that. Could it perhaps be related to the Wocs? What are the tenets of Bovemism anyways?
It's interesting that we see the Elves reference worshipping The Light, and in game we see what they mean by that (in the Realm of Light questline and the Orphion raid, and even the Light Bender subclass), but there's seemingly no elaboration on what Bovemism is or what it originates from, despite it being able to give similar powers, specifically to the Paladin subclass of Warrior/Knight.
Any resonance lore enjoyers here?
Druidās arenāt mentioned enough in Wynn lore, imo, which makes its connection to the rivers, fields, and mountains of the world being formed by the bodies of fanatical druids so cool
Context for chat:
The power to join oneself with the lifeblood of the earth has long eluded sects of fanatical druids and shamans. One such cult found a way, and subsequently wiped itself out in the process, their flesh turning to stone and veins forming new rivers.
resonance is a fun one
the quality in a sound of being deep, full, and reverberating.
im not sure how the name matches the lore tbh
Their life force resonates with the flowing streams and withered stones
Until their bodies subsequently joined in as one with the world
I always thought of it as a metaphorical connection to nature as a whole being intrinsically linked to patterns, and said patterns creating a fascinating mix of rhythms and routines the world moves to
The rushing sound of rivers, the shifting and breaking of tectonic plates and stones, the swaying leaves and twitching tree trunks, all that
They all carry a distinct resonance, in general, but to attempt to somehow bound yourself to that aspect of nature feels poetic with a name like resonance
funny c418 reference
that's all there is to it
it started when we were putting interactions in Beyond the Grave in Death's Mansion, and a bunch of referential book titles were asked for
so we decided to make a little joke about "The Long Winded and Painful Death of Sweeney S. Greenville" being this really well-known, really awful book, since it was, y'know. owned by Death
and eventually just more references to it have been added over time
specifically by people who have absolutely horrific taste in books
I wonder if theyāre going to ever acknowledge why CoWās corruption powers are green in nature
(Unless they just turn them red in whatever new model and/ or aesthetic they get in some future update retcon which)
(Pls donāt)
(I know Wynncraft changes a lot of old content completely but the green is iconic, man)
Itās cause itās in the jungle, and itās green
giant underground reservoir
were the hobbits born in gavel or wynn
or did bulbo just leave from wynn to gavel
I think they originate in Gavel
isn't there some festival dialogue talking about how Bulbo moved BACK to the shair?
ye
still waiting for the return of lord of the clock
same reason Toxic Wastes has green glass instead of purple
Yeah but darkness isnāt exclusively purple though
Itās like, a really colorful palette
it would be funny if we did that
lord of the clock has already been brought back to the furthest extent it can be
i wonder if clock set will become a lost legacy
or if it becomes obtainable in the future
someday
Lord of the clock vs Fruma
Lexnt says that Clock Mystery will come out before Fruma
This means that lexnt has unimaginable power and is capable of holding back the entire Fruma update by simply not releasing Clock Mystery ever
(Sheās holding Fruma update hostage and demands a random of 10 billion emeralds)
its probably not going to happen
i was hopeful but things have worked out in a way that has made it not possible
š
there were also some odd quests in ragni that are gone now
like a rat killing one and one where u break a guy out of jail
to this day I wish the questline we got have us stay in ragni for a while
I mean there is like Enzan's brother I guess but it does not feel like a part of storyline at all lmao
would be nice if they theme around the idea of you being recent recruits helping Ragni out
basically you aren't actually a Ragni soldier everyone refers to you as such but it's basically a euphemism for mercenary
in the current canon they never really refer you as soldier of any army
just soldier
which is like
okay
not how millitary work but sure
but yeah what player and other(tasim and aledar) are protray
are basically mecenaries
the reason being
I mean
Isn't like most of Wynn basically all technically under Ragni's thumb still
Since Ragni was the city-state that actually pushed back Corruption and probably rebuilt pretty much every town in the Wynn plains at least till Detlas
I'd guess that the 'Detlas Soldiers' are Ragni soldiers under a Ragni payroll just put there in lieu of the Detlas military which has been defunct since the destruction of Detlas
So maybe it makes some sense to make your soldiers de facto mercenaries when you de facto control a crap-ton of foreign land, so that Ragni doesn't look imperialist
no?
they are their own city that own their own territory
Detlas hold Detlas territory
I dont think ti ever mention that Ragni king is in control of Detlas
Almuj also have its own mayor
Nemract have 0 idea but consider Troms and Almuj, likely have their own leader as well
Also Detlas literally have their own admiral
also it does not make any sense to make your soildiers a "mercenaries" LOL
mercenaries are mercenaries
they are fine when it like irl where you are not on constant war
but soldeirs are necessery in this context be cause there is constant war against corrupted
so you need to make sure you always have soldiers on time
I know clock mysteryās rework is supposed to be more secretive, and itās silly to ask for details on how it will be developed, but I wanted to ask this about it:
is it the rewrite, the lack of time, or the mechanics around the clock mystery that are taking the most to develop?
lack of time
Iāve always been so fascinated about its development processāsince 1.20āand its original concept as a whole. Itās such a genuinely strange area in the game, thatās generally just so far away from everything else, despite concepts like time valley
I wish I had gotten a chance to do it, before it was removed. I never could find all the clocks, and the wiki wasnāt finished at the time to record it
When the time to finish it comes, could you slowly add some bits and pieces of teasers/references to the clock towers location? First a more noticeable clock, then a dampening of the OST, mimicking the Wynn Ultimate SD, and finally a journal referencing the mystery as a whole?
Something silent enough for those who like to visit the tower monthly (me) would find
dern when
at this point I don't think Clock Mystery is ever coming back
The real mystery was wondering when it would be canceled indefinitely
clock mystery scope increases every update because we keep gaining cool new tech it would need to use
I mean as far as we know the builders of modern Detlas were Ragnians, and where do we see their administration
From what I can tell, Nesaak was definitely only self-defending against Corruption, Troms was probably self-defending?, Nemract, Akias, and Detlas didn't defend at all, and I forgot what the situation with Almuj was
Ragni was the only one to defeat Bakal and go on the offensive it seems, all the others simply held their borders
It would follow then that most of the Wynn Plains towns were rebuilt or built from scratch by Ragnians
Also at this point in time the war's kinda a smaller concern than it was, the golems provide security for towns and Ragni has the weakest attacks of them all
There are real life precedents of countries attempting to expand power de facto (at least initially)
Think Brigade 2506 ig
Wait, so what will happen to the clocks we have from many sources? Will they be just like the Rusted Lost Sanctuary keys (except not being tradable) or other items from quests that aren't available anymore? Heck I've still got a corruption shard from an old Craftmas quest but I kept it for nostalgia
what i mean by its not going to happen is its not getting done before fruma
the clock mystery still is going to get finished, just... no eta anymore
Oh okay
Wait, what's happening with Fruma? I'm not sure if it's still coming in 2025, but there hasn't been anything about delays or whatever, and even then - I'm not sure if a Beta would be a good idea, since it might have spoilers or whatever? I could be wrong
I understand there's NDAs and stuff, and even if that's not the case - I just only had some curiousity
i hope there is a beta
but very limited
like, u can't access the whole province, just play the possible new raid and a few endgame mechanics
to test if everything works like it should
Fair enough, having the whole province might include spoilers as well, especially for newbies who haven't gotten lvl 50, although I got 6 lvl 105 classes; with 2 mages and 1 of each class (I've used my Assassin for profs as well, mostly cos I've completed what I need to on such class, Warrior was mostly lootruns when I can be arsed, Archer was for testing Divzer but I didn't use it much & Shaman idk)
having the whole province would be bad because the testing usually lasts for 1 whole month
But of course in terms of release; I'm kind of on the side of it being sometime in 2026, although they did say it'd be 2025, but seeing as Fruma will be the next major update (likely meaning 2.2, since 2.1 was Rekindled), its gonna take some time, and also with 1.21.10 being released as well, its gonna be a heck of a long time as well
Aye
But seeing as we're almost at the end of 2025, we've still got Autumn to go through atm
i mean
Anyway, I'm not getting my hopes up too high, as it will take time, just as long as they are transparent with whatever, that's the best thing I'd have
if there is a NPC that teleports you to the new raid (for beta testing purposes)
that's fair
Yep
it's okay if we, as the players can't see anything about fruma in beta
Ofc
Maybe we might not get a Fruma beta? It would take a while to test such, and idk if 2025 would've been the deadline, but seeing as there's under 100 days left of 2025, its probably gonna have to be finished in 2026, especially since there would've been a lot of hype
i guess
we're getting the final announcement sometime this week+
beta on november, full release on december
Anyway this is meant to be about lore discussion, but on the topic of such - I'm still wondering how we'd get into the province; Infliltrating with someone who is part of a splinter group could be feasible, but seeing as Wynncraft doesn't give a crap about morale, its probably a more chaotic option if its doable, otherwise there's doing a boss battle akin to All Roads To Peace, which would be a bit controversial especially with the queen being well - questionable
Excited to not play the beta and just look at the changelogs
yea, imma redirect this to #šwynncraft or smth
Alright
Lore should stay here, but anything else goes to the wynncraft channel because duh
where is this!?
Where did you find this?
I'm not sure about what its meant to be, but I'd reckon its just some hidden easter egg or something, just for fun or whatever afaik
betas usually have spoilers its just a fact of how they operate
Fair enough
it was that way for the silent expanse, it was that way for gavel reborn, and that is how it will have to be
Just meant about quests as well, but maybe it could be like a sneak peek?
the point of beta is to test bugs, the story needs to be there so we can test it for bugs lol
Yep
Although I dunno why Mage's Dimension's Door aspect does kinda cause issues when teleporting during quests
Happened on Mixed Feelings mostly but idk
But anyway - I take back what I said about spoilers in beta, it would be a buggy mess if it wasn't tested either
Okay back to lore, I'm also going to likely guess Tasim would have a part to play, although we might have to tell him about Aledar, but I honestly don't mind if something happens to Tasim, although it might be inevitable
However, Tasim and Aledar did have a bit of something back in the prison with the two having an argument because Tasim had healed Aledar, which resulted in Tasim being an accomplice, but I suppose Tasim's fate might not be in vain, especially with Aledar being in a terrible state, and couldn't do much when we get to near the Eldritch Outlook (since he, Lucio and Elphaba did get cocky as well), and well - it had to happen
Okay I'll also try to minimise the yap, as I do this A LOT but I just like lore a lot, and idk why
Damn
Doesnāt this just refer to that other door right outside the smaller Troms gate (the one beside Undergrowth Ruins)
Thereās a rock in front of the door I think
That reminds me of people somehow comparing crystals to meteors
Despite the meteors weāve seen debatably not crystal-like
Oh yea it does x)
can i have update leak
the broken llevigar pinot msg goes crazy
guys I think llevigar pinot is currently active
For -1 seconds.
i have the full clock set but i dont recall anything from what i did to get it
You fought some bosses that werenāt very interesting, beyond their names and concepts
Are aspect names canon by any chance?
āAspect of Dimensions Doorā
That āteleportā opens up some wormhole that transports them to the other side I guess.
Thatās more just something thatās tied to spells as a whole, which donāt exactly have lore anymore
They did, at some point, like vanish being an assassin cutting into the veil of reality and cloaking yourself in it
Really?
Well that makes more sense, considering the new attacks donāt even hurt you LOL
Really long time ago, yeah, in what was basically a fanfic of Bob being trained
If that property stays is up to the devs though
They had an entire section on the wiki dedicated to Bobās entire story, filled with lost characters and interesting interpretations
Given that dissolution exists, but idk if they want to rework it.
Iād like for them to bring that story back; vanish had such an awesome lore to it
But yeah it makes much more sense that vanish is tied to an external realm.
Made it feel that much more magical, putting your blade to the thin veil of our reality, and being able to cut into it to hide from the perception and physicality of others. But, being how taxing of a process that would be (think holding your breath or withstanding heat/cold), you canāt stay there forever
Iād assume teleport would do the same, in all honesty, opening slips in our reality to fly through, and open a path for yourself to the other side
Would make sense given you canāt gain health or mana (but you can lose health and mana for some reason).
They should have a node that drains your mana or health for a longer vanish duration
Mimic the old vanish spells from pre 2.0
How do you interpret the playerās existence?
My personal theory is that weāre part of a wide scale effort to supply more troops than what regular Fruman society can handle. If they sent more and more citizens to be soldiers, Fruma would be empty and there would be grounds for more to rebel/no workers to keep the province running. Instead, I imagined they brainwashed/wiped a series of the most well accustomed, mentally and physically healthy/proficient humans to essentially turn into breeding machines. They would selectively pick the healthiest humans for this program and continuously brainwash and memory wipe said humans until they were powerful enough to produce the most capable soldiers for Wynnās conflict.
My theory is that we, as a later iteration of this program, are merely another test subject, wiped at birth and force fed a life that never existed, explaining why we have absolutely zero memories to latch to
I hope that the real huge twist for our players development is seeing the āsoldier productionā experimentation process, and we are previewed to how both Fruman society and Wynn soldiers are upkept and defended. A never ending development for better use of memory wiping magic, brainwashing, and stronger and stronger iterations of player characters being reproduced for a silent take over
Might add to Orphionās line regarding āher (whatever) feeds this warā (I forgot the quote). A program like this does not bode for balance, and risks the entire world being controlled by the influence of darkness, if Dern somehow managed to get its influence into a program like that
I think having a few āmagnus opusāsā could be feasible (Lari tells you to bring a few friends over before fighting the Grootslang), but Iām left to question if so much of the inhabitants of the world are player-alike.
Thereās also another variation of the theory, implying that we are the first iteration of the program, and are being sent to test our effectiveness as a soldier, despite our programming
Maybe we find more scrapped iterations of the experiment, like that person in a cage at the last few seconds of the sovereigns trailer
All theories, of course, but it feels like a unique progression
No one in this world has same plot armor as player I am afraid
Also wynncraft just really love glazing the player for some reason but whatever
I have a feeling fruma lore will be some mid someone prove me wrong plz
I bet itāll be good
Doesnāt matter how it develops, as long as it makes sense
So far with all the other shit in this game its gonna have a comparatively weak foundation
Compared to other stories
I am super hoping the preexisting world gets alot of love in fruma update
Iām not so sure, since thereās actually a ton of really nice stuff interspersed around the world. Currently, all the lore regarding Wynn and bits and pieces of gavel has a ton to be enticed by, and I wouldnāt expect Fruma to somehow not go similarly. Thereās almost 13 years worth of development
Exactly, idk how long Fruma was first put in development for, but I'm hoping it'd be good to make up for the years or so, although I've only played from 2021 (had a hiatus in 2021, but came back in 2024)
can we fight broken vessel in fruma that'd be really nice
If anything, (if my theory has any weight to it) Iād absolutely love if we fought armies of successful iterations of a Fruman super solider. Theyāre better than us in every way, and it would require far more strategic understanding of the game to handle it, rather than just being powerful. Stuff like outsmarting and weaving through attacks, breaking formations, and attacking the most disadvantaged and noticeably injured.
A dynamic swarm that moves intelligently, taking the injured and sectioning them behind the strong, healing them to be battle ready again. It would be one of the more ethically dubious fights, despite the fact weāre facing an army of people sent to kill us. Youād hunt down and break away soldiers, prioritizing those with ācompassionā and weaker minds on the field, to break the mold of those more mentally fortified
Hell, if we wanted to make it even more horrible, have the soldiers hide and ambush within civilian housing, leading us to possibly killing innocents along the way, as a cross fire to section off the āradicalsā. Make it as genuinely disturbing and conceptually harrowing as possible
That last one is a bit too much of a concept for Wynn, though, despite how effective it could play out, in a world like Fruma
person in a cage?
I think they meant the last sec in the teaser
I dont think she can reveal that information LMAO
My personal theory is that the game started when you enter the Fruma-Ragni trail so you have no history before IT'S A 4TH WALL JOKE
My second personal theory is that in the next update Mama Zomble's memory will have a use where you bring it to Dr. Picard and he checks out the stored memory
ah yes a question that can be answered randomly from an unsuspecting ct out of nowhere
he probably can answer it
She
fruma tuesday afternoon
Fruma on December 31st, 23:59
Without going too into detail, do we ever figure out our characterās past in the story? Just yes or no answer please
No
currently, anyways. dunno if thatll change in the future, but i wouldnt assume it to
I misspoke, thereās some kind of dark roomāI assumed to be a holding facilityāwith someone slumped over on a wall, at the end of the trailer.
Could just be another prisoner, or a rebel
had a theory that we the player were created in a laboratory and sent to Wynn as a prototype for Fruma's new super soldier production line
would be interesting as a bio soldier concept (don't get me wrong I wouldn't put it past some characters to have the knowledge to pull such a feat) but that's definitely interesting.
Also probably a dumb question but do we know when Gale, Ohm and Qira roughly met?
who's ohm
ohhh, well why didn't they just say so
anyway, that info isn't known publicly
I do have a date set out- it just isn't listed anyplace except internally
This is the greatest news for Ohms enjoyers Iāve ever heard
Hi, Iām Ming
Iām trusting youā¦
hero beta announcement tmr !!!
Wait who is Ohms
Iāve heard of the name š
But I donāt remember
ohm like resistance !!!
To be honest, I do feel like such might be a mystery, especially with multiple scenarios that could've caused the player to be exiled from Fruma to well - Wynn, alongside Tasim and Aledar, both of whom we know of their past; Aledar was a fugitive on the run, whereas Tasim was an accidental accomplice, since he did heal Aledar somehow, which caused him and Aledar to get locked up and well - that's how Recover The Past ends for Tasim's bit
he's referenced on some items. much like lex and clock mystery gale and ohms' lore is something I've wanted to do for a while and had hinted at in the past because I thought it would be done way, WAY sooner than it actually turned out
For the player - it could be left to be determined, but idk
but priorities and tech keep changing
But anyway I'm gonna want to definitely do the quests when Fruma comes out! So much to possibly do as well, but idk if the first quest would start at 105 or even 106, since AHC is 103
But alas, time will tell
Anyway, I also don't know what would happen after Fruma, especially with Dern (basically the opposite of the Realm of Light), although with what happened after RoL 5, I'm sure we might have an encounter with Bak'al at somepoint in the coming time, but idk
Bak'al on his way to do fucking nothing and then kill immediently when we actaully get to meet him
that would be really funny
but yeah rn Bak'al should appear in Fruma storyline point somehow cause I think if they wait until Dern then like
literally it making him proper long lasting villain would be wayyy too late
Bak'al got a problem where like in theory he should do a lot of shit
in theory he should be villain we looking forward to
but like
there is nothing so far
Bak'al literally should appear before ROL 5
and no I am not counting secrect discoveries
WYnncraft villain roster been in shamble for 10+ years now
possibly
lie
Mr. Gale, from what I've heard
I dont think gale is her last name
Her name is Gale Nasin according to her gravestone
Tbh I love these tiny lore detail things- even if it isnāt content in the book it keeps the game feel alive- like the talking mushroom thing, the cannibals in the jungle world discovery thing, the broken teleporter next to Lusco etc.
There should be a low level quest where the player encounters bakāal or something.. the amount of ppl who donāt do secret discoveries and go on to RoL 5 and go like āoh hey whoās this?ā Pisses me off š
At least like a new low level quest like Studying The Corruption could come back where some person was trying to study it, then encounters bakal and gets murdered so the player knows bakal is dangerous and gets scared when he appears in rol 5
There slot you can do with Bakāal
But introducing him as the person who bring Wynn to ruins definitely should be done
Idk how it would be but yeah
Would be cool if Wynn story is more about fighting against corruption
I thjnk spider is fine it just rn it all we have
broken teleporter next to lusoco?
is there lore reason why memebard is muted
i'm going to estimate the population of corkus at 25k, 15k in corkus city 5k in relos and 5k distributed around the island. i'm assuming the avos don't have sufferage
cube root of 25k is around 29 so the parliament probably has about 30 seats. it's probably unicameral because why would they have two houses
here's what it looks like. the majority party is blue. a minority leftist party is red. there's a centrist party with 5 seats, and two single-issue parties with 1 seat: a party advocating everyone to live under the command of the supercomputer and a party for freeing the avos
of course the elections are all rigged to some extent
given many of the other places have kings it's possible corkus is the most free (country?) in wynncraft
(the wilds, i guess, are more free)
š¤
Considering Corkus is basically just a simpler, kinder allegory for western colonization, probably
are there more of things like this btw or like the lab where the talking mushroom was made etc, I like these little world building things- does anyone know of any more š„ŗ
Only abt 12 hours.. whereās the fruma smh smh
corkus doesnt have a king but as a fun fact it was originally planned to
i havent played this game in 2 years im being mandela effected
I always thought corkus had a constitutional monarchy since theres literally a castle with a throne
thats probably a relic from the original plans
there is of course also room for us to change our mind and add a monarch later
i theorized it was a remnant of their previous government
maybe they switched from a monarchy to a Republic to further get away from fruman roots
Bring Mama Zomble's memory to Dr. Picard's memory machine
God please do not add monarch for corkus the whole council and president thing make it unique from otjer civilization out there
Honestly what are the other civilizations
Wynn has no central leader?
Gavel has ??????
Silent Expanse is a theocracy if you think about it, Le Eye
Fruma is a monarchy we got that
Wynn has no central leader befause itās diffferent civilization in an alliance
The mistake is that you view each province as one whole thing
Gavel is consist will different spieces with their own civilization
So ofc they are not under one civilization and have their own leadership system
Villager is democratic
Dwarves are monarchy
Elves are using elder as leader
And more
Ragni, Troms, dwarves clan are under monarchy
villagers dont have a central authoritative body though dont they
afaik mayors of towns
nothings happening š
Does this do something?
Gavel has a king
Based in cinfras iirc
Remika was the first king of gavel
Itās more specifically an alliance of independent city-states, where while troms and ragni r monarchies like fruma (which they practically border) deltas/nesaak are vague, then almuj has a mayor i think but desert used to be empire, rymek is just⦠there
No????
If anything villagers are quite aristocratic
Detlas has a town council, Nesaak has no mention of governmental buildings so its essentially a libertarian paradise
yeah its mentioned here and there, not easy to pick up
The Gavellian monarchy was overthrown and replaced with a democracy I beleive, though likely a corrupt one.
They literally call themselves democracy
Idk what else to tell your
In game they call themselves democracy
Oh
Wait wher
Also nesaak is like a fishing village so like
Also thst part literally get overthrown as the other guy mention
Villager was once monarchy but later on get overthrown and replace with democratic
specifically, i think a Selchar NPC talks about the hour glasses in Selchar and Detlas mentions the town council giving in to popular demand to keep the hour glass up. It is also mentioned by Asher during some of the festivals, I think heroes and maybe bonfire
oh yeah that
forgot about those
but yeah Detlas having town council make sense
well not town council more like city council
consider the size of Detlas
is detlas city council nonpartisan or partisan
not much we know
not relaly sure tbh
but I imagine city council act as figurehead like Ragni king
while every wynn cities are lead more by millitary
consider the war going on for 1000 years
it could make sense that now the main leadership are handed to millitary
city council votes YES in 5-0 vote on deploying troops to ragni... is this the end for (the last vestiges of) democracy...
TBH I dont even think the city council would have a say in millitary operation
and act more as figure head to manage stuff like trade or the people
millitary operation in Wynn should be handle by the admiral
because like
I feel like it make more sense that way
sorry I was scamming you but I did wonder if some staff with a good sense of humor had thought of that as a joke or smth
So half scam half using you to test something because I am NOT Buying one of those
i have 4 of them
lmao
so uh
does anyone know of any other world secrets like the Talking Mushrooms origin or the teleporter next to Lusco etc?
theres a teleporter next to lusco?
Depend on how you view memories
it really depend if memories can be deleted or not
but consider Tasim capable of remembering about it after witnessing his own past
I think the memories were not extactly erase
but more of pushing back to your mind like forgetting kind of deal
i wonder if the inquisitor just collects memories and uses them against the captive
Is not that just shamnism or druidism
or whatever the outsourcing magical cost method call
Also the fact that memory can still be access
with dr picard doing his orb thing
implying that the memories were not taken or erase
and more of locking back of their mind
because if the memory did get taken or erase
there would be no memory for Dr. Picard to access to and view it
so I highly doubtthe memory wiping process is extactly erasure
so I highly doubt the method take anything from the victim
like looking from implication here
yeah literally like it would not make any sense if these memory were taken or erase or collect from the person
cause like
if they are
then how would Dr Picard magic orb thing access to it
would not it not work at all?
this implies that, for whatever reason, memory blocking is more effective than memory erasing. Probably because if something went awry with memory-wiping a person they could end up being basically lobotomized vs little risk of that happening with memory blocking (or so my head canon goes)
I reptty sure it would make moresense that memory erasure just harder or imposible to archive compare to memory blocking
also memory blocking probably would be big ass elephant to address compare to forgetting about it
but yeah so far I dont believe the whole
Fruma deleting memory bit
or taking memory theory
because the Recovery the Past quest suggest that it there in a person
able to be recover
(Hence the name of the quest)
u know that phenomenon where if u enter a doorway u forget about what u were just doing if ur not reminding urself? New theory is that that just happens to everyone passing through the gates lol (its a legit phenomenon irl)
lmao everyone assumes its a government conspiracy but its just Frumans being forgetful naturally
This goes in there with the theory that the reason that there are still Skyraider kids despite all Skyraiders being women is because Skyraiders reproduce by budding: direct flight to /dev/null
How do we know whose lab it is(?) (what items etc say thats his lab idk)
There was a massive hunt for it back in the day
....
Hey what do we suppose the GDP of Wynn is?
i have a theory...
there are many aspects that make up the world. light and darkness are but two of them. the portal to the realm of war is created where those two opposing forces meet...
but what if that's the case for other opposing forces, too?
what if in the physical world where wynn, fruma and gavel reside, there are more portals to the realm of war, because different forces on the plane of influence collide there? that'd make sense, right?
As far as I know, the portals were opened as a chain reaction when the former elders of Aldorei had well - taken down the Guardian of the Forest (which was basically the shield between the two realms or something like that), but in terms of other forces, I think the only forces are the Realm of Light and Realm of War; the latter of which is inacessible at the moment, but you can see part of it in the Silent Expanse
Essentially, the elves had connected with the Light for a long time, which did teach them morals but also selfishness; as opposed to the villagers' greed, therefore making them more isolated as they could not know who to trust with well - Aldorei's secrets
But as far as what I can answer; I don't know if there are more portals to the Realm of War, besides the one at the end of the Silent Expanse, but that's something to learn more in the future after Fruma
Today i found out that wynncrafts nether dimension is named crunkle dimension internally
In lore, i doubt almost anyone outside of Detlas has even seen a liquid emerald. Most people make their money through agriculture or trading. I suppose due to their biggest emerald mine turning into the literal Corruption Portal, there would be less emeralds mined and therefore less in circulation. For context, after you save the world from the influence of Wynnexcavation, the King of Ragni himself rewards you... 4 liquid emeralds. This isnt the King skimping out on rewarding you properly, to him, that is an massive amount of emeralds to reward you for essentially saving the world. By using this for reference, we can assume the coffers of Ragni alone is maybe 16 LE - a number not too high to be unbelievable, but not too low to make it seem the King is bankrupting his country to pay you. Because Ragni, as well as Troms and Detlas are on the richer side of Wynnic cities, these cities combined have about 48 LE in their coffers. Almuj is not as wealthy as these big three (as shown with their slums) so it might have 8 LE in their coffers. The remaining ~13 towns have maybe 1 LE put together. So to finally answer ur question, Wynn has about 57 LE in all of their coffers combined, which I feel is a good estimate on their GDP. Granted, this may seem like a lot, but its spread out across an entire province full of hundreds of people and almost 20 different settlements
So next time ur buying Silverbull shares, remember ur basically buying something worth almost half of the GDP of the entirety of Wynn
I think it would be interesting to go through all the quest rewards, rank how significant each npc felt the reward was to them, use that to guess the worth of each npc, and average that for regions and populations
Wynn's scaling is all wonky due to it being low level
Please do not thjnk anything about wynncraft economy
enemies and economy both
It fucking awful because golems literally cheap as dirt
To be fair.......
Even tho they are metal bememoth with people inside it
So that like
Thst the ground you working with
There are ways to explain away the golem problem
Also corkian technology affordable to olux farmers
well that's a problem with the golems not the Wynnic economy
Therr literally no way to explain how golems can be so cheap
oo?
where I think I missed this
Consider what went into their production
There is house in olux with corkian draining system
Fuck someone in Nemract can afford corkian architecture
it seems old
wait
was the broad existence of Corkus as we know it today extablished before or after the Decay made Olux what it is?
The fact that both human and villager use the same currency before they met is fucked up to begin with
The ocean was traversable in 900 ap
So it post decay
decay didn't immediately get bad did it?
and its referenced to still be spreading
so I assume it took quite a while to get as bad as it is today
do we know when fruma was established?
Also the fact that a fishing village stuck in snow zone can afford multiple golems is
Impossible no matter how you look at it
So as Nemract if we lead to believe they are that poor
their guards should be using hunting gear as makeshift weapons realistically
Yeah but like parasite arrive in 0 AP
So it got 900 years before the corkian could come into contact with gavel
Decay canāt be that slow
And by the year 800 Ap or something
Parasite would leave to rol
poor port city seems like a paradox
esp since it's the ONLY port city
It fine because Nemract got Detlas as competition
So it make sense to be that poor
Silverbull company is based in gavel, and should be accounted for in its gdp no?
ok good point
but that would imply that Nemract was once not poor bcs it was the only port then no?
we see no point in Nemract's history (apart from ancient Nemract) that it was ever rich unless I missed something
Ofc they not poor but consider what happen to their older city
Yeah they fucked
Ancient Nemract is older than that I thought
Also btw ocean only open after 900 AP
I just wish we could buy shares in other things
Zhight island shares would be great.
So the port in Nemract back then likely only use for fishing
fell to ruin closer to 0AP, at least a couple hundred years before oceans traversible?
By the time ocean is open, Nemract just shadow of itself
Not couple hundred years
900 years
Mage Island wizards have way too much weight in that one action lol
Mage island is strange
ok fine several hundred years before
I donāt want to consider it
Itās existence just make 0 sense so like
Screw it
Wynn lore is screwed because the game wasn't made with it in mind
and it never can stop bothering us
So yeah economy of wynncraft is prettr fucked up so now we have no idea
Also btw their money literally like
Gem mine from the mine
Not process
Or minted
Literal gem like
That not fucking working
This shit aināt clash of clans
Wynncraft 2 releases in 10 years to try to fix the lore inconsistencies
that or we just more retcons over that time until half the original lore is gone and the conflicts are mostly gone
The tier 10 emeralds pouch can hold 100 million pounds worth of emeralds
4stx=256le=16384blocks
At 2760kg/cubic meter is 45 million, convert to pounds
Now we have 29 slots to hold these pouches.
About 3 BILLION pounds.
Add this to the powerscaling guys!
corkus economy is doing great actually
Also it impossible to think emerald block is literal 64 emeralds clump together
Befause thst like saying
20 baht paper is 20 1 baht coins clump together
And no way people in universe carry a bottle consistent of 64 eb so it likely all minted
Ok but whats funnier
This is old stuff
Carrying literal compact money would be funny yes but that brought so many quest in economy I donāt wanna deal with it
Like ofc we gotta make wynncraft emerald its own thing
Rather than basing off irl emerald
Which is fine
what are emeralds even backed by
is it like gold where the backing is that people think it's valuable all around the world?
Peobably consider Wynn human and gavel villager use jt before they meet
i know how the portals opened, but that doesn't exactly rule out the possibility of there being more than 3 realms, or more than one portal to the realm of war (not the realm of darkness!)
I think this is dated lore
That got scrap when Aldorei secrect part 2 remake
So now we donāt even know wtf light religion stuff all about
Wow it would be so cool world buildinn and enchance certainly character
If we got to learn what the light is to the population of elves
If only the light being use more to be part of elven culture
oh okay
And not have generic elves city being use as reference for Aldorei
That would be very nice
When and where was Ancient Wynnic first translated by the community? Is there any documentation of this project?
You get an Ancient Wynnic translator by doing all the Wynn Plains discovery.
Ancient Wynnic was implemented in the same update as the translator was introduced.
Though Ancient Wynnic itself is older than it's in-game implementation
It was first used in the original Gavel update teasers I think
and then as enchanting table particles in the resource pack and that's probably when it was first deciphered
Deusphage has explicitly confirmed that there are only three
i see. that's a bit disappointing
definitely not scrapped, that's how the quest plays out even now. i did that quest recently, like 4 days ago or so
do you mean aldorei secrect part 1?
because I literally do not recall it playing out like that in the current iteration
nope, part 2
the quest with olon and elven immortality, no?
yes
they state that the elder prometheus ordered for the guardian to be cut down to reveal the secret to the realm of light. this opened the portal to the realm of light, which subsequently also caused the portal to the realm of darkness and the realm of war to open
yeah that what happen yes
the aldorei elders very explicitly state they are the cause of the decay and the corruption
yes that what they said
then where is the problem exactly?
because they said the old lore where elves were suppoes to be oppose to villager's greed back then
which is old lore
that's true, but the person i talked to didn't mention that, did they?
also I dont think they clearify the whole selflessness in current Aldorei's secrect part 2
?
anyway
i think they were referring to the fact that in the current iteration of wynncraft, villagers can still be quite greedy
so far have to figure out how dragon should be protray in wynncraft
other iteration is not that good
lot of thing need to be redesign
I need to focus more on body diversity between dragons
this is no longer the case from what I speak to CT
well not to the extent of the old greediness of villager because back then decay happen because of them
somehow
no yeah, i'm not saying the decay is their greed's fault; just that villagers can be quite greedy, which mirrors the elves' own greed
too bad the current iteration of elves are not that anymore but whatever
i'd say they were very greedy and selfish in their history. and even if they are not so much now, aldorei is not innocent whatsoever lol
I think you misunderstood what I am saying
you confusing the actual lore timeline and the development timeline
Aight so I found an interesting plot hole for people to ponder over.
In RoL4 Lari says that elves are forbidden to enter Cinfras.
In AS2, Olon is able to walk through the guild hall just fine, and even talk to a couple people along the way. They are not detained or kicked out.
Back then earlier development when Gavel was fresh
elves way back in pre rework Aldorei secrect was meant to be contrast to the villager back then
but that was not the case in current canon
maybe it's not necessarily elves in general, but aldorei elves that aren't allowed into cinfras?
Is Olon not from Aldorei?
olon and the other efilim elves were exiled from aldorei. olon also has friends in the guild hall
No she saidj ust elves
whichi s like
whatever I guess
Not like ROL story make sense at any point
consider the whole ROL 4 section only there just to give Lari justified crashout
Yea Lari didn't specify any kind of elf, she just said elf
she did. i'm just speculating whether it could be fixed with a simple explanation
That would make a lot of sense
maybe she doesn't know that efilim elves aren't looked down upon lol
Especially given the cultures and personalities of the two towns
she's been quite... busy, afterall
Efilim is a lot more chill, and so Cinfras is probably fine because they're not entering the town spreading their elf politics to anybody
yeah, it's likely cinfras sees efilim as an ally instead of the enemy like aldorei, considering efilim is the enemy to aldorei also lmao
They probably see Aldorei elves as stuck up and haughty
the enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that
because they are
the first aldorei's secret quest shattered that perfect elven society image pretty quickly i should say
That quest still makes no sense to me
I'm talking about AS1
i think it makes sense enough, i liked that quest though
korben i could never snitch on you
wow cool
That's the thing, we spend the whole quest on a goose chase and (from my experience) never saw anything that broke down the "perfect society"
That's all in AS2
When the lore is revealed to us in a convenient cutscene
it was the way korben talked about how he wouldn't be able to get his father help because it would alert the other elves he'd been in efilim
and that would have resulted in their exile
I also don't pay attention to character dialogue
that's why things don't make sense to you, my friend
At least not much
:D
it's pretty messed up to exile your own people because they visited family in another town
Real
AS1 is outadted quest that did not get remake along side AS2
so ASII was not very surprising to me anymore at that point
and even then AS2 was remake without conisderation of AS1
so thing misjointed because fo that
it is what it is
it's like... fine? i'm not sure what the problem is
okay
anyway as of rn thing will get rewrite as time goes on
most quest pre lootrun update kinda
eh
God need to figure out how to fit wyvern and stuff in
Why does everything drop emeralds
gameplay
Pain
what
do you actually expecting there lore behind basic ass gameplay mecahnic that literally almot every single video game has?
I accidentally typed that earlier
Cause I needed to use the bathroom
Anyways is there anything on the moon
emeralds in bloodstream trust me bro
Dang
I was hoping for evil ritual that turns souls of the slain to emeralds
wait ok hear me out
everything in wynn is silica-based life using emeralds to carry oxygen through the bloodstream because the planet wynn is on has high amounts of beryllium
...so npcs are literally buying blood. its blood money.
