The report in question is about a Searching BOT / Map BOT, where the player, through external tools, automates their movement across the map and their search for Pokémon. As shown in the video, the character "GL/desruc" displays synchronized and standardized movement patterns.
Since this kind of pattern might go unnoticed at first glance, the recording was made at different moments and placed side by side for comparison, making the identical macro-like behavior more noticeable. There may be a slight difference of a few milliseconds, likely pre-programmed in the script to try to "humanize" the movement and avoid automated detection. Additionally, wall collisions can interfere with the synchronization. It’s worth noting that my recordings had minor lag as well, but nothing that prevents the observation of the repeated script pattern.
According to the game rules:
"You may not use any software (including browser debugging/developer tools, browser extensions, and macro/hotkey tools) to automate any aspect of gameplay."
For this reason, I am submitting this report so it can be reviewed by the moderation team, as it appears to involve a breach of the rules.
The video provided is only a short comparison clip, but there is an extended version where the exact same sequential movement persists for a longer period.
Since there was recently a warning regarding automation in the official Discord quiz, it’s reasonable to believe that map automation wouldn't be a challenge for the same player.
