I've got a 5th gen PW (PW1) running 5.6.1.1.
I successfully (as far as I can tell) got Winterbreak to work.
Just found on https://github.com/KindleTweaks/KindleForge that I need to be above 5.6.1.1.
I'm pretty sure that means I'm SOL. Is there any other way forward?

Although you can technically make it work on 5.6.1.1 it requires sh, js, and CSS changes which I can't test
Eventually I might make you guys a build but I want it get 4.0.9 down first and it won't be actively maintained

When installing KF, I got the Application Error "The selected application could not be started. Please try again."
After a couple hours of fiddling, I just realized that this is my issue as well 😅. In all fairness I did get this device in 2012 so it is what it is. It's amazing you're keeping up with all this stuff, penguins. Kudos to you, mate.
