For example, while Twitter has (correctly) labeled RT as a Russian state affiliated page
They have not labeled the Twitter Account “Russian Memes United” (the name is a reference to the ruling political party, Russia United) as Russian state propaganda
This account has nearly 500k followers
There needs to be more public pressure on companies to close access to Russia
McPutins lol
For example, social media sites in western nations should be pressured to ban Russian users
VPNs should also be sanctioned as well
I also think sanctions should be placed against people who express pro-Russia opinions
That's just stupid
Why would you ban an innocent person
For something they have no control
Over
They do have control, they could protest instead of just sit at home while their countrymen kill children
They did protest....
And got arrested...
And tortured
Yeah and then no one continued to protest
guys I think we're straying into rule 5 territory rn
You think it's so easy to protest in an authoritarian state?
Okay
Hello
Yeah I heard
It’s closer

According to protest monitoring group OVD Info, 13,908 people have been detained at anti-war demonstrations in Russia since the start of the invasion of Ukraine.
Navalny, who posts on social media through his lawyers and allies, was jailed last year after returning to Russia having been treated in Germany for a poison attack with a nerve agent during a visit to Siberia in 2020. Russian authorities said they did not carry out the attack.

Yeah you can argue the real start of ww2 was 1937 or even 1931 if you want to discuss Manchuria
And if you ask the Americans it only started in 1941
These things are rather fluid
Why do i feel that no one cares about ukraine anymore
Or the war
In general
I mean
Nothing is trending on social media about this
Not so much being talked about too
Do you feel the same

I’m legit scared the world could end anytime cuz of putin. I think nukes could come any day
As long as the other world leaders are adequately rational and aren't as hot headed, we should be fine
So far, it seems to be that way, but yeah there is no guarantee unfortunately
What we can do is very little tho, maybe supporting a campaign to denuclearize the World, putting pressure on them to denuclearize
I said it a million times, I’ll say it again: Putin is unhinged, not stupid
hes a former kgb agent for god sake he knows what hes doing
Pretty sure nukes are part of russia’s strategy or whatever
Like if they are “losing” a war
Pretty sure threatening is
But if they try to take us down with nukes they go down with us so it’s a stalemate and we all know it
aint no way theyre gonna use nukes
I wish my anxiety would go away no matter what I do my severe anxiety won’t go away
theyre gonna get shitted on by the hundreds of nukes in western europe
Those threats seemed pretty serious
yes, theyre threats
i dont think putin is that stupid to launch a nuke in ukraine
theyre beside each other
I don’t mean nuking Ukraine, I mean the other countries he threatened
and people who aint related to it
Like the west basically
except in New Zealand appearently
they are safe from nuclear fallout
he cant just nuke the west
they basically have the same amount of nukes
ur going to New Zealand arent ya?
Man I just wish this anxiety would go away
its gonna be fine
Literally shaking right now and it won’t stop
putin isnt stupid
||perhaps||
its ok man 🫂
on the mean time
i think u need to stop watching news rn man
at least for like a month
for ur mentallity to be normal
yeah
i dont feel that scared for the risks of nuclear warfare
because no one will benefit anyway, theyve been threats for years
and every leader know that
if the world doesn’t end in a month
it wont
I saw that in the morning, I mean we've all done it right
I have fucked up at work sometimes
Not at that level
Lol
"accidentally"
The General really said "oopsie"

A c c i d e n t a l l y

YouTube announced on Friday that it had begun blocking access globally to channels associated with Russian state-funded media, citing a policy barring content that denies, minimizes or trivializes well-documented violent events.
The video platform had previously blocked the channels, specifically those of Russia Today and Sputnik, across Europe.
YouTube announced the move in a Twitter post and said that while the change was effective immediately, “we expect our systems to take time to ramp up”.
The platform, which is owned by Google, said Russia’s invasion of Ukraine now fell under its violent events policy and violating material would be removed.
A YouTube spokesman, Farshad Shadloo, said the blocking of the Russian outlets was in line with that policy.

Reports are coming in of air raid sirens sounding across Ukraine now, including in the capital Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Lviv in western Ukraine, and in the north-eastern Sumy region.
Major incoming and outgoing artillery fire.
Eastern European countries face a huge challenge to integrate the millions of refugees fleeing Ukraine, experts have warned, despite them being seen as a useful source of labour in nations with shrinking populations.
Some 2.5 million people have already fled Ukraine, according to the United Nations, which calls it Europe’s fastest-growing refugee crisis since 1945, the Agence France-Presse reports.
More than half are now in Poland but tens of thousands are also staying in Moldova and Bulgaria, which have some of the fastest shrinking populations.
A huge yacht belonging to the Russian oligarch, Andrey Melnichenko, has reportedly been seized by Italian authorities, according to CNN, citing a statement from Italy’s finance police.
A statement by the Guardia di Finanza said the vessel — called SY A — was worth about €530m euros ($578m) and was in storage at the northeastern port of Trieste.
Melnichenko made his fortune in coal and fertiliser. The SY A, which stands for “sailing yacht A”, is believed to be one of the largest superyachts in the world.
It follows the seizure last week of a yacht owned by Russia’s richest man, Alexei Mordashov, in the wake of western sanctions against Russian oligarchs regarded as close to Vladimir Putin.
The UK government is intending to further ramp up pressure on the Kremlin with plans to ban exports of luxury goods to Russia in the latest move to isolate Vladimir Putin, Press Association reports.
Details of the plans will be set out in the coming days, Downing Street said. The report comes hours after the US announced it would ban imports of seafood, vodka and diamonds from Russia.
Technicians have begun repairing damaged power lines to the site of the Russia-controlled Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the International Atomic Energy Agency has said in a statement citing the Ukrainian regulator.
Satellite images show Russian forces are getting closer to Kyiv and appear to be firing artillery toward residential areas, Reuters has reported.
The UN security council met on Friday to discuss Moscow’s claims that the US is funding “military biological activities” in Ukraine. The Russian ambassador to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, invoked the terrifying spectre of an “uncontrolled spread of bio agents from Ukraine” across Europe. Both the US and Ukraine have categorically denied that they are developing any biological weapons inside the country.
UN experts: New Russian media law puts Russians in "total information blackout."
Experts appointed by the UN Human Rights Council said Russia’s implementation of a “punitive ‘fake war news’ law is an alarming move by the government to gag and blindfold an entire population.”
WSJ: US hedge funds told to freeze Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich’s assets following sanctions by the U.K. government on March 10.
The instructions likely thwart the oligarch’s recent efforts to sell his interests in a series of hedge funds.

Belarus denies plans to join Russian invasion
Belarusian armed forces’ chief of general staff, Viktor Gulevich, said Belarus has no plans to join the Russian invasion of Ukraine but is sending five battalion tactical groups (BTGs) to its border on rotation to replace forces already stationed there.
On Friday, a top Ukrainian security official warned Belarus not to send troops to Ukraine amid fears that Belarus was planning to join Russian armed forces within hours.
Gulevich denied plans to invade Ukraine today:
I want to underline that the transfer of troops is in no way connected with (any) preparation, and especially not with the participation of Belarusian soldiers in the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine.
Russian attacks continue in areas where Ukraine is trying to evacuate people and bring aid through “humanitarian corridors”, the governors of two Ukrainian regions, Kyiv and Donetsk, said in separate statements, Reuters reports.
The Donetsk governor, Pavlo Kyrylenko, told local media:
Humanitarian cargo is moving towards Mariupol, we will inform you how it develops ... The situation is complicated, there is constant shelling.
Russian forces have shelled a mosque in the besieged Ukrainian port city of Mariupol, where more than 80 adults and children, including Turkish citizens, have taken refuge, Ukraine’s foreign ministry said.
The mosque of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and his wife Roxolana (Hurrem Sultan) in Mariupol was shelled by Russian invaders.
More than 80 adults and children are hiding there from the shelling, including citizens of Turkey.

Kyiv authorities offer to set up Wi-Fi in bomb shelters.
The Kyiv City State Administration has launched a website, http://wifi.kyivcity.gov.ua, where residents can leave a request for getting an Internet connection provided.
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskiy called on the leaders of France and Germany to help secure the release of Ivan Fedorov, the mayor of Melitopol who Kyiv says was abducted by Russian forces, AFP reports.
Zelenksiy was speaking in his latest video address, where he said 2,000 Ukrainians demonstrated in Melitopol on Saturday against the Russian invasion and to demand the release of their mayor.
Do you hear, Moscow? If 2,000 people demonstrate in Melitopol against the occupation, how many are there in Moscow against the war?
He said:
During the night and today we are talking to our partners about the situation with our mayor. Our demand is clear: he must be released immediately... I have already phoned (German) Chancellor Olaf Scholz. I have spoken to (French) President Emmanuel Macron... I will speak to all the necessary people to get our people released.
We expect world leaders to show us how they can influence the situation.
Evacuations of civilians from frontline towns in Ukraine’s Kyiv region were proceeding, Reuters cites regional governor Oleksiy Kuleba as saying.

We will try to get people out every day, as long as it’s possible to observe a ceasefire.
Roman Abramovich has been disqualified as a director of Chelsea by the Premier League board.
The decision comes after Abramovich was hit by UK government sanctions on Thursday, in turn imposing severe operational restrictions on Chelsea.
A Premier League statement reads:
Following the imposition of sanctions by the UK government, the Premier League board has disqualified Roman Abramovich as a director of Chelsea Football Club.
The board’s decision does not impact on the club’s ability to train and play its fixtures, as set out under the terms of a licence issued by the government, which expires on 31 May 2022.
HAHAHAHHAHAA
should have happened like a week ago imo
I mean it likely wouldn’t end the whole world like a nuke would
:v
idek if this is good or bad
bet they aint gonna risk that
At least they wouldn’t end the whole world like nukes probably
it could cause effects but it won’t end the world tbh
bad
nice
nukes are without doubt not in the books
nukes are just smpty threats
always have been
reminds me of that guy from florida
w h a t .
who got pulled over
and said he was speeding home because he think putin was starting a nuclear war or something
i dont literally mean its nice, I mean nice that i got an answer
oh how florida never changes

i can imagine some meme goes: Here we see a Florida man just randomly floating

fake
our country may eb idiots but we cant fight india
we both are nuclear powers
no pakistan news channel has reported this so far
reuters reported it
they won't right?
like why will any country's media say that a missile landed in our area
This is Pakistan
They just did
But we intercepted it
That’s what our sources are saying
Luckily it didn't have a warhead
Lucky India isn’t pushing their luck
I don’t think bombing a country which you already have tense relations with is called trolling
no casualties right btw?
True
Quite awkward
no casualties
Phew
slight damage to properties
I swear why was I born here
but it was dangerous
Oh :(
Yea

Had it injured some one
Wouldn't expect nothing less from a stray missile
I swear tbh like the western world would paint us as a enemies

I’m sure it was intentional

Who do you “accidentally” launch a rocket which conveniently happens to attack your rival
'rival'
I couldn’t find a better word

WHY COULDNT I HAVE BEEN BORN IN SCANDINAVIA

Never really found Pakistanis to be my 'rivals', heck i even had great friends from Pakistan

I wouldn't really recommend that
But politically due to Kashmir
ahh
I have no interest in politics and border disputes
saying anything about it would just lead to an argument
+rule 5 still applies here
no
YES HE IS
what is the 69 year old bloke suppposed to do
He isn't that stupid
i heavily doubt he wants to start a nuclear war
That wouldn't benefit him at all
that would only backfire
It would benefit noone
HE LITERALLY THREATENED NUCLEAR WARFARE ON OTHER COUNTRIES and he WILL do it if he wants
and who would he nuke
You're just fearmongering
empty threats
Have you ever heard of "Nuclear Deterrence"?
Threats and reality aren't necessarily the same thing
threats happen most of the time.
That's exactly what he's doing
Yes, which means he plans to throw nukes if someone pisses him off enough
He wants Ukraine for a reason, using nukes, it's only going to fuck him over
he does
If he doesn't care about nuclear war, then why he does care for Ukraine?
"Nothing to lose", only if NATO is envolved
He wins nothing for capitulating Ukraine
Empty threats
If russia were to invade Finland and Sweden, it would just stretch the Russian army even more
and they are already struggling in Ukraine
"invading sweden" is most likely gonna be harrasing gotland
Russia cant really afford to do anything but continue the Ukraine Invasion
Closer to Nato
Distancing Moscow further away from Nato Boarders too
Sweden doesnt need to join NATO we already have several NATO Countries as allies
It is more likely Russia have a civil war then Russia invading Finland
we should "keep an eye out" for the nuke threats, but its like a 2% chance they'll be used
Russia has threatened stuff millions of times and they actually do it like 5% of the time
The threats are a bit more significant this time but still, dont see putin being stupid enough to actually launch nuclear weapons.
Its basically suicide and he knows that
also, MAD exists
only way WW3 or Nukes willhappen is if NATO gets involved directly
but i still think we should keep a close eye out though still
bleh this war
you need a subscription to view this wtf
welclome to 2022
Russians think they’ve lost the war?
That wouldn’t make sense at all
They’ve got the larger army
Ngl I had bleak hopes for Ukraine
i never said that
idk what you mean
I didnt expect Ukraine to be this strong
yeah
but i love the fact that ukraine is actually putting up a fight
and Ukrainians are joining the fight
and not just th emilitary
Ukraine is one of the biggest country of europe and then have tactical help from all Europe
Where russian soldiers didn't even know they were invading
neither does everyone

Putin is a crybaby lmao
He’s just getting all salty that this wasn’t easy for him
Im kind of afraid he will go to nuclear bombs just to prevent a loss
By going nuclear, he's also losing

ah shit if it's another "accident"
its possibly the national guard sabotaging the nuclear deal Iran and the US want to make. Pro russian sentiment, punishment for weapons deliveries to Ukraine
china have been mass executing innocents for years
the uyghur genocide
don’t let other events distract you from this already overshadowed and almost covered up genocide
accidents
everything's an accident
a lot of accidental missile firing
only intentional mistakes
fun fact i got muted by @quaint wren once for sending that

just like u
this is going on the list of top 10 most useless thing that happened in this war
Apparently the fighting is “moving closer” to Poland
Would be stupid if they purposely cross the Poland better and fight there
That would just mean that Putin wants WW3 to happen
american journalist shot and killed in Irpin
probably just touching the waters
putin won't want to touch nato counrties
that bears more than he himself can even handle
Seems like putin is targeting Poland which is stupid
They’re moving closer to Polish border
Seems like he’s targeting them
He’s taking his anger out on a nato country just because he’s a crybaby
It seems like he’s TRYING to start WW3
yea but what's the gain on that
If they attack Poland then WW3 starts which is bad
Russia will launch a nuclear attack or some kind of dangerous attack just to prevent from losing
Considering how powerful putin is
He will ensure he never loses a war
Wont happen
Nuclear warfare over this is stupid, even by Putin's standards
well putin is pretty fucking dumb
you know in these times i love being in a 3 world country
no one gives a shit about us
New zealand: honestly same they didnt even put us on the world map in the older times
lol but you guys are still now better
aint no one giving a care about us
unless it involves india
how is the war going?
yes but I'd still say nuclear warfare is not somthing he genuinely considers
Russia bogging down as usual
ok but like any major cities taken
dont think so, in fact
@lavish flare
kk
Ukraine is still holding strong
Heard Zelensky was targeted by Russian Secret Service
Is that true?
Also do you guys think there are any server services from around the world targeting Putin?
And then Germany will start to move in their troops into Poland with an excuse of "Defending NATO"
Poland: Wait, where have I seen this before
Kurwa, not again!
he did survive serveral Assassination in the past few weeks
he's apparently putin's target no 1 so im guessing possible
They all are trying to kill him
That would just trigger a global war
he has too many body doubles tho

What happened to detained people
what a thumbnail ngl
they may show ounces of leniency and allow some people to go home under specific circumstances
whoever took that photo need a raise
it was a video so, screenshot
he actually said facts
well yes it could be
either that or someone actually taken it
no ive seen the video
so it was screenshotted
aight
still a damn good thumbnail tho
Isn’t he kind of right tho
its not like china will actually join forces
all russia has to do to ignite ww3 is to accidentally bombard the polish border
from what we've seen of russia so far it wont be much of a world war and more of a curbstomp
russia did ask china for help
but i dont think they're "butt buddies" or anything
china prob just tolerates russia
i doubt china will really join
Not necessarily. People are much more willing to kill and die if they are being invaded
Invading a country is never easy to do
literally
This whole situation has taken a severe toll on my health
China rejected russia so russia went and acted like it never happend
just like kids who got rejected
A Russian UAV was shot down by Ukrainian air defense units after it briefly passed into Polish airspace - @24tvua
Defend every inch my ass 🤣🤣
NATO a clown ass shitshow
so is every alliance nowdays
including the UN
not wanting ww3 is not a "clown ass shitshow"
it is a shitshow when you let yourself get bullied by some weak guy just because he got some big guns. Instead of letting the step over you with no retaliation maybe you stand up for yourself, in the end its putins fault
Ah yes I see we have some "foreign policy" and "Defense experts" here who have lots of advice
If Russia is actually targeting Poland that’s stupid
Would trigger a full nato response and increases the chances of a possible Third World War.
I hope they didn’t mean for that Uav to cross into Poland and it was just a navigation failure or something
Even if it was Poland is still NATO so it could still trigger a response, then WW3, then end of the world.
It’s scary how just one miscalculation could possibly result in the world ending
any updates
all its happening is that Kyiv is now under seige even though the russian are having a hard time to incircle it
Mariupol is a tough fight rn
back to it
Two people have been killed by shelling in Kyiv on Tuesday morning, according to Ukraine’s state emergency service.

West must end addiction to Russian energy, says Boris Johnson
China has denied claims by US officials that Russia had sought military assistance in Ukraine and accused Washington of spreading “malicious disinformation” that risked escalating the conflict.
After a tense day-long meeting between Chinese and US officials in Rome on Monday, Washington said it feared China had already starting supplying arms and equipment to Russia.
But the Chinese embassy in London told Reuters in a statement: “The US has repeatedly spread malicious disinformation against China on the Ukraine issue. China has been playing a constructive role in promoting peace talks.
“The top priority now is to ease the situation, instead of adding fuel to the fire, and work for diplomatic settlement rather than further escalate the situation.”
War should be over by May, says Ukrainian government adviser
An adviser in the Ukraine government says the the war should be over by May because Russia will run out of resources to keep the invasion going.
Citing a video published by several Ukrainian media outlets, Reuters reports that Oleksiy Arestovich, an adviser to the Ukrainian president’s chief of staff, said:
I think that no later than in May, early May, we should have a peace agreement, maybe much earlier, we will see, I am talking about the latest possible dates.
We are at a fork in the road now: there will either be a peace deal struck very quickly, within a week or two, with troop withdrawal and everything, or there will be an attempt to scrape together some, say, Syrians for a round two and, when we grind them too, an agreement by mid-April or late April.
Nearly all of the Russian military offensives in Ukraine remain stalled after making little progress over the weekend, according to a Penatgon briefing. Russian troops are still about 15km (9 miles) from the center of Kyiv, a US defence official said, Reuters reports.
Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s latest address implores Russian troops to surrender. he says they “have a chance to live” if they choose to lay down their arms.
“On behalf of the Ukrainian people, we give you a chance to live. If you surrender to our forces, we will treat you as humans have to be treated: with dignity. The way you have not been treated in your army. And the way your army doesn’t treat our people. Choose.”
He also said that the war in Russia had become a “nightmare” for the Russian military because it was losing a lot of troops and equipment.
However, he said that talks with Russia would continue on Tuesday.
Ninety children have been killed and more than 100 wounded in Ukraine since Russia invaded on 24 February, the Ukrainian general prosecutor’s office said. “The highest number of victims are in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolayiv and Zhytomyr regions,” it said in a statement.
The mayor of Ukraine’s frontline city of Kharkiv said the city had been under constant attack by Russian forces, Reuters reports. Speaking on national television, Ihor Terekhov said Russian troops had fired at central districts causing an unspecified number of casualties.
US president Joe Biden is considering travelling to Europe for in-person meetings with Nato allies, Reuters reports. Biden could meet other leaders in Brussels on 23 March and then travel to Poland, the report said.
A convoy of more than 160 cars departed from Mariupol, local officials said, in what appeared to be the first successful attempt to evacuate civilians from the encircled Ukrainian city. After several days of failed attempts to deliver supplies to Mariupol and provide safe passage out for trapped civilians, the city council said a local ceasefire was holding and the convoy had left for the city of Zaporizhzhia.

False information surrounding death toll in Mariupol circulates online.
Mariupol City Council has confirmed that around 2,357 people in the city have died as a result of Russian war as of March 14, and that all other estimates are false.
The British Ministry of Defence (MoD) says Russia has reportedly installed its own mayor in the city of Melitopol following the alleged abduction of his predecessor on Friday.
In an intelligence update, MoD said it was reported Russian forces have also fired warning shots at protestors as demonstrations broke out in occupied areas of Ukraine.
“Reporting suggests that Russia may seek to stage a ‘referendum’ in Kherson in an attempt to legitimise the area as a ‘breakaway republic’ similar to Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea,” it added.

After Putin's attacks on Ukraine,...
A second Fox News journalist, Oleksandra “Sasha” Kuvshynova, was also killed in Ukraine during the same attack that killed Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewsk and left Fox News correspondent Benjamin Hall wounded, confirmed the network today.
MPs from across the continent have voted to expel Russia from the Council of Europe over the invasion of Ukraine in a further sign of the Kremlin’s estrangement from the western democratic order.
Around 29,000 people were evacuated from multiple Ukrainian cities using humanitarian corridors today, with a majority fleeing Mariupol, reported Reuters.
The US Pentagon released more updates on the war in Ukraine today as the US defence secretary, Lloyd J Austin III, and his team travel to the Nato headquarters in Europe.
Russia is launching airstrikes against civilian targets “with increasing frequency” in Kyiv, according to a US senior defence official.
From Foreign Policy’s national security reporter Jack Detsch:
NEW: Russia is striking civilian targets in Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv “with increasing frequency”: senior U.S. defense official.
Russian forces are still about 10 miles to the northwest of the city and about 12 miles to the east, officials said.
Jailed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny predicts that the war with Ukraine, "planned by crazy old men," will lead to the collapse of Russia.
Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelenskiy meets with the prime ministers of the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia today amid Russia’s war on Ukraine in Kyiv.
I'll say this, Ukraine is winning
Militarily they're a stalemate but favoring Ukraine, economically Russia is gonna be in shambles, politically Ukraine has been more supported than 2014
😵💫
what does that even mean
bro calm down
Dude, chill. You also wouldn't be calm when war is almost in your country
that being said, i am not sure if Europe is willing to watch Kyiv fall.
cuz it isnt falling
yet
For now, but what will happen in next 3 weeks, 3 months?
right, hard to say
if it falls it will take several months of heavy artillery bombardment and make the city useless
Exactly
I doubt Europe will stand by and watch that happen
but I'm also not sure if Putin will go that far
They have to, i mean they can send weapons but
Putin is gonna win this war at all costs
sadly Putin's faith is tied to the outcome of this war and he knows that
putin will ensure he wins
he might even resort to nukes just because he can, and to ensure he never loses a war
he can't that easily
He would lose probably all his allies
even China would want to appear to judge that
I think there's actually a good chance this happens. a very high chance a nato country's leader is stupid enough to go through with it
Luckely there is still mililary which needs to approve or at least not oppose that plan
even though its basically declaring war
USA will never go through with that
you think they would disobey Putins order? Then he will find someone else who doesnt
Putin does whatever he wants until he gets killed by his own
Putin is evil so he would threaten bad things on his military people if they dont obey his order
he would basically "force" them to obey it
I'm sure he can find someone to send just 1 nuke but not all
Putin might just say "fuck it" and do it. i dont think he cares about rules and orders
I doubt Russians are willing to tie their faith to this war. Putin might be but the people are not.
i could see one nato country being stupid and encouraging it
but it prob takes more than one to agree
they prob all have to agree
i don't know how it would work
but i know usa, germany, uk, france etc
will all be against it
all the big countries would blok it so..
not going to happen
i think all of NATO would have to agree
right so never going to happen
the scary part is
putin finding a way to "ensure" he wins the war could happen
because who knows what he would pull then
putin using nukes on anyone or even coming close to it would probably crash their economy even worse
but idk if he cares
I guess we'll have to see
Putin cares
evil men don't care
they care about some things
pretty sure Hitler hated his people
Putin doesn't care about people but to him the Russian Soul is real
He does what he does as The Protector of that soul
he believes God gave him this mission
It's why I think he doesn't want to be king of the ashes in Ukraine. That was never the plan. Putin's plan is starting to fail.
The Ukrainian president’s comments sparked speculation that he could be laying the groundwork for a peace deal with Moscow, which wants Kyiv barred from joining the alliance.
"Ukraine is not a member of Nato. We understand it," Zelenskyy said during a video conference with military officials.

Zelensky looking for a way out
If this war can end through diplomacy putin will need to be given something
How do we know he even believes in God
he's very open about that
and would piss off putin even more
They wont join though
ye
Zelensky seems somewhat sensible
The Russian Pope also names Putin the protector of the Russian soul
And the people in russia are very religious an take that very serious
oh no
Putin calls Moscow The Third Rome
Putin already sanctioned the US by basically banning Biden from Russia
He believes Russian Orthodoxy is the true Christian faith
i mean Moscow didnt fall since Napoleon so
i doubt anyone has any plans to invade Moscow
true
Rome's leader (a.k.a Mr. C) was murdered by his court members... seems like it's all coming together
Has russia made any progress
No
why third?
Rome, constantinopole then moscow?
i mean Russia is orthodox
so is constantinople before
so idk it kinda make sense?

2 Fox News journalists and members were killed in Ukraine after coming under fire by Russian forces.
damn
Putin trying to brainwash People by making What tv Can say very strict is craazy
ngl, thats kinda sad,i am not supporting russia but i dont think anyone should die,but its a "war" so kinda cant avoid it
ok..
sad is not the word that come to my mind when a russian general dies who's tasked with breaking the will of the Ukrainians by reigning down terror on their women, children, elderly, hospitals, maternity wards etc
but yeah war is sad, let's leave it at that
Breaking news: Ukraine and Russia have made significant progress on a tentative 15-point peace plan including a ceasefire and Russian withdrawal https://t.co/7TeFi3O8VH https://t.co/GhE3H6qwzQ
Some hopeful news
It’s Russia lol
They don’t want peace
At least putin doesn’t
He ain’t gonna stop until he has full control of Ukraine
That’s a very naive and two dimensional view of the world
Putin listens to power
the war isn't going as planned
he knows he could maybe conquer the important part of Ukraine but not all
and he knows he will have to keep occupying that part
The war is going poorly and it could be a better solution to withdraw for the time being and try to regain geopolitical standing
he won't get the support of the people in Urkaine so setting up a puppet goverment will not be possible
Putin's options are limited and he knows it
Inb4 he just uses a nuke to ensure his victory
nothing to gain for Putin
it would mean the Russian Soul he's so eager to protect would be isolated and made irrelevant like north korea
No precedent, not something you can do
I mean....
Putin would lose China as an ally if he uses a nuke in an assault
at least publicly
his last strong ally
China hasn’t said they’re sending military aid so I don’t know if they’re actually as close as we think
It’s more of a “we both dislike the west” thing
China isn’t interested in tying themselves to Russia right now
That’s been made clear
even if this does take a break, china is likely invading taiwan anyways so we likely wont get that long of a break from this stuff
China is watching closely and already has begun work to make their economy sanction proof
just in case
That’s not as likely as you think, especially after now
🤨 yeah not anytime soon
literally at the minimum is 2025 26
starting to think Putin might want to stop this soon because its not going as well as he thinks
he knows he isnt gonna take full control of ukraine
That’s probably why talks are starting to increase
russia military is weaker than we thought and ukraine military is stronger than we thought
never know with Jinping
hes almsot as evil as putin
気象庁
maybe just as evil
No, you do know. It’s relatively easy to predict their strategy and geopolitical movements
People don’t act cruel in a vacuum
Oh, damn
Russia is gonna keep crying to China for help
Yeah and China isn’t going to militarily back them
It’s against their geopolitical policy and interests
interesting
this really needs to happen
it would be good for everyone apart from a few billionaires
thats would be reason to celebrate in the streets
fucking Putin spoiled our end of corona parties
Covid isn’t close to over
I guess not, here where we live we scrapped the last covid restrictions yesterday though
no more masks.. everything open..
.
yeah the thing is right
CNN granted private interviews with Russian POWs, who gave no indications of duress or coercion from their captors.
"It's not just about demilitarizing Ukraine or the defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but now cities of peaceful civilians are being destroyed. Even, I don't know, what can justify, fk, the tears of a child, or even worse, the deaths of innocent people, children."
Vladimir then went a big step further, saying: "I want to tell our commander-in-chief to stop terror acts in Ukraine because when we come back we'll rise against him."
Another reconnaissance officer at the same event echoed the sentiment, addressing Putin directly.
"You won't hide this for long. There are many like us here. Sooner or later, we'll come home."
i live in the UK
and have lived in both Wales and England for the past two years
so i can tell you that i've experienced "all restrictions lifted" several times
it doesn't mean covid is over
i'm more scared of a new type of birdflue to be honest
factory farming fucked us all
and now a much deadlier version of birdflue spread to wild birds
and it has already infected humans
seems like a disaster waiting to happen
potentially much worse than covid
Covid will never be “over”
Honestly as much as I hate masks, here in the US they removed mandates for like schools and stuff which I think is a mistake
sure it’s going down but there could be another variant
Ffff
🇺🇦 says that mayor of Melitopol was released “after a special operation”. Zelensky speaks to him& jokes: “we are happy they took you.. “You seem to have a very lively voice”, he says.

Another horrendous war crime in Mariupol. Massive Russian attack on the Drama Theater where hundreds of innocent civilians were hiding. The building is now fully ruined. Russians could not have not known this was a civilian shelter. Save Mariupol! Stop Russian war criminals! https://t.co/bIQLxe7mli

bruh
zelensky overreacting a tad tbh
at the moment ww3 isn't even close i dont think
It’s not close, but it’s not far. Wouldn’t be a world war, either, as China likely isn’t sticking with Russia
zelenskyy is fearmongering the west so we freak out
west ie the people of the west
zelensky trying everything he can to save his people...i can't blame him
every day.. every hour this war lasts his people are being murdered
I’m hoping a ceasefire can be agreed upon
Netflix says the political satire series, “Servant of the People,” starring Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, has returned to its streaming platform. https://t.co/bUNmI2Wqr6

fear mongering isn’t saving his people
Yeah WW3 ain’t happening
The only way it does is if Russia and China team up basically
BREAKING: Kremlin says Biden's comments regarding Putin being a 'war criminal' are 'unacceptable and unforgiveable'
2916

LMAO THE KREMLIN ARE A BUNCH OF CRYBABIES
Inb4 Russia threatens war on the U.S. now
Doesn’t seem likely
Krybaby Kremlins
Russian for daycare
I’m keeping an eye on the situation
is it gore?
The China thing or Biden calling putin a war criminal?
The China thing
I don’t think China will help them
It isnt in Chinas interest to help Russia
Isn’t it against their policy or something
There is no financial gain with that
not that Xi Jinping cares but isn’t it?
he could go with Russia's narrative that Putin isn'tinvading and this isn't a war
A lot of my opinion on this conflict cannot be discussed here
why?
Political
It doesn’t seem likely that China will help them
This isn’t the server for politics and that’s ok
Also I kinda feel like Biden calling Putin a war criminal may be a very bad thing because Russia is a big power and they could try to threaten war on the US after the kremlin called it “unacceptable”
Yeah it would be bad for their political position
Words are empty
You never know with Russia
Americas twice the power of russia
Inb4 we get “heavily sanctioned” by Russia after Bidens comments
and is a stupid casus belli at that too 💀
casus belli = reason to go to war
I wouldn’t expect a larger conflict
doesn't look like it
who going to join russia in this insane war they are not winning?
russia'slegacy will be tarnished for the coming century
ask the germans, these things tend to stick
and in this age, with the internet, their atrocities will never be forgotten
I don’t see things really improving though
russia is failing, their mission is impossible
Putin can't go full Grozny on Kyiv, the whole world would turn against them
but it's hard to imagine how this conflict will end
Or if it even will
Russia can't keep this up much longer
their economy is in shambles
their army is losing moral
the longer this war lasts the better supply lines from the west to Ukraine will be
and the tighter the sanctions
we all prob were surprised by Ukraine
and by Russia
For how strong Ukraine was and how weak Russia was
Ukraine doing everything right sofar it seems. Picking battles they can win and waiting for the Russian forces to fuck up
Russia are asking for Chinese support to keep the war going
Mariupol attack no different from siege of Leningrad, Zelenskiy says
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskiy has made another national address just after midnight local time.
Zelenskiy confirmed the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fyodorov, was released and added that the city has not submitted to Russian forces.
Russian soldiers kidnapped him on March 11 and tried to force him into collaboration. But our man withstood. He didn’t give up. We will withstand too. All of us. We are not giving up. For we are Ukrainians, and we always defend our people and what’s ours.
The president also said humanitarian corridors failed on Wednesday. “Russian soldiers didn’t stop shelling and didn’t guarantee safety,” he added.
Despite the onslaught, Zelenskiy said more than 6,000 people, including 2,000 thousand children from Mariupol, managed to flee to Berdyansk and are being evacuated.
Russian troops tried to disrupt the movement. They opened artillery fire on the road section between Vasylivka and Kamyanske in Zaporizhia region. It was a miracle that nobody died. Five people were wounded, including two children.”
In Chernihiv, he said Russian troops fired on civilians who were “simply standing in line for bread” killing ten.
Zelenskiy also confirmed Russian forces dropped a bomb on the theatre in the city centre of Mariupol.
Hundreds of people were taking shelter there… The building was destroyed. The number of victims is yet unknown. My heart is breaking from what Russia is doing to our people, to Mariupol, to Donetsk region.”
Russian forces have been accused of bombing a theatre where hundreds of displaced people were believed to have been sheltering and striking a swimming pool where pregnant women and young children had gathered.
The attacks happened in the besieged city of Mariupol. There was no immediate confirmation of the numbers of deaths or injuries in what the Mariupol city council said was a “bomb on a building where hundreds of peaceful Mariupol residents were hiding”.
US to send Switchblade drones and anti-aircraft Stingers to Ukraine
The United States, Britain, France, Albania, Norway and Ireland have requested an emergency UN Security Council meeting on Thursday due to the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Ukraine, diplomatic sources said.
Russian forces shot and killed 10 people standing for bread in the northern Ukrainian city of Chernihiv, the US embassy in Kyiv said. Ukrainian officials said the attack took place at 10am local time (8am GMT). Russia’s defence ministry denied the report, claiming no Russian soldiers were in Chernihiv.
The bodies of five people, including three children, were recovered today during searches of residential buildings damaged by shelling in the northern Ukrainian city of Chernihiv, Ukraine’s emergencies service said. The bodies were found in the ruins of a dormitory building, it said in an online statement.
Co-leader of the pro-Kremlin Opposition Platform – For Life party Viktor Medvedchuk’s yacht, Royal Romance, was seized in Croatia on March 16 following sanctions imposed amid Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
