Very nice pics, I really like those super narrow streets and the old buildings.

Have you been shocked by its width? It is very wide compared to UK trains

placid crescent
#

It was one of the first trains I ever went on

#

And I’ve been on it easily 10+ times

#

As much as i like it it is also entirely unremarkable to me

Litra H built in 1868

#

VNTJ litra 9 of 1925 and a plough

#

CO person wagon of 1900 but the design dates to the 1870s

#

Litra O of 1898

#

Litra B or some version thereof

#

EA, denmarks first electric locomotive of the mid 80s still used today but not by DSB

#

Litra E of 1950, built in Denmark but a clone of a Swedish litra F, which DSB also operated some of, as the E

#

What may also be the E

#

A railcar, unknown, likely of the 1920s

#

A very old carriage and a wagon, the green on the door leads me to suspect that the carriage was used on a Copenhagen railway

unkempt goblet
placid crescent
#

Litra MS, Danish equivalent of the flying hamburgler or whatever

placid crescent
#

The Cc and BU, both parts of what i personally call the 30s stock, Cc is a normal carriage and BU is a restaurant or dance carriage, i forget

#

MO, the first MO were built in the mid 30s capable of going 120kph with 500hp and hauling 3 carriages or 6 between 2 MO units, this is an MO II, MO could be seen with CL+CLE or even Bn+Bns, i think also the MO could be seen with the CR and related wooden carriages of that era with the right cables, they were retired in the 80s with the introduction of the MR

#

Goofy traktor

#

Y Tog from mjbad, capable of about 80kph versions of these could be seen in anything from 1 to 5 car sets, the design dates to the 60s and were used across Denmark, the last line to run them is Lemvigbanen and they’re due for imminent withdrawal in favour of new battery trains - denmarks first

#

Another goofy thing

#

CLE for the aforementioned MO, CLE is a driving carriage

#

More including an MY in the original style livery

Models of the MX, Frichs MY and IC5 prototype

Of each of these vehicles only 2 were made and only one MX survives today unless some parts of the IC5 still exist in the Middle East

The MX was an early diesel locomotive from 1928-32, like many of this era it never went into full production

The Frichs MY was a Danish ego soothing attempt to not be reliant on the Swedish MY from nohab, they were apparently comfortable to drive, thus proving the Danes should stick to making chairs, due to their failure though DSB quietly scraped them both around 1970

The IC5 was a carriage set ment to be used with the ME and was part of the same design program as the ME and EA, i think the 3rd S train too, the carriage set was also seen with the MZ, the sets were designed to go on ferries but were both too long and heavy for this, apparently they were very comfortable though, again proving the Danes should stick to making chairs, the idea behind the IC5 would lead to the IC3 and IR4 trainsets of the late 80s and 90s, these trains had teething problems but are very comfortable, finally proving that the Danes should stick to chairs

#

The bust is of the queen of Denmark 1947?-1972, she was the mother to the current retired queen and grandmother to the current king

#

Not entirely sure when Christian 10 died but i know it was in the 40s after the war

#

The MY were Denmarks premier locomotives from the mid 50s to the late 60s and saw use with DSB into the 90s, they started to be sold off to private railways in the late 80s, many still exist today in Denmark but also Sweden, they’re pretty easy to find in Denmark, even hard to avoid, similar locomotives were also bought by NSB, CFL, NMBS and MÁV

The red and black locomotive in the image is of an early delivery which had less powerful engines than those in the 1964 delivery however i don’t know what engine this one had as engines were swapped between locos which sometimes resulted in a litra MV
