When i click on any of the following: Normal/Dark/Mystic etc. the search filter resets.

Order it alphabetically and they’ll all be together in the last pages

Yeah, change team was rebuilt more recently so it doesn't work the same.
The variant options on view all Pokemon are basically search bar shortcuts so when you select one, it searches for "Mystic %" so it can't work with another word put into the actual search bar, they cancel each other out.
This was intended behaviour at the time and works as expected.
Fast forward some years to when I remade change team, I made it a bit more intuitive.
When I revisit View all Pokemon at some point, I'll make it work the same as Change Team.
