He did get podiums in Merc but wasnt able to get wins and he was lucky in 2024 that he won 2 races

Combination of factors but the main one is the characteristics of the Ferrari

Hamilton obviously has not adapted well to these regulations as they don’t allow him to utilise his late braking style
