so my project truck for those who dont know is a amalgamation of a 1981 ford f100 that sits on a 90s(still a mystery) chassis with a buncha jank attached to it. Now, I found out that the engine (ford 300 inline 6) isnt even the original. the distributor cap thats on there is the one that they used on those 300s in the 60s. so now I have a 1981 ford f100 with a ford 300 thats 20 years older than the body on a chassis that could be 10 years younger than the body and 30 years younger than the engine. it has power steering that never came with the f100 at all, 4wd that also never came with it. Its a shit ton of jank thats somehow still in one piece. Hopefully It will be running by next week and driving in the next 2-3 weeks or so. just a little update lmao

well originally there was a holley 4bbl 390 in there, but it was not starting, and it drank waayyy too much just cranking over, so we got a no name 2bbl to see if that would work, and it started to leak gas from the carb gaskets and the carb itself

which is just so nice
