I’ve noticed that many of the current outfits in the shop are very gooner-oriented—very revealing, overly sexualized, and not really fitting every player’s taste.

I would really love to see more pretty, elegant skins with more cloth such as long coats, robes, layered fantasy armor, and magical or noble-looking dresses—basically outfits that feel adventurous and stylish without looking like lingerie.

Not every player wants to run around in extremely revealing designs, and having a wider range of aesthetics would make customization much more enjoyable and inclusive.

Am sorry but this demand is based on either bias or misinformation. I took time now to go into the closet and check the SET tab; which nicely lets you see all the outfits currently in the game.

The overwhelming majority of them, and by that I mean some 83% are not even close to being considered "gooner-oriented-very revealing, overly sexualized". The remaining 17% is from what I see around 15% maybe sexualized depending on your character body shape, as it shows cleavage and some exposed thigh on few. Maybe 2% I would put in the Gooner Overly Sexualized. It is in fact easier to point out these as outliers than the opposite.

The one that is most sexualized, is the store bought Snowy Sheer, probably one that sold most too. That one you could point to, and maybe you see it often. The others; Tech Biker? If big of exposed midriff and some cleavage are considered "gooner" then we are cooked as society. But very few outfits show belly at this point. And again if cleavage is the issue, the issue is with every young girl walking outside in summer. Same for Leather Crop Fit, that everyone got now because 1 Kinah apology. That will be considered sexualized, but far from gooner bait. I feel the reason you think it is a very sexualized game atm is because everyone has these outfits.

No-nonsense Maid I would place in the 15% sexualized, but not overly sexualized. Ascension Daeva maybe too if am generous to your point. Next you will find Kromede's Desire and Skyfeather Guardian and perhaps Hallowed Promise, next to Snowy Sheer I would put those in that 2% overly sexualized. So that will be some 4 outfits out of 127 that you could say are overly sexualized. Some 20 you could say are sexualized because cleavage, the rest is very much what you already asked for, far from lingerie or "gooner" outfits.

If you want to convince us that this game is overly sexualized you will end up trying to convince us that cleavage alone is "gooner bait design", and good luck with that.
What you should be asking for is easier ways of obtaining the outfits in the game as skins, as that will let you have your desired fashion sorted.

But again, claiming that this game has many very revealing outfits is just categorically and objectively false. If you disagree, please show here these outfits and you will see that they are very few next to the rest. And if cleavage is such an issue, just dont make it a big factor for your character to have cleavage in character creator.

Ive spent like $1000 on naraka outfits while not having the urge to buy any of the current available ones in aion 2. Its a fantasy game nontheless. If you look at bns (retail) they have added 700+ outfits within 3 years and most of them were at least decent and buyable

You did not point out in your OP that it is a bout Store outfits which makes it seems as if the entire game is one big gooner fest. The game is not even a month old and it is too early to judge the store outfits. Now I can understand your desire to have more fantasy themed outfits that fit the theme and setting, but I would be against putting those outfits in the store, I want those outfits to be something I can win inside the game for playing it. I feel that is the case atm. The developers probably have a similar mindset where they want to split the store K-pop anything goes fashion scene from the lore accurate Aion like fashion in the ingame outfits. One you pay for the others you play for.

So again I feel that you should ask to keep these; fantasy elegant skins with cloth and long coats, robes, layered fantasy armor, magical dresses etc. as something to work towards inside the actual game. The store, in the store anything goes. The maid, the schoolgirl, the nun, the bikini, the nurse, the bunny girl etc, all of these you will prolly see at some point too, it might break immersion but that is another topic.

The bottom line is that you have options, we have options and I argue that it is overwhelmingly in your favor at this point. Best way to vote is with your wallet too. Dont buy what you dont like. And I would also repeat; it is better to try ask easier access to ingame skins, as they are hell to obtain with 25% rate of success when extracting. That will help you have your desired look.

Now the actual problem is that the skins you buy in the store are ready and available on the spot, while farming for the actual full set to have as a skin will cost you lots of time, and that time is something I think people should complain about instead.

I want people to entertain the idea that within the world of Atreia, beautiful people living there will at one point figure out that it is beneficial to dress in a revealing way for whatever purpose. As well as it is beneficial to wear least clothing possible when going for a swim. As much as you believe the theme is exclusively robes armors and similar. The reality of a realistic fantasy is that there is sexy and lewd sometimes in it too. So I dont think arguing from the perspective of lore or world would entirely eliminate sexy or "gooner" outfits as was shown from Aion 1.

Another thing to consider at this game is the following: this game is a high mythological european fantasy game when it comes to art-style. It promotes Gods, perfectly beautiful humans, angels, demons. Sexualized outfits are natural in a game like this.
Its not a game like WoW, with cartoonish disney-like art-style with intended ugly goblins, orcs, dwarfs, in which such “sexualized outfits” wouldn’t fit even 1%.

The main problem is the unclear wording in the OP, it frames the game as entirely lacking in fantasy themed outfit in favor of overly sexualized ones. Which, if you take a moment to check the outfits in the closet and the sets is inaccurate, as there is an overwhelming majority of classical fantasy armors, robes and dresses, most entirely tame. The few that stick out are mainly in store and they somehow seem to be the problem and the entire game is somehow already unfair and "goon" slop.

Now the OP actually wants just more fantasy themed outfits in the Shop, which is fair, but then somehow this sentiment of attacking people that enjoy the revealing skins has become the topic of the morally virtuous and enlightened. Attacking the game that simply follows into footsteps of its predecessor. It is a Korean MMO, like any and all of them it will have fan service. People are jumping into water and complaining that it is wet, while blaming others as the reason for the said water being wet.

An appreciation for beauty and a healthy libido doesnt equal "gooning"; that is projection. Adults can appreciate and enjoy beautiful characters and outfits without instantly falling into lust and "goon", they will find other more explicit media if they need that. So again, projection. People don't need to see sex in everything even if it is sexy.

As I said, this game has overwhelming amount of non sexualized outfits, the main issue is that the Store ones will prevail as they are easy to access with the wallet powers. Try complete a set from one of the dungeons and try get the set as skin, see how long it takes you. This is what the complaint should be, the insane difficulty to actually obtain the items that are there for free as skins. Some of them granted you can get through tokens in other stores in the games (season, shugo shop etc). Still a heavy grind. You will struggle to have the desired look as the RNG is simply horrid.

I believe the variety is there but it is locked behind so much RNG that it is virtually inaccessible. So I dont blame you for wanting it in store. This was my experience also, running the Draupnir exploration some 20 times and not a single piece of Transcendent set dropped. And that is just lowly lvl 57 armor. At some 3% drop rate and 10% to turn it into a skin, can we ever have these outfits as skins actually? Forget about full set....

All I know is, most video game costumes/outfits are already much more sexualized than anything you see irl, I can't really deny that I prefer it that way.

It's almost inevitable that there will be more and more sexualized outfits, especially those that are overtly, and overly so. They know it sells well, they know it appeals to their audience, just look at how they released two sheer camis back to back, it's basically just a recolor.

And honestly there in lies the problem for me. All these lacy, strappy, lingerie outfits get repetitive and boring. There's only so much you can do with croptops, bodysuits, etc when you have to keep it a non 18+ game.
