lore
Hell yeah
You all know the idea of these, i spam travel and food pics
Welcome
From the other day)
Really nice skies
Currently at Middlesbrough
But it isn’t my final destination
Quietest English train
Not as fancy as an IC3
Two 156 together and they’re practically empty
Wasn’t
Really? Those seats look soft
The purple ones ? No
They are hard?
Somewhat
Really nice! Is this a heritage railway or an exhibition?
Interesting
Heritage but the autocar is from elsewhere
Really cool
I love how dark and winter-ish everything looks. That lampost photo is amazing
Is that like a private yard?
The tank is just in someone’s garden
What does it do?
You drive the train from it
I can't
lmao
Good pics, they remind me of Colonia Del Sacramento
Specially the little cannon
These are lovely too
Ooooh, what is this?
Some light event that was on in my town today and yesterday
Looks very cool
omg that owl
Look nice
Ooh, what is that? Looks interesting
Very nice pics, I really like those super narrow streets and the old buildings.
Massive ominous concrete rectangle
Have you been shocked by its width? It is very wide compared to UK trains
Nah
It was one of the first trains I ever went on
And I’ve been on it easily 10+ times
As much as i like it it is also entirely unremarkable to me
why do they look so wide? the X50s are wider but feel smaller
Narrow seats it seems
Soon
Soon what
\o/
nice
Cool class 91 livery
Couldn’t get closer to take a better photo because I’m a 3 dimensional being
You should have more dimensions
It's 2025
Beautiful pics tho
flight number?
Idk, was Ryanair leaving at 1210
Can find later

have fun man
Where is this?
???
This is the IC3 right?
It does
4 vehicles operate in Denmark with the same front design
IC2 (non dsb) IC3 IR4 and the Øresundstog
DSB also has an IC2
But it’s like the IC4
Lokaltog run the IC2 thats like the IC3
window hang the cabin window
the cab you walkt trough with the opened frontay have a openable side window
the belgian ones do atleast
luxury
That B&B said on Apple Maps “Price ££££”
Nice
Probably the best burger I’ve eaten
Meat looks like it's been cooked the way I like it
Smash burgers are very good when done right
Very nice
I love burgers personally
What's a frikadeller?
It of course didn’t have frikadeller but i decided to order something anyway
They’re Danish meatballs
Meatball is a vague concept
@rapid widget YUUUUTYTTTOOOONNNGGG!¡!!!
Extreme Denmark fapping
Mostly Sweden
Oh okay
You can see i got a boat twice
Everything between that is Sweden
Though i do agree
Skåne should be Denmark
@light wedge
Skåne IS Denmark
Yutong buses are quite common here. Basically most of the single deckers
YUTTTTOOOOONNNNGGG!!!! 🥰
Was that pølse as good as it looks?
man you actually managaed to make my opinion on denmark better
iot actually looks pretty cool
End of Sunday
Brede
Roskilde
End of Monday
Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek
Malmø
More Sverigay and Helsingør
L
Common Nærumsbanen L
HCA stuff and Odense
And now the museum
Litra H built in 1868
VNTJ litra 9 of 1925 and a plough
CO person wagon of 1900 but the design dates to the 1870s
Litra O of 1898
Litra B or some version thereof
A sleeping carriage
More B, CO, O and other stuff
EA, denmarks first electric locomotive of the mid 80s still used today but not by DSB
Litra E of 1950, built in Denmark but a clone of a Swedish litra F, which DSB also operated some of, as the E
What may also be the E
A railcar, unknown, likely of the 1920s
Front of a first generation S train
Assorted fancy stuff
A very old carriage and a wagon, the green on the door leads me to suspect that the carriage was used on a Copenhagen railway
Quite beautiful
The Cc and BU, both parts of what i personally call the 30s stock, Cc is a normal carriage and BU is a restaurant or dance carriage, i forget
MO, the first MO were built in the mid 30s capable of going 120kph with 500hp and hauling 3 carriages or 6 between 2 MO units, this is an MO II, MO could be seen with CL+CLE or even Bn+Bns, i think also the MO could be seen with the CR and related wooden carriages of that era with the right cables, they were retired in the 80s with the introduction of the MR
Goofy traktor
Y Tog from mjbad, capable of about 80kph versions of these could be seen in anything from 1 to 5 car sets, the design dates to the 60s and were used across Denmark, the last line to run them is Lemvigbanen and they’re due for imminent withdrawal in favour of new battery trains - denmarks first
Another goofy thing
CLE for the aforementioned MO, CLE is a driving carriage
More including an MY in the original style livery
nice
Models of the MX, Frichs MY and IC5 prototype
Of each of these vehicles only 2 were made and only one MX survives today unless some parts of the IC5 still exist in the Middle East
The MX was an early diesel locomotive from 1928-32, like many of this era it never went into full production
The Frichs MY was a Danish ego soothing attempt to not be reliant on the Swedish MY from nohab, they were apparently comfortable to drive, thus proving the Danes should stick to making chairs, due to their failure though DSB quietly scraped them both around 1970
The IC5 was a carriage set ment to be used with the ME and was part of the same design program as the ME and EA, i think the 3rd S train too, the carriage set was also seen with the MZ, the sets were designed to go on ferries but were both too long and heavy for this, apparently they were very comfortable though, again proving the Danes should stick to making chairs, the idea behind the IC5 would lead to the IC3 and IR4 trainsets of the late 80s and 90s, these trains had teething problems but are very comfortable, finally proving that the Danes should stick to chairs
Front of an IC2 or IC4, likely caused by an oopsie poopsie
Very good lore drop, which one is which in the pics?
MX is the 2-4-2 thing that looks like an Ae 4/7, MY is the CoCo, IC5 is the set of 3 carriages above the silver train, irl they were made of 5 carriages, not 3, hence the name
The bust is of the queen of Denmark 1947?-1972, she was the mother to the current retired queen and grandmother to the current king
Not entirely sure when Christian 10 died but i know it was in the 40s after the war
The MY were Denmarks premier locomotives from the mid 50s to the late 60s and saw use with DSB into the 90s, they started to be sold off to private railways in the late 80s, many still exist today in Denmark but also Sweden, they’re pretty easy to find in Denmark, even hard to avoid, similar locomotives were also bought by NSB, CFL, NMBS and MÁV
The red and black locomotive in the image is of an early delivery which had less powerful engines than those in the 1964 delivery however i don’t know what engine this one had as engines were swapped between locos which sometimes resulted in a litra MV
A shelf of spunk
Ir4 right?
Cute
Hell yeah I got it right
Ehy didn't you steal these models and mail them to me?
