#Which American Grand Prix would you substitute for Indianapolis?

COTA is a damn good track and Las Vegas has beautiful scenes (and is a good track imo but i guess people dont feel the same) and Miami has neither of those so Miami gotta go
I second this
Miami should just go to the holy grail of shit tracks
Btw ik we’re almost definitely talking about the Indy road course but pure oval at Indy even if its just for 1 year would be very cool
wheres the none option
Vegas is not a good track but isn't bad, it allows some battles but the slow section near the sphere us kinda there just to get more laptime
Miami is a damn good track
Miami is not a good track, there's 0 overtaking opportunities except for the last hairpin
it is but they probably won't do it
How?
Overtaking opportunities are a lie created by big braking zone so more braking zones are added to tracks
No, you can't go side by sode on miami because it's either too tight, the corner profile is ass or degradation
I'm not saying you need a big braking zone
Look at silverstone which really only has 2
Miami has 3 and is far worse
Miami is actually wider than a lot of tracks, the corner profiles aren't "ass" it's just that the current/2025 cars are ass at overtaking
That's true as well but the corners are tight because walls are close so on some track you can go off with 2 wheels on miami it's often impossible
Extend the start/finish straight, have a sharper turn 1, slow down the esses
And all of a sudden that second straight is a brilliant overtaking opportunity
