New year new me, and hopefully a new scenario that I will not abandon
The capital and biggest city is Shorberg, obviously located on the capital island.
There is also a pedestrianised street in the middle, which due to the city's request will not have any buses, though we got permission for trams to run.
The first tram and bus stops have been constructed!
The plan is that in the future more shopping centers will build some shops in the North Shopping Center, hopefully boosting economy
The first tram line (T01) between North Shopping Center - Western End using Progress 3 trams has started, per the city's request it is running from 4 to midnight, and in the midday using 10 minute frequency.
The first bus line (B01) between North Shopping Center - Bus Depot using Ikraus 282 buses has started, per the city's request it is also running like the tram line, though it is running on the higher frequency until 18:00 compared to the trams which are only until 17:00
A 45 minute frequency bus line is now running to Dunhattan-on-sea using Ikarus EAG E94 "Swan" buses which are actually pretty new!
Some nightly services has also been added to the city bus and tram lines.
The North Shopping Center has expanded with a major train station and some more shops!
The first rail line has also started, it is a one track (though two in some stations) running with DB Talent stock, specifically two of them. Currently it runs on 45 minute intervals, and 90 minute during the night. It runs between Shorberg North Shopping Center - St Gostock Heath
There is also a ton of passengers wanting to travel on the regional bus line, so more buses/bigger buses will be needed
The Swans are slowly getting replaced with Stork 🔥
To further help the congestion, two more Stork buses have been added, and the schedule has been shortened a bit (does not go through the city center one way) allowing a 25 minute frequency all-day, and a one hour frequency through the night
The congestion is gone for now
The most western city in the Capital Island is said to have the biggest Bus Terminus, it will run buses across the entire island!
A housing developement has also been built in St. Gostock, as it is a bit far away they are relying on us to provide them transportation
St Gostocks first bus line has started running! It is using 3 Ikarus 415 buses, running on a 30 minute interval.
After some scheduling madness, I have managed to fit in a Regional-Express, once the tracks are extended it will run further.
This involved:
Partial double track between Farnston and Carnston (not because of the REX but because I found out the Regional lines meet there and conflict there)
Double track between North Shopping Center - Sesdhattan
This Regional Express will stop at:
Shorberg NSC - Dronburg - Farnston - St Gostock
It stops everywhere for 3 minutes, except at St Gostock.
For now it runs every 90 minutes, requiring 1 DB BR 628, it is coupled with another for capacity.
It now completely skips the city center, but it goes until St Gostock
The second ever regional bus line is also running using 4 Swan buses, on a 30 minute interval. It also goes between Shorberg - St Gostock, but on a different route!
Further plans are now to expand west!
An another new upgrade is that a segment between St Gostock and Dunhattan has been upgraded to Class B allowing higher speed limits, and a smoother ride!
Hey, you missed st.glowstock east on the way back
There's a small shortcut it can take, though I'll make it so it is served in both direction towards Overstable and back.
Thanks for saying this though!!
