#Who is the Goat of F1 (If there is one)
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Everyone already knows he is the goat so there is no point of mentioning him
Max
I can't keep having this argument with you ðŸ˜
I will defend jimmy till the day I die
Won by 5 minutes in the wet one hand with a broken gearbox
won indy 500 as a rookie
won by a minute with a slipped disc
in an era where racing was a hobby practiced by anyone who could get behind a wheel, with cars that were lucky to last until the end of a race
clark was a fantastic driver but his career is just not something you can compare to anything today
Hamilton is closer to underrated than overrated
agreed
people have gone full horseshoe and downplayed him so much that fans who never watched (or at least researched) his prime just have no idea what he's capable of
how is hamilton overrated when basically everyone wants him to retire
I mean you are a hamilton fan but yea he is a little underated tbh
Like for a rookie to be challenging the reining champ and fighting for the WDC is crazy
I know lewis did get alot of practice in the Mclaren but still very impressive
Also I remeber in 2020 showing my auntie a video that said (2020 Be like) and it said 'Light's out and Lewis Hamilton wins!' lol I really hate max fans tho cos most of them are DTS fans and Max fans are such hypocrits because they are saying max is a 5x champ when in 2021 they were mad at LH44 for saying Lewis is a 8x time champ lol max fans just piss me off so much
he’s the only multi time world champion that ever gets told ‘he only won because of the car’ despite having more competitive teammates than basically anyone else
Ye people under estimate him
But Max fans say Max is they goat whilst they started to watch F1 in 2024
and has by far the most false narratives spread about him, from ‘not adapting to ground effect’, to ‘he had so much time in the mclaren, of course he beat alonso’
I hope 2026 will be a turn around for him Im not a Lewis fan but I cant bear to watch one of his interviews again
i mean max is very good and he’s undoubtedly the best of his era but i think its different if you’re watching someone live compared to in the past
For me Jim Clark was and always will be the goat Max is not at goat status yet for me his is 6th
like a lot of people who grew up when maradona was playing think he’s the greatest footballer of all time, whilst basically everyone else thinks its messi/ronaldo
Fangio 5x champ so underated and Prost could be a 8x champ easily
