Hot fix is 2.3.7
firmware is 5.12.4
Copied in to documents. ran the ebook failed with error as per title. .sh deleted itself. tried copying in .sh again still failed.
Tried mounting root rw and executing from ssh still same error.
Tried disabling airplane mode and doing the same (as it obviously needs wifi). Same error.

Sorry If I have not done enough research. Kindle is pw3

You also downloaded the KindleForge folder and put it in releases, right?

the .sh never deletes itself in the code

that would be a hotfix issue
