Mega Evolution (revert)

It would be great to reverse the mega evolution and in doing so lose the mega stone. And be able to mega evolve again by buying a new mega stone.

True, some of us just want to have some Pokemon without mega evolving. Also, mega evolutions in some games and anime are not permanent.

why not just catch the same Pokemon

only valuable pokemons that have mega evolutions are
Aerodactyl (Mega)
Mewtwo (Mega X)
Mewtwo (Mega Y)
Latias (Mega)
Latios (Mega)
Diancie (Mega)
but there mega evolution stones are relativly cheap.
rest are common or rare pokemons that are not that hard to catch
so i do not see point in reverting it back

if you are only person that needs it, then adding additional function for one or two pokemons that you will use once or twice does not sound worth time developing

And you still have not told any valid reason why this idea would be improvement to gameplay ( that is for all players that play this game, not You only) that would validate spending time and effort in adding this function to game.
