originally 2.1 did try to retain 1.16 support but stuff like the colossus boss made it technologically infeasible

we were still able to have custom mob models but they couldnt be scaled up and they were really scuffed because they used armor stands

animations had a lot less frames. definitely the worst version to play on

• vulcor adrenophage: i think if it was upside-down at the top of the ceiling and drops down, it adds a certain creepy factor to the spider-looking thing.
• orange wybel (the models are outdated btw): when you leave the orange wybel just activates a remote to close the door behind you, and becomes the boss from there

Plague lab shows the doctor over a cauldren or at a brewing stand mid experiment, tribal sancutary plays a short animation of a corpse crawling to life. Arena of legends idk just have grand magus teleport in or something. Blade of shade see it phasing in and out of invisibility getting closer, like a weeping angel or something. Skien shows the badge spinning on the altar summoning the revenant. Geyser pit have the bot mine in from a wall or from the floor and stare at you. Aerie of Recluse i have no damn clue, maybe adamastor flies in behind you and sees you with the Urdar. Panic Zealot already has an intro, although not an animated one

The innate superiority complex, the egocentric priorities, the dismissal and condescendingly angry tone of how he responds to those he deems lesser than him, it all checks out

and he does go out of his way to help people, he saves the little girl in fate of the fallen, even if he is constantly pissed off about if

Pottery Wheel has him building up his ego and actively scaring the people of nesaak while also praising them in like the most manipulative way possible. Torn in Twain we just talked about. And Twains downfall has a full on anime fight scene break out that feels really natural and in character

I could imagine that his brothers grew to understand themselves better in long periods of time, whilst Theorick must’ve been much quicker in terms of his technique’s development. He’d watch his brothers, wise and patient, take their time to understand themselves, taking full inspiration from Marius, as well as being kinder to Mael, and construe it as a waste of time. “Why waste your time coddling those who aren’t already perfect, like how I was?”

After reading the journal in Lexdale, we've been wondering about the spread of the decay. How fast does it happen? For how long was Old Lexdale affected by it before it got overrun by beasts? It seems like things got gradually worse between 953 and 966 although they were clearly already unable to farm normally before that. The nest of the parasite is very close to it though, should Old Lexdale not have had severe attacks by mobs long before already?

Also, is the decay still spreading East? I know about Lari's barrier but that's just to prevent it from spreading South, right?

Corruption has been around so long that people have just normalized it, a normal apocalypse. The decay obviously still going on but not being as impactful as the other ones. It just sort of rots crops (unclear if the kander forest being like that is due to the decay or being so close to the parasite cocoon) . The silent expanse very much got apocalypsed by being conquered by darkness. Every region kinda has their own mini-apocalypse going on

Just because dark is default in the real world, doesn’t mean the Concept of Darkness in wynn is default. the void is incredibly dark yet it is also neutral until acted upon by Greg in TNA, who makes the TNA part of the void “darkness territory”

corruption in wynn is the byproduct of light and dark fighting, hence wynn being the realm of war. Although why corruption only started existing once the portals opened is a little weird since RoL 4 and the light forest ultimate imply they’ve been fighting for a lot longer

Orphion does imply darkness is stronger though, or atleast it is at the current point we play in wynn. “Dark precedes Light, it is the nature of things, i feel the shade may regret throwing away its power on this diversion, come the inevitable sunrise”
