- Juan Pablo Montoya

- Ayrton Senna
whwat
I can’t
I don’t watch many Motorsports
But I do think that valentino Rossi should be up there
That's fair, in place of who?
He's also competing in the top tier of GT racing
That’s the hard part
He's raced in the top tier of motorcycles, rally and GT
10 is such a small number, we have room for very few people
I think... he displaces Vettel
Everyone moves down a spot and Montoya's out of the top 10
Think so
Yeah
he also won in a minardi
If AJ Foyt had won an F1 World Championship he'd be number 1
But he barely even raced in it
Also Graham hill should be a bit lower
He won le mans only when it was at its worst in its era
The hills own racing
But he did achieve a triple crown after all
Behind Clark
Yes
Triple crown was only won due to events in le mans making endurance shit in those times
Ken almost got triple but ford executives…
He's the honorary winner of 1966
Also le mans is so easy to win honestly
4 categories
To chose from
LMGTE Am can get you an easy win
This list only considers overall wins
Shouldn’t have to be
He set the lap record like 3 times right?
Yeah
He didn't do much outside Le Mans though
So as much as I love the guy, he's not that high up
He did Daytona and Sebring
Yeah
He got the endurance triple crown
I should clarify I mean Endurance
Also in that era
There was only two drivers in endurance
In 24 hour races
Now there's 4
Displaced Ferraris rule on their home turf (not Italy home but Europe home)
Also if Lewis, seb, lauda is on the list he should too
Agree so far?
Fair enough
Top 20 (Or more) Best DRIVERS of all time (Not just F1)
Yeah
But I thought Mario only had a good Indy and mediocre F1 career, or am I missing a lot?
He was an F1 World Champion after all
Mario is crazy inside the head. But I respect that
He could have done the job in 1977 as well but two DNFs (among other things) cost him the title to Niki Lauda
He won the most races that year
Kimi would have won but 2 DNFs cost him
And lauda would have won against hunt but 1 DNF cost him
Also, Andretti's racing career lasted thirty years
Im sorry
That's insane however you look at it
30
Yep
Andretti has won the indy500 no?
Yes
Wait I mean the team
Where would Alonso be
So if he started racing 1992 he would have just retired?
Andretti autosport
Not up there
True.
Within the top 20 I'd say
I’d imagine the Toyota ts050 doesn’t do Alonso favors to some
Nah Alonso got done dirty
2012 remember?
Title contender in a shitbox
Won le mans at age 39
Which is old for endurance
Who came second in 09?
So vettel could be 5x if brawn didn’t want to spend 1£
He could be 7x if you count that and the Ferrari title challenge in 2017 and 2018
Indeed
Downside is he won it in the ts050
Ferrari let him down
And he made a special appearance in 2008
A win is a win lmao
That is true
Wasn't he up against a powerful Audi lmp1
He had no competetion
Senna/Prost at suzuka 😳
Due to dieselgate
Oh dam
Andre Lotterer deserves a top 50 shout
Lmp1 never has competition anyways
He won Le Mans in a very harsh situation
Even now
Toyota has won every race except Sebring 1000 miles this year since Audi left
Defending the last 2 or 3 hours from 3 Peugeots, much faster than him
Alonso loves gates
Porsche was in until 2017
I've heard his house is sorrounded by a fence connected to a gate
Didn't they just run lmp1s at le mans
And GTEs the rest of wec
Prema doing good in WEC
So Alonso ranks maybe... 14th or 15th?
They ran gte and gt3 after they departed from lmp1
Coming back to top level prototype racing in 2023
Yeah it's gonna be hard for them and AF Corsa
Different cars, needing to hire new engineers, new everything
It's hard switching from GTEs to the most powerful car in Motorsport
Jacques Villeneuve is a very difficult case
Wasn’t he bad
He had one good IndyCar season and a couple F1 seasons
He's won in lots of places but how good was he really?
Not good
And his NASCAR career wasn't the best
That said, he went out and won stuff
Anyways I'm going to bed rn, night kiddos
I just hope mick gets 3x wdc
More than what could be said for someone like Alesi (as much as I like him)
Nighty-night
So he ties Dale Jr.
When did he race
He's been racing since the early 2000s
But at the same time, F1 is still the premier of all motorsports
Yeah
The fastest machines around a track in the world
919 evo..
Wec, imsa
Think he’s a Rolex 24 winner
I’d say depends
Like 2020 or 2004 championship isn’t as impressive as a 2021 championship
Fair point
How would Dixon compare against someone like Daniel Ricciardo, a several-time F1 race winner?
DR is a hard one
He has the merit to win a championship
But hasn’t had the car
Or has been let down
Ehh, top 30 probably
How about Kamui Kobayashi?
He displayed great skill in F1 but he went to Toyota and then Sauber so we never got the best of him
I don’t know
Let's figure this out later
Dixon imo would be ahead of riccardo
His longevity, consistent performance, Daytona 24 hour win
Yeah, he’s top 20
Being one of his sport’s goats
For sure
Why was vettel ranked ahead of Alonso
Or why was Alonso not in the top 10
Carlos sainz sr could make the top 20
The goat of rally
Still racing today
I didn’t put him in yet
If he’s in there, Loeb and Ogier are nearby
Wrc is tough
Is Schumacher there due to group c experience?
Yeah
How young was he when he raced group c?
He’s done F1 and Le Mans (Group C), pushing him ahead of Hamilton
This was just before his F1 career
Seems he was quick as hell
If Schumacher won lemans however we wouldn’t have the legend that is the 787b
where the hell is dale earnhardt
Colin McRae
😭
What’s wrong?
me no hablo ingles
@feral snow In here
gaminge
probably that one Taxi Driver is the best
