I need some mechanical advice from anyone who knows what they’re doing

I have a 2012 VW CC sport 2.0T and I got a check engine light and when I ran the code through VCDS I got “Intake Manifeid Flap Position Sensor (bank 1) P2015 - 000 - Implausible Signal - MIL ON” This was after I swapped in a new PCV which I’m not sure if that caused it though. So I found out that there is a service warranty for PZEV which mine is after I checked in the engine bay in California when I had called a dealership. But they said that diagnostic would be 205. Cause they need to make sure it is?? Is it the intake manifold? And would it be covered under this. Or whatever is causing this code to appear be covered? The doesn’t feel rough on idle or lurching. I don’t smell or see anything also under the engine cover where the pcv sits. Idk what to do and I just want some other opinions and voices.

Ill try to give some advice, though im not that smart with newer cars

your intake manifold flap sensor?

i think that it could be literally just a sensor, if your intake manifold was broken, i think that you would know that without going into diagnostics lol

knowing how sensitive newer cars are, i wouldnt be surprised if when u installed the pcv, it not really messed up stuff, but more confused a sensor or two.

(sensitive i mean like how much technology there is in a car nowadays)

for newer cars like that, unless you literally have worked at the dealership, you kinda need the dealership to fix them for you (in my opinion). nothing wrong with that, i just prefer slightly older cars and how easy it is to work on them.
