The second Red Bull seat was going to perform poorly either way but for VCARB, putting Lindblad there this soon is a recipe for disaster. I mean, fucking MAZEPIN finished higher in the F2 standings in his last year before F1 (Antonelli doesn't count because A. He won absolutely every championship he competed for before F2, and B. In the early part of the season he was very inconsistent, plus Mercedes gives much better training than Haas did in 2021)

lindblad is not the finished article and he probably needed another season in f2, but he has a lot of potential and could easily do very well next season
